The most inspiring resources for your 2015-2016 homeschool year

This week I’m happy to be a contributing author to the 4th annual iHomeschool network ebook bundle sale–it’s a collection of over 100 homeschooling resources (a $754 value) that you can purchase at over 95% off – for only $25.

As one of the contributing authors to this year’s omnibus, I’ve had my bundle for a few weeks already (lucky me!), so I’ve been able to go through it and find the books and lectures I’m most interested in this year.

I know 100 homeschooling resources may seem a tad excessive, so it’s worth mentioning how I avoid ebook overwhelm.

Here’s what I did:

Inspiring homeschool links

First, I printed off a list of all the books in the bundle (you can do the same with this post below, or check out this gorgeous online catalog that lists them all!)

I went through it with paper and pen, making notes of the titles that sounded like they might be helpful and/or inspiring during our upcoming year.

With this year’s package, I had a list of 17 resources when I finished, which is only a small fraction of the entire bundle.

Yet the value of those 17 resources is still $175, making the whole bundle a steal of a deal at only $25!

After making my list I downloaded those 17 ebooks/mp3 files and added them to a folder on my desktop called 2015 Bundle Resources.

When I’m ready, I know exactly where to find them–and I don’t have to wade through the ones that aren’t a good fit right now. (In KonMari terms, I’m keeping the ones that spark joy for me or my babes!)

Now I can immediately begin to read on my laptop, print out resources, or email books to my Kindle (Yep, where available, Kindle-ready files come with your bundle at no extra charge).

If you’ve already planned out your upcoming homeschool year, you may not need these resources. The collection is an incredible deal, available this week only, but of course it isn’t right for everyone.
