Kids are 9, 3 and 1. With Daddy as a park ranger and me a former state park naturalist, we certainly incorporate lots of nature study! Gardening, hikes, camping, canoeing and just general exploring are our favorites. Sounds like this curriculum is right up our alley, and I’ll definitely be checking it out!

My girl is fifteen and my boys are two and a half- we love snow shoeing, sledding and ice fishing this time of the year. We’ve been eyeing the maples, getting ready for one of our favorite winter/spring treats- maple syrup! It’s almost time to start tapping those trees!

We’ve always been facebook fans- would love to get our Oak Meadow pre k curriculum!

Our kids are 8, almost 6 and 3 months. As we currently live in Japan, our favorite weekend activity includes hiking through the many woods by our home and seeking out temples and shrines. On our way either to the temple or on the way back we’re always able to spot something fun and exciting! Inevitably we almost always find frogs and often snakes when the weather warms. It’s not my favorite, but the kids love it!

Our kids are 5 and 2 1/2 and we are enjoying harvesting at the moment. It’s just turning to autumn in New Zealand so we’re picking the last blueberries, while the grapes, peaches and tomatoes are just coming into their own. Daily garden rambles and picking sessions are happy times. We love our near-daily family walk, too.

My kids are 7, 9 and 12. Favorite activities are hiking and splashing around at the waters edge (river, lake, stream, pond), not in swimwear I might add, but fully clothed as apparently that makes is much more exciting.

I have 2 boys, ages 13 and 11. We love being outside on a blanket as we read and do some of our work. But, activity-wise, we like to hike, camp and especially lighting fires and roasting marshmallows. Another favorite is to mimic the outdoor/natural artist, Andy Goldsworthy!
