I’ve found Read for the Heart so helpful when it comes to discovering high-quality literature for my kids to read (without me having to preview everything first!)
I give it to Jonathan (age 9) and he browses through the pages, then comes back to me with a list of titles to request from the library. Like Amazon says, “Keeping this volume close at hand is like having a child’s librarian for a best friend.”
