Our homeschool could use a vacation in some warmer weather. Seriously.
After 18 years of homeschooling, and faced with one very resistant highschooler, plus a 6th grader who is eager for my time and attention, yet always seems to be “put on the back burner” due to the challenges and busyness of everyday life, as well as the heartache of homeschool burnout, I am thirsting for a boost in creativity, motivation, and support. Attending the conference in Fort Worth would be the perfect nutrition for my hungry soul.
I just need to learn about homeschooling in general, we start next year!
Our homeschool needs a boost in my creativity level. I teach our 10 year old daughter and sometimes get in the habit of just going through the motions.

Our homeschool could use a boost in staying home! 🙂 We’ve been ‘on the go’ since December and I would love for us to just be home and have a more normal schedule for a while.
Also I like GHC and Simple Homeschool on facebook. 🙂 I would really love to win this giveaway…I’m hoping to go to the Texas convention but haven’t figured out if I can fit it in my budget yet.

My son is starting kindergarten this year, so the boost I need is a solid direction and organization!
It would be nice to win this packet for me and my family. We have never attended a homeschool convention ever. This year we look forward to attending the one in CA God willing.
I liked both Great Homeschool Conventions and Simple Homeschool! 🙂
My homeschool needs a boost of confidence right now! I am in my first “real” year of homeschooling my children. We are preparing to move out of a very homeschool-rich area and don’t know what type of support we will find in our new community. I was thrilled to see one of these conventions is being offered in Ohio, a couple of hours from where we are headed! I hope to connect with other local homeschoolers there.
I really could use some insight about how to better teach my son with dyslexia and two other kids with ADHD! Sometimes I feel so inadequate:(
We began homeschooling partly due to a desire to take a one month mission trip to Niger, Africa. Within weeks of our planned departure ten individuals were killed and 70 churches burned. After much prayer and seeking wise counsel, we have decided not to go at this time. So, in addition to being in a winter funk, we are also disappointed that this awesome trip we’ve been planning will not happen at this time. We could use a boost!
