A few of my favorite things:
So few books on motherhood are written from a homeschooling perspective, which is why I ordered and inhaled this one back when I first heard of it years ago!
I needed its encouragement that it’s okay to have hard seasons, that it didn’t mean I was a failure, and that I could let go of guilt.
My daughter Trishna (12) brought this learning toy/tool with us to England, and shocked me by building an AM radio with it last week!
For kids ages 8 and up, I can’t think of a more fun way to practically introduce physics and electronics. A fantastic value for the money, these last for years and keep kids busy for hours.
If you have a teen who you’re trying to get engaged with reading, you must gift them a copy of this novel.
It’s a fantasy read that takes place in World War I London, and I adore the way the author weaves several classical literary works into the mystery itself!
Featured sponsors this week:
Raise your hand if you can’t stand clothes shopping? (Me, me!!) That’s why one of my favorite finds has been Stitch Fix, which has taken away the stress & overwhelm of searching for new clothes.
Instead they come to me each month, I keep & pay for anything I want and send the rest back–so easy!
It’s Homeschool Week over at Educents, which means even bigger sales on popular curricula like Life of Fred, Magic School Bus, lapbooks galore (I’m definitely buying this war package!), Alpha Omega, and several downloadable FREEBIES as well.
Definitely worth taking a peek at before the sale ends on Monday!
