My recommendations this week:

I don’t usually read home decorating books, but I am several chapters into The Nesting Place and loving it.

Far from superficial, it’s a much-needed reminder of how much influence our homes having over us and how important it is to spend time on them. And the photographs = beautiful!

Tears in my eyes after reading Henry’s Freedom Box this week…so hard to imagine what it was like for people at this time in history.

Our kids need to hear these stories of courage, perseverance, and freedom…and I need to hear them, too!

I wasn’t sure what to expect from A Little Way of Homeschooling since I’m not Catholic, but I found it an inspiring read (Don’t you love it when the right book reaches you at the right time?!)

It even made it to my small shelf of permanent books I keep & go back to again and again.

If your kids love Lego, now you can try out this service for FREE: Pley.com is a Lego rental service that lets you rent specific Lego sets without having to purchase them. (Think of it like Netflix for Lego!).

Rent a set for a month, send it back in a prepaid box, and have another show up at your doorstep. Just use the code “Simple” at checkout to get your first month free.

Look what came in the mail today, Mommy!” was announced in loud voices as they stomp (never quiet) inside…

Ahh, and this arts & crafts challenged mother breathes easier (& it’s eco-friendly, too!)

Blessings on you and yours this week…
