Welcome to today’s giveaway–sponsored by Tania of Around the World Stories:
Are you looking for a way to inspire your kids to learn about the world? Around the World Stories creates original audio stories for kids that make learning about other cultures an unforgettable adventure.
Each week subscribers receive a 30-minute story told from the perspective of a child in another country, so young listeners learn how kids in other cultures live, play, learn, eat and celebrate.
Your kids will catch a cotton-tailed tulip thief and meet the king of the Netherlands. They’ll celebrate New Year’s Eve in Madrid and find a treasure map in Greece. They’ll race a Leprechaun in Ireland and help solve the case of Mozart’s missing violin in Austria.
“You can travel the world from the comfort of your family room, or kitchen table. We listen to these stories in the car, over lunch, before bedtime, and on crabby days and sick days. They never fail to bring a smile to my children’s faces.” – Caitlin C.
The stories are written for kids ages 5 to 12 and each includes a story guide with discussion points, recipes and activity ideas.
You can make an apple strudel after adventuring in the Alps one week and then make beautiful lavender soap after visiting Lacey’s lavender farm in the South of France the next week.
So many parents struggle with ways to inspire their kids to learn about the world, and they’re finding that just teaching dates, flag colors and names of major cities is not enough.
When children aren’t connected with the cultures they’re studying, learning often stops. Stories, on the other hand, engage the imagination and make lessons about life in another country an inspiring adventure.
“I absolutely LOVE these stories. The content is amazing and the stories are so original and engaging. They are absolute treasures. I love the lessons in each and the mix of culture, art, history and so many subjects. I am intrigued and connected to the characters.” — Holly K.
Europe Stories
Subscribers receive a new audio story each week in their inbox along with activity ideas, background, discussion topics and recipes related to the story and the country. Four stories are dedicated to each country.
Artists Around the World Stories
Also available is a fun 6-story set about important painters and artistic styles throughout history. Through this exciting series, listeners can travel back in time to meet Monet, Van Gogh, Picasso, Michelangelo, O’Keeffe and Kandinsky.
To follow our travels and stories, you can visit us on our Facebook page or Instagram or at Around the World Stories.

This would be a great edition to our afternoons! I have six children… 2, 4, 5, 8, 11, and 12. My husband’s mom is from Japan, and my maternal great-grandparents are from Slovenia. Naturally, I would be intrigued by Slovenia for my kids to learn more about. But I think the three oldest would love Austria since it’s hone to Mozart, and my little ones to Scandinavia because of Frozen the movie. Regardless, it all sounds like a brilliant way to expose the world to them.

We are missionaries in Ukraine and since my kids are still pretty little we haven’t traveled much in Europe yet (thus these stories would be perfect first exposure to places we hope to see in person). We are learning German and have lots of ancestry from there, we have friends that just moved to Finland and so my kids want to learn more about that country, as well. Currently my kids are 7, 5, and 11 months. We love audio books/stories and travelling the world through our imaginations! Also since there is almost no access to English language books here, audio learning is a great option for us (no weight to suitcases when we travel, and still screen-free). Thank you for sponsoring this giveaway.

But deep down I know we’re doing the right thing, and that God will supply all our needs according to the riches of His glory. That being that … we would love to learn about any country really, but if I were to choose it would be either scotland or Ireland. Such good hearted, friendly and noble people. They live in the most beautiful part of the world, no wonder! ????

I originally came here to enter to win the giveaway (which I just did), but saw this and decided to electronically touch base and introduce myself. We are a Basque family; my father immigrated from the Basque Country, Euskal Herria, from near Guernica. It would have pleased him so to know there is a parent out there wanting to teach her children about the Basque land. Usually we are the only Basques anyone has ever met.???? Best to you and your in your learning. I would like to recommend a book called “A Time We Knew”- a beautiful book of photographs of Euskal Herria.
