I had no idea I was a fan of comics until I found this series last year. I thought it was the coolest idea, history through comics!, and even got the kids an entire set for Christmas.

Since then, historical comics have become a staple in our home. At least one of my kids has one in hand daily, and they’ve learned so much from them.

Like graphic novels, they’re wonderful for visual learners and/or those who struggle with reading.

So I was pretty excited to see that this week’s Homeschool Omnibus includes a set of three more comics to add to our collection: one Bible comic, one history comic, and one classic literature comic from Comic Books for Kids:

The first comic included in the Omnibus contains the story of Daniel and Samson, the second explores the Revolutionary Way through the eyes of a drummer boy named Jerry, and the last comic introduces the classic Gulliver’s Travels.
