Girl books that boys love, boy books that girls love
We are practicing our reading in prep for first grade!
My boys are 8 and 6 and their biggest love this summer is surfing and playing in the ocean. When we skip the beach and stay home they are always in some imaginative world slaying something, reading with me or playing Minecraft. So I would say they are passionate about having the freedom to play and dream.
I have a 5 year old and an 8 year old. As we are in the middle of winter in NZ, my boys want to learn to ski, make candles and play with logic puzzles!
This summer we’re playing in the creek and learning to knit.
My kids are 6 and 3. This summer, they love finding and studying backyard bugs!
I like both Educents and Simple Homeschool on Facebook.
My son is 5 and he loves math! He’s also memorizing the Gettysburg Address.
The girls are 8, 10 and 12. It’s a summer of writing songs and playing music.
My boys are 3 and 5 and the 5 yr old is currently learning to read 🙂
My kids are 5 and 4 and are into swimming and playing at the park.
My kids are 12, 10, and 5 and my youngest is passionate about learning to read.
I have four 6, almost 5, almost 3 and 1. Eldest boy is passionate about learning everything there is to be known under the sun, and lives for science experiments – this week we made a homemade compass out of a sewing needle. His little sister wants to learn to sew clothes for her dolls, and the next one dearly wants to learn ‘how to cook supper’. They all love Life of Fred!
My kids are 6, 4 and 7 months. This summer we are working on morning routine.
This summer…my older is finishing building a pond in the backyard and developing his turning (woodworking) skills, and the younger is focused on violin and ancient Rome. We LOVE Life of Fred!
My daughter is 5 and is passionately learning about marine mammals. Luckily we live in FL on the gulf coast so we’ve been able to give her plenty of observational experience.
My kids are 5, 3, and 10 months. This summer we are passionate about chess, bugs, and walking, respectively.
4 and 6. We just received the first Story of the World audio book in the mail and my daughter is begging me to listen to it constantly! So I guess she’s passionate about learning ancient history!
Love it
I have 2 eight year olds. One loves hermit crabs and tadpoles. The other is learning computer programming.
My kids are 8 and 5 and are completely obsessed with bugs and frogs this summer!!
We have 2 children left at home, ages 10 & 9, both boys. They are both passionate about outdoor activities and reading “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”. My 10 y/o loves Minecraft and my 9 y/o is passionate about Civil War History.
My daughter is 4 1/2 and is really enjoying making nature scene dioramas this summer!
I like both on Facebook.
I have also “liked” and saved Simple Homeschool and Educents on FB! Thanks!
My son turns 5 this month, and he has spent his summer learning about snakes (eek!). He also learned how to swim due to all our trips to the pool.
