Our kids are 7, 5, and 1. We listen to audio books EV-ER-Y-WHERE! My oldest, especially, adores story in every way. And when we travel, I am especially fond of audio books.

It certainly gave us a platform for discussing other topics and increased their vocabulary. I have been a big advocate of audio books with my friends who have younger kids.

My children are 6,5,3 and 10 months old. We listen to audio books when were sitting at the dinner table because everyone is quietly eating and paying attention to the stories being read.
We love listening to stories while drawing, doing all sorts of art, making stuff from Lego and other construction toys or doing crafts. My two are 7 and 10. Excited we can enter as usually can’t as we’re not in US 🙂

Liked both!!! Have been a fan of Simple Homeschool and Sparkle Stories for a long time. My kids ages 7, 5, 2 listen to audio stories and audio books in the car and for afternoon quiet times. If they’re really into a story sometimes they’ll get their blankets and pillows and spend an entire Saturday sprawled around the CD player listening!
My girls are 5, 3 and newborn. We love to listen while we are at the house playing and drawing and also in the car, especially on longer drives.

my youngest, aged 4, just discovered Martin and Sylvia this week! winning this would be perfect timing! At the end of a long homeschooling day, it’s lovely to lay down together, with a snuggle and a sparkle story.

We’ve started enjoying audio stories in the car, they help long drives become much more enjoyable, and my hubby and I find we enjoy them a lot, too!
I also like to play audio stories whilst the kids are doing art, lego, puzzles etc.. That way were killing 2 birds with one stone for homeschooling!

11, 9, 2 and 3 months. We listen in the car, but now the older boys like to listen on their own devices, which is hard since all we have is a CD player for them to use. We usually get CD’s from the library. A Sparkle story app would be neat.

What a lovely giveaway. We all adore SS! My 7 and 3.5 year old listen mostly in the kitchen during meal prep or arts and crafts time. Also love them in the car or for quiet time during home days.

Our favourite librarian introduced the kids to audio books a couple of years ago. My children are 11,9 & 7 and they love listening to audiobooks at bedtime. They will also put them on while they are playing in their rooms.
My son is 6, and we listen to audiobooks everywhere! We utilize them whenever we aren’t able to crack open a book – while we’re cooking in the kitchen, cleaning up the house, or running errands in the car. I find that they really help us to enjoy things more. My son doesn’t remember sorting through the lego’s that were dumped on the floor earlier in the day – he remembers the story he was listening to while he did it.
My boys are 5, 10 and 12. Our favorite place to listen to audio books is on our way to visit our cousin in Florida. It helps pass the time, we visit each other several times a year. We also like to listen to audio books anytime we are running errands or for longer drives. We just recently started listening to audio books, and really wish we had done it sooner!
