We have been enjoying Sparkle Stories very much in our home. Sometimes, bedtime can get a little tricky with 5 young kids when my husband isn’t home. These stories are lovely and make the night time transition calm and quick!

My five kids range from 16 down to 6. Favorite story, hands down, is Mr. Willowby’s Christmas Tree. But could I ever stop with one story? It’ll be hard, because we have a ton of them!

My boys are 9, 8 and 7. They LOVE Sparkle Stories Junkyard Tales! Their favourite Christmas story (randomly picked from our many favourites!) is Mortimers Christmas Manger by Karma Wilson and Jane Chapman. We always read it the night we set up our nativity sets.
My kids are 7, 3, and 4 months. They have many favorites but have recently enjoyed reading different tellings of A Christmas Carol. They also enjoy the stories they hear from the bible for our Jesse Tree each year.

My kids are 6 & 9 and their fave holiday story is The Miracle of the First Pointsettia by Joanne Oppenheim, illustrated by Fabian Negrin, from Barefoot Books. There is so much magic and spirit in this book and the pictures are so very beautiful. They look forward to bringing it out with the decorations each December.

Our boys are four and six. During the festive holiday season we read Christmas In The Forest by Jan Wahl. A lovely simple book written in the late sixties with beautifully detailed drawings. A holiday staple!

My son is 9 and we don’t celebrate the holidays at all, so no holiday stories!
My boys are 5, 7, and 10. It’s so hard to pick a favorite holiday story, but one they love is The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.
My kids are 5 and almost 3 and currently they think “Tacky’s Christmas” is hilarious! 🙂 We also love “Hurry, Hurry, Have You Heard” and “Christmas for Ten”

My children are 8, 6, and 8 mos. Our favorite Christmas picture book is currently anything by Jan Brett, and we are also enjoying reading “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” as a read-aloud. We also LOVE Sparkle Stories. Thanks for a great giveaway!
