Welcome to today’s giveaway–sponsored by Christopherus Homeschool!

From Kelly at Christopherus:

“Human beings are beings of thinking, of feeling and of willing. We need to think, consider and understand the world; we need to warm our thoughts with compassion and love; and we need to act in the world with clarity and purpose.

Waldorf education seeks to foster qualities in the child so that as she nears adulthood, her capacities of thinking, feeling and willing are strengthened so that she can find her place in the world.

We at Christopherus are dedicated to providing the resources and support you need to bring Waldorf education into your home.

We provide full curriculums through grade 5 and FREE rough guides for 6th-8th grades.

Our monthly newsletter includes news about publications and materials on the website as well as links to articles on the Homeschool Journey blog.

Aloha! My daughter is almost 4 years old and is attending a preschool here in Kona, HI while I work full time. I’ve looked in to the Waldorf charter school that we have here and love it but it is such a long drive. My other option is to stay home & homeschool next year. I am very excited about this option and was hoping there was an amazing Waldorf home school eduction curriculum out there, so glad I stumbled upon this one! Mahalo!

These books would help me, as the mother, to continue to build a foundation for my childrens education. My kids are 4 1/2 yrs old, 3 yrs old, 14mo., and one on the way. I’m really interested in the holistic approach of this curriculum as well as the way imagination runs through it. As someone with a confirmed eclectic/do-it-yourself philosophy of life and education, I LOVE the fact that these resources provide a unifying element (especially the curriculum overview) but don’t require committing to one package curriculum to be useful. Since we’ll be starting formal education of some kind this fall with my oldest, this would be incredibly useful in our home!

This would be amazing! My kids are 4 and 2. My plan is to use Christopherus for first grade and I have been wanting to buy the overview already. I have the “Kindergarten for your 3 to 6 year old” and I love the way Donna thinks that there is no official schooling needed up till 1st grade. I have chosen to go for Donna’s curriculum, because she used to be a teacher in a Waldorf school, she homeschools her kids AND she knows how it can be to struggle as a mother. I feel very connected to her and therefore her curriculum.

    Girls7 & 9
I have been homeschooling for awhile and this curriculums has repeatedly caught my eye. I love the aspect of nature teaching and natural materials and drawing and being creative including music, movement, and many other art forms from 2D to 3D. I have not been able to afford any of the curriculums bit implement some of the same philosophy’s into our homeschool day!

My kids are 2, 6 and 7 and we have been part of a Waldorf community for the past four years. We are doing a lot of waldorf inspired activities at home, centering on festivals and daily rhythms. I appreciate the materials from 0-7 years and would really like to understand the curriculum for the upper grades. I am coming from a very different teaching background, especially in teaching literacy and science, and also am on a journey along with my kids to do things more meaningfully!
