I find Queen Elizabeth II fascinating, thanks to “The Crown”. She’s the longest reigning British monarch! My 8-year-old loved reading “Who was Queen Elizabeth?” (the 1st, that is), and she would love to win this fun pack from Dover. We will both be watching the May wedding. Thanks for the giveaway!
Favourite historical person would be Shakespeare I think…but favourite royal would be Queen Elizabeth I. We will be watching the wedding. Have watched them all since Diana and Charles’s when I was a kid. My 7 year old is looking forward to it very much 🙂
I plan to watch the wedding with my children, it’s history in the making. While I love British History (all history really) I have great admiration for William Wilberforce and the stand he took for people who couldn’t fight for themselves!
I remember watching Lady Diana’s wedding, she is my favorite. Yes, I will be watching this enchanting royal wedding in May.
My favourites are Queen Victoria as I loved her dedication to her husband Prince Albert and also our current Queen Elizabeth.
I am most definitely watching the royal wedding, complete with tea and cake.
I know my girls would love to learn more about real life princesses!
Queen Victoria! I probably won’t watch the royal wedding this time.
Queen Victoria is my current favorite (thank you pbs) and yes, I will probably watch the royal wedding!
Queen Victoria is my favorite royal and, yes, I will probably watch the wedding.
Queen Elizabeth I or Princess Diana – it’s hard to choose. And you bet I’ll be watching the wedding!
I’m fascinated by Queen Victoria. I won’t be watching the wedding.
There are so many interesting people in British history, I don’t know if I can choose a favorite! Shakespeare is high on the list. My 9 year old son says his favorite is Queen Elizabeth. 🙂 We may watch the Royal Wedding, I think my oldest would love it. He loves weddings and the royal family so I’m sure he would be thrilled to watch. 🙂
Sir Walter Raleigh. I don’t care one bit about the current royal wedding. I’m very interested in the historical books, but you can keep the paper dolls of the modern royals for yourself. lol
As a little girl my favorite was Princess Diana, as a teenager my favorite was Winston Churchill, as an adult I love Queen Elizabeth II and King George VI. The struggles they went through were amazingly difficult, but their resolve to lead for their people and their personal sacrifice is greatly admirable. And yes, i will absolutely be watching the wedding!!
Princess Diana! and yes I hope to watch!
I love Kate, but I have so much respect for the Queen. She is a good lady. And I’m totally watching the royal wedding!
Beatrix Potter is my current favorite person in British History and we’ll have to see how May plays out, but of course I’ll catch a glimpse of the big day.
Does Doctor Who count? C.S. Lewis, Jane Austen, King James, J. K. Rowling, Elizabeth I & II….interesting people in history. Haven’t decided to watch the royal wedding.
I’ve always been intrigued by Henry VIII and his wives. And yes, I will probably watch the royal wedding.

British history is so fascinating, so it’s really hard to pick a favorite person! But, if I were pressed, I would have to say William Shakespeare. And yes, I’ll be watching the wedding. Excited about this giveaway!
My favorite person in British history would probably be Queen Victoria, especially after watching the mini-series on Masterpiece Theater. More than likely, I will not be watching the royal wedding.
Princess Diana and absolutely!
Of course we will be watching the wedding! Quite an exciting spring for royals with a baby and a wedding! I appreciate many people in England’s history. The current queen is an amazing person with genuine faith.
