The readers who come to Simple Homeschool are looking for both inspiration and practical homeschooling help. Many of them have been reading the blog regularly for over five years now–during that time they’ve come to trust me and the recommendations/resources I share in this space.
Beginning in 2016, I plan to create a listing of curricula that readers can consult when they have a particular need in their homeschool.
This listing will be highlighted in the header of the blog in a drop down box where it says: New? Start Here:
Since September I’ve been testing the concept with a “coming soon” page there. It has become one of the top visited pages in that area, which tells me this is a resource readers will be interested in!
There will also be a button in the sidebar below-the-fold (see below) that links to the curriculum directory, so readers can come to it from multiple avenues. I plan to point readers there on a regular basis from social media and other posts as well.

What’s included in a listing
Each curriculum directory listing will include a 50 word text description, a link to up to two pages on your site, and a small version of your logo.
Initially listings will be organized alphabetically, but as the number of listings increase I’ll create separate pages by category/subject (History, All-in-One, Electives, Foreign Language, Math, Additional Resources, etc.) to make it easier for readers to navigate and find what they’re looking for.

The cost
The rate for an entire year’s listing in the 2016 Simple Homeschool Curriculum Directory will be $480 ($40/month, paid in one installment).
