Weekend giveaway: Great Homeschool Conventions (2 winners!)

//  by Jamie C. Martin

Great Homeschool Conventions
This giveaway has ended–thanks for your interest!

Welcome to this weekend’s giveaway–hosted by Great Homeschool Conventions!

Great Homeschool Conventions will hold its 2014 regional conventions in South Carolina (March), Ohio (April), and California (June). Each convention features a huge (and I mean huge!) Homeschool Curriculum exhibit hall.

This year’s featured speakers include Dr. Benjamin Carson, Heidi St. John, Dr. Thomas Woods, Dr. Kathy Koch, Gianna Jessen, Dr. Jay Wile, Cathy Duffy, Jim Weiss, Steve Demme, and many more.

When I attended and spoke at last year’s convention in Ohio, I was truly impressed with the professionalism and organization that had gone into the event. The number of sessions to choose from meant something for everyone no matter your needs.

Attendees get to choose from hundreds of encouraging, equipping, information-packed workshops…selecting those that are most applicable to YOUR homeschooling efforts. There is also an optional children’s program and a special track for teens–real faith for the real world.

You can sign up here to receive GHC’s email newsletter with updates and announcements and to be notified of early bird discounts.

    Our daughter is 8. We’d love to go to the convention since we’ve never attended one before. I’d like to look at the different curriculum offerings so that we can make an educated decision for next year. By April, we’ll probably also need the encouragement to keep going. 🙂

    My kids are 2yo and 5mo, and we would like to attend because we are overwhelmed with the idea of homeschool, and we would like to learn as much as we can before it is time to make the decision.

    My kids are ages 6, 5, 5 and 3. I would like to attend this homeschool convention…because I have never attended one before. I am a fulltime missionary in the Philippines. I have spent over 4 years here without returning to the USA. I’ll be returning to the USA in December for 1 year. I started my homeschooling experience completely on my own without any help and without any conventions to glean information from. It is a dream of mine to attend a homeschool convention while I am in the USA to learn as much as I can before I return to the Philippines.

    My kids are 6, 4 and 1. This is my first year of homeschooling, using the Charlotte Mason method. Would love to get encouragement and ideas from this convention, especially as I navigate through my recent separation and become a single mom.

    My boys are 9, 7, 5, and 1. It’s been a fun year. I would like to attend the convention in SC because we are in our 4th year homeschooling and I still can’t get things together. I feel like a new homeschooler always.

    Thank you for having this great opportunity,
    Michelle

    My twins are 8yo. I’d really like to attend one of these bigger conferences b/c the ones near us are don’t pull such fabulous speakers in the numbers these do! (Plus, I can go visit one of my best friends too!)
