My kids are 14, 11, 9, 3, and 5 months. To be honest, the kitchen is my space, and cooking is my time to enjoy quiet and contemplation. I’d like to involve the kids in cooking more, but the few times I’ve tried have been so messy and stressful! Maybe somethylike this would help structure how the kids are involved.

I home school my 11 year old son and my 9 year old daughter. We enjoy our kitchen time every day. Whether we are making simple breakfast each morning, or a bigger meal for our Family Dinners on Sundays, kitchen time is always a very exciting and enjoyable time for us to share. We like to make egg based dishes, casseroles, pasta, and desserts, like cookies and pies. Yum! ♡

6,7,9 and 11. We love cooking individual things together. I know confusing. Let me elaborate, pita bread pizzas or boiled in a baggie omelettes. Sometimes we personalize for ourselves, sometimes we draw names and cook for each other (hopefully you’ve been nice to the person who draws your name. Lol.) Tea party dinners (horderves and a carpet picnic) are always a favorite too.
