Jamie’s homeschool day in the life (with an 11-, 12-, & 13-year-old)
My kids are 6 & 8 and we love to ski!
Winter is one of our favorite seasons! My 16,12,7 and 5 year old’s favorite wintertime activities are baking gingerbread with lemon sauce, trying new soup recipes, turning our Christmas tree into a feeder for all of the wildlife in our yard, celebrating our winter birthdays and playing in the snow. Thank you!
My kids are….23,23,21,18,14,12,8,6,and 3. To be honest…one of our favorite winter nature based activity is to shovel snow. With that snow, we build forts for competitive snowball fights, and build creative snowmen! and create fortresses for creative play and hope it lasts long enough to use them for awhile.
My kids are 5, 9 and 12. Our favorite winter activity is snowshoeing.
My kids are 6, 4, and almost 2 and we love taking nature walks! Thanks for sharing about Oak Meadow!
My kid is almost 6. We don’t get much winter here but we do talk about the way animals behave throughout the different seasons . We also watch what happens to the plant life around us and particularly in our garden.
Hi! I have a 4 yo and a 7 yo. Our newest favorite Winter activity is family trips to the Canaveral National Seashore to collect sea beans, play in the sand and waves, and pick up bags of litter without worrying about Summer sunburns.
My kids are 4 1/2 yrs old and 23 months old. Our favorite winter time activity has been to play with snow but since moving to Florida, we do lots of nature walks.

My kids are 2, 4, and 6! Our favorite nature based winter activity is walking and/or snowshoeing in the woods near our home and looking for animal tracks in the snow.
Hello! My kids are 5, 4 and 2. Our favorite winter activity is camping! It’s our favorite camping season in Florida because the evenings are cool, and the mosquitoes aren’t so prevalent. ☺

My son is 10 and we love to sked, tin and snoweshoe!
We are new to homeschooling and love this opportunity. So thanks!

My son will be 9 very soon and my daughter is 6. We love playing in the snow and looking for tracks of various animals. They also love watching any animals that happen by.
My kiddos are 7,9,11 and in winter we love to rug up and get a hot chocolate at the farmer’s market 🙂
My son is 4.5, and our favorite thing to do in the Florida “winter” is to wander around all the playgrounds in our area, many of which have bits of “jungle” for us to adventure through.
Age 6. And sledding or looking for animals, tracks, etc.
My kids are 7, 5,and 2. In the winter we have mild weather but sometimes it gets cold. Our favorite thing to do is play in the woods behind our house.
My kids are 4-14, and we live in the southeast so we’ve enjoyed an atypically warm winter! This year we’ve been enjoying warmer nights to look up at the winter constellations.
My kids are 6, 3, and 1. In the Winter, we like to build a fire and then cook dinner over it.
My daughter is in 6th grade and we are considering going the home school route next year. In the winter we love to cuddle and watch movies or experiment with cooking stews and soups.
