My recommendations this week:
I’ve been a big fan of Sarah Clarkson’s book “Read for the Heart” when it comes to choosing books for my little people, so I was excited to see that her new book, Caught Up in a Story, released this week.
It’s all about creating “storyformed” kids who believe they can one day be the heroes/heroines in our world – love this message!
Told partly in parable/story and partly in nonfiction, The Student Whisperer remains on my small, permanent shelf of homeschooling reads to go back to again and again. It’s an excellent choice for those looking to go deeper as we mentor our kids.
I’ve always been a sucker for learning about & studying personalities, and The Enneagram Made Easy has been helping me grasp an entirely new way to do so. I’ve had many a-ha moments about myself, my husband, and the kids as well.
