Weekend homeschool links

June 2, 2017 //  by Jamie C. Martin

Favorite pic from my Facebook page this week
(my babes, my heart – 9 years ago!)

It’s the final countdown – A whopping 5,500 families have now signed up for our free Read the World Summer Book Club, which kicks off Monday!

Still a few days to register here if you’re interested.

Weekend homeschool links:

  • Kindness matters. For real.
  • Best educational YouTube channels for homeschoolers
  • Trying to determine if your child is ready to read?
  • Make a to DON’T do list
  • Summertime: A season to test out changes
  • A fun quiz about children’s books you can do with your kids!

I couldn’t wait to get started homeschooling when my kiddos were preschoolers, and just wish Artsy Startsy had been around back then!

I love its gentle introduction to the liberal arts & simplicity as a way to fall in love with learning together. Check out a sample week here; take 35% OFF with the code SPRUNG

The kids and I had such fun using “This Week in History” in our homeschool! You know those days when you have no energy to make learning meaningful at the breakfast table?!

I’d just click TWIH open to find dozens of links in multiple subjects; inevitably we’d find ourselves headed down a fun rabbit trail of learning.
