My boys are 8 and 3 years old. We love to go hiking and camping, collecting materials for crafts (leaves, sticks, acorns, stones), foraging (they just love it when they know about edible plants and their friends don’t.) and working in our small garden.
My daughter is 4, and we love exploring the woods and backyard and building little houses with whatever we find. And collecting rocks. π
I like Oak Meadow and Simple Homeschool on facebook.
Ages 5.5, 3.5, and 1.5…hiking and nature walks!
Our two girls are 4 and 9. With the cold cold weather we’ve been having this year and being blessed to live on the shores of beautiful Georgian Bay, Canada we get to go for ‘moon’ walks on our beach. The Bay is completely frozen over so our little one says she loves to “walk on the ocean” where she knows she goes swimming every summer. Our older one runs around and discovers the most beautiful ice sculptures formed around the trees, rocks and shrubs dotting the shore line. She identifies mythical creatures in these frozen sculptures and together with her little sister they make up stories complete with characters, plot and story lines. They both feel as though they are on the moon and dig to find ‘yeti’ treasures buried deep in the snow and then try to moon walk (ie: jump high and land in the snow…not Michael Jackson π over the snow dunes. Though freezing cold (even too much for our big shaggy dog) the girls can stay out exploring forever. It’s only a cup of hot chocolate and marshmallows that brings them back down to earth and head home to warm up their toes.
My son will be 7 in a few weeks. We love spending time in the woods, playing in the dirt and hiking.

My Children are Trinity 10, Freddie 4, and Rebecca 1. We love to take walks at the park and look at the different trees. We have a park here that has lots of different Oak trees that were used during war time for many things and my children love that history behind them.
My boys are 6 and 4. We love to hike the dozens of beautiful trails here in northwest New Jersey and explore the many nearby rivers and creeks. Thanks for the opportunity.
8 & 10 year old boys – hiking outdoors and finding a treasure that demands further investigation.
My 9 & 4 year old kids love to go bird watching with our new monoculars, identification guide, and bird caller that we assembled for them as a Christmas present.
My kids are 7, 4 and 2! and they just love to be outside in nature. They love helping me in the garden…mostly digging up worms and trying to catch butterflies! we can’t wait for spring to get here!!
My boys are 6 and 3. This snowy winter our favorite outdoor activity is sledding. π

My kids are 10 and 5. Right now they love exploring creeks. We are anxiously awaiting spring.
My 7 and 4 year old boys LOVE riding their bikes in spring, summer, and fall. In winter, they spend hours building snow forts and planning ways to attack us with snowballs! And my 18-month girl does everything she possibly can to get outside with whomever will take her!!
