Welcome to today’s giveaway–sponsored by Great Homeschool Conventions:

Great Homeschool Conventions will hold this year’s regional conventions in Texas (February), South Carolina (March), Ohio (April) and California (June).

Each convention features a huge (and I mean huge!) Homeschool Curriculum exhibit hall.

This year’s featured speakers include Dr. Benjamin Carson, Heidi St. John, Michael Gurian, Cathy Duffy, Jim Weiss and many more.

GHC.5

When I attended and spoke at the 2013 convention in Ohio, I was truly impressed with the professionalism and organization that had gone into the event.

Attendees get to choose from hundreds of encouraging, equipping, information-packed workshops…selecting those that are most applicable to YOUR homeschooling efforts. There is also an optional children’s program and a special track for teens–real faith for the real world.

This year’s Great Homeschool Conventions will offer:
  • Outstanding Speakers – including Dr. Benjamin S. Carson, M.D., (TX) sponsored by WORLD News Group.
  • 100s of Information-Packed Workshops, including Homeschooling 101, Special Needs and Gifted, Parenting, and Classical Education specialty tracks

GHC.4

In addition, Great Homeschool Conventions will have activities for parents, children and the whole family, such as:

  • High-energy Children’s Conference, hosted by Giant Cow Ministries
  • Special session Thursday evening with Holocaust Survivors, Inge Auerbacher (TX, SC, CA) or Dr. Henry Fenichel (OH) – sponsored by Samaritan Ministries
  • Special session Thursday evening with attorney, former homeschooling mom, and pro-life advocate, Rebecca Kiessling, – sponsored by Personhood Ohio
  • Mom’s Night Out PJ Party with Heidi St. John, sponsored by Mardel
  • Family Comedy Night with Bob Smiley, sponsored by Sonlight
  • Special Session Saturday afternoon with Dennis Prager (TX, CA)
  • An Evening with Benjamin Franklin (SC)
  • An evening of inspiration for all homeschooling families with Jacob and Kristine Barnett (OH, CA)
  • Plus much, much more!

GHC.3

One Simple Homeschool reader will win:

A Family Pass to the Winner’s Choice of 2015 Conventions, with up to four tickets to FAMILY COMEDY NIGHT WITH BOB SMILEY and tickets to the REAL FAITH FOR THE REAL WORLD TEEN TRACK, valued up to $100.

You can choose from conventions in:

We “officially” started homeschooling in July. (unofficially, since our son was born)
I would probably pick Cincinnati, OH. I think it’s the closest. 🙂

My oldest is turning 15 soon and we’ve been at it since he turned 5.. So this is our 10th year. And I would have to choose Cinncinnatti, Ohio as that is the closest to me, yet its still over 7 hours away.

We’ve been homeschooling for 8 years now. Cincinnati is the closest location for us, but we’re planning a late winter trip to TX, mixing music ministry with visits to our friends and my hubby’s alma mater, Arlington Baptist College, so Ft. Worth might work too. That way we’d get to see Dr. Carson speak!

I just started this year. I have a 7th grader. I would be closest to SC convention.
