My recommendations this week:
Educating the Wholehearted Child was like water to a weary soul when it arrived on my doorstep many years ago, and I have gone back to its centered, steady wisdom again and again since that time.
Up next on our read-aloud list – this suspenseful World War II novel that takes place during the German occupation of France, in which 20 school children attempt to hide 10 Jewish children from the Nazis. A good pick for ages 10 and up.
If you find you struggle with perfectionism, you may find this wildly popular read incredibly freeing–as it has been for me recently. Isn’t it amazing when the right book reaches you at the right time?
