The TV show Reading Rainbow honestly changed my life as a child, so it made me happy to see this book release this week! It’s a sweet story designed to help little ones (ages 5-7) process and cope with fear and difficult experiences. A good title to check out if you’re in the midst of a family crisis.

Do you have littles who struggle with handwriting? I recently bought these pencil grips for my Elijah and they appear to have helped (plus he thinks the colors are cool!). I chose this style because of the really high Amazon reviews.

Looking to inspire your children to practice their cursive handwriting? I think this joke/riddle book looks so fun–definitely on my wish list to get for Trishna soon! You can copy the riddles and even cut/staple to make a mini-book out of it.

Have you ever tried out one of Artterro’s eco-friendly art kits? The kids and I have enjoyed the needle felting kit, and they also make ones for jewelry, bookmaking, dolls, journals, & even bubble wands. As the holidays approach, keep these in mind for your art-loving kiddos!

Such a fun new discovery for our homeschool with The World’s Most Fascinating Rock Collection delivered to our door! I loved collecting rocks as a kid, and this is a beautiful way to learn about & display them. Use the code SHS10 for a $10 discount on a year’s box if ordered by Nov 7th.

I loved their creative approach to the early years when my kids were younger.
