This would be a great edition to our afternoons! I have six children… 2, 4, 5, 8, 11, and 12. My husband’s mom is from Japan, and my maternal great-grandparents are from Slovenia. Naturally, I would be intrigued by Slovenia for my kids to learn more about. But I think the three oldest would love Austria since it’s hone to Mozart, and my little ones to Scandinavia because of Frozen the movie. Regardless, it all sounds like a brilliant way to expose the world to them.
My children are 13, 11, 10, 8, 4 and 1. I’m excited that this is a give-away open to international readers ! We live in Europê though, so we would be more interested about stories from another continent.
My kids are 8, 6, 4, and 1. What a fun way to learn geography! We sponsor two children from Chad and Kenya. My kids are interested in learning about where they live and what it’s like.
I have 3 children ages 7, 5, and 3. There are so many places we would love to learn about, but I think we’d particularly enjoy learning more about China.
I’m always so tempted by these stories. My kids are 3 and 7. I’m interested in learning more about Canada. It’s our closest neighbor, but we know very little about it!

I have 4 children aged 11, 8, 7 and 4. I think we would most like to hear stories about Scotland and Ireland where our ancestors were born. We have always wanted to travel there!

Hello! My kids are 16,15,12,10, and 5. We would love to visit England and Ireland, also Armenia – child #2 is adopted from that country!
We are missionaries in Ukraine and since my kids are still pretty little we haven’t traveled much in Europe yet (thus these stories would be perfect first exposure to places we hope to see in person). We are learning German and have lots of ancestry from there, we have friends that just moved to Finland and so my kids want to learn more about that country, as well. Currently my kids are 7, 5, and 11 months. We love audio books/stories and travelling the world through our imaginations! Also since there is almost no access to English language books here, audio learning is a great option for us (no weight to suitcases when we travel, and still screen-free). Wow – this sounds like it would be a great addition to our homeschool! Our boys are 1, 4, 9, and 11 so I am always looking for things that will engage everyone at the same time. We’ve been talking about the Northern Lights so the story about Sweden would be perfect!

My daughter is 4. We are using Build Your Library for kindergarten next year and this will fit so well with it. We are tied for the country most interested between Turkey and Denmark.
My kids are 11, 9 and soon to be six. Hard to choose a country. JAPAN. I am from Uruguay and have traveled throughout South America, the USA, a little bit of Canada, parts of Europe and Japan. Beautiful places that the Lord has made.

I originally came here to enter to win the giveaway (which I just did), but saw this and decided to electronically touch base and introduce myself. We are a Basque family; my father immigrated from the Basque Country, Euskal Herria, from near Guernica. It would have pleased him so to know there is a parent out there wanting to teach her children about the Basque land. Usually we are the only Basques anyone has ever met.???? Best to you and your in your learning. I would like to recommend a book called “A Time We Knew”- a beautiful book of photographs of Euskal Herria.

I have 5 children whom I homeschool- ages 5,7,9,12, and 13. We do a book club focused around Jamie Martin’s Give your Child the World book, with another family of 3 homeschooled kids. Getting together weekly about the world through books and stories t is one of our favorite times each week.

Hi, my daughter is 11yrs old. We live in Australia and love hearing stories about our own country and particularly about the Indigenous culture of this land. Stories are always so interesting when they have been generated from another country, as the stories are sourced from unique places, that we may not have heard or read before.

My 3 spunky ones are 6 (girl), 4 tomorrow (boy) and 19 months (boy). I would most like to learn about Germany or Austria because my grandmother was born in Germany and moved here around 9 and my grandfather was born in Austria and moved here around the same age. Neither are alive anymore, but I’ve always had a passion to learn German and teach my kids.
My kids are 12,10, and 8. We would love some stories about Germany and the Netherlands, because I have lived both places and would love to share my love of these two cultures. Then we would enjoy learning more about everywhere else as well.

My kids love to learn about different countries and can spend a lot of time to listen to the stories. They are still young – 7, 5 and 2.
My kids love audio books. They are 11, 9, 7, 5, & 3. We would love to learn more about China since we live close (Taiwan) and plan to visit there in the next few years.
Ages 14, 11, 4 and 2. This would be great as it is hard right now to read stories aloud for all the kids. We could listen together and then draw at the same time. I think Sweden or Italy would be our first choice since they are in our heritage.

Our kids are 8, 6, and 4. We had so much fun traveling to Wyoming for the Total Solar Eclipse in August 2017 and seeing the National Parks. Places we have on our list of where we would love to explore are Scotland, England, Greece, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Romania, France, Japan, Taiwan, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and Thailand. Each of these countries holds some form of significance, whether it is a family member who lived overseas, a book we have read, a movie we have watched, an interest in a topic specific to this country, or the food of the region. If my kids were to pick, they would probably put Romania top on the list.

We’ve also relied heavily on Give Your Child the World as well as Little Passports. We would love to win this! Today my daughter was acting out a backpacking trip around the world and she ended her trip in France because she loves all things about Paris. So I think we would most enjoy learning about France!
