  8. My kids are 10 and 8. I love this package and have wanted it for a while. I want all the books on their website :-), but the budget does not allow for it. I love reading about different methods to help my kids love to learn and also become leaders who think for themselves. It’s the implementation of all the ideas I have read that is the trouble.

  9. My daughters are six, four, and four months. My husband read “A Thomas Jefferson Education” before we had children, and thrust it into my hands saying “YOU HAVE TO READ THIS!” I did, and continue to go back to it. 12. My children are 11, 7, and 1. My family and I LOVE the teachings of the DeMilles. We’ve heard Oliver speak, live, a number of times on subjects such as freedom, being a world-changer, finding the genius in everyone, and education. You could say it was where we got inspired for the very first time to look into the idea of homeschooling! (The TJed facebook group is actually how I discovered this website!) Needless to say, we think this package would be so cool to have. (And, I’ve already liked the Simple Homeschool and TJed pages for FOR-E-VER now.) 😉

  13. My kids are 23, 7, 5, 2 and 1. Love Simple Homeschool and am so blessed to have discovered TJEd recently! 24. I like both on facebook.

  25. Chris Clark says:

I have already been considering TJed. My kids are 4 and 6 and is love to set up a mentoring relationship right from the start of our schooling so they can really grow as self directed learners.

  30. Hi Jamie,
My children are 9,8,6, and 4 years old.
The sheer number of resources appeals to me about this package! I incline to TJEd and love your site. My daughter is also transitioning phases so it would be nice to read about it. Mostly, the education that is also offered for parents is lovely. Option 2 – love having a book in my hands.

  31. Ashley Waugh says:

My kids are 5 1/2 (we’re in the middle of kindergarten now) and 17 months. I am so intrigued by this program after researching some of it! Part of our goal of homeschooling is not just learning to read and write (and everything else) but to raise up independent leaders who can make a difference in this world!

  32. My kids are 7 and 9 and I have always enjoyed your posts on TJED, so I’m interested in learning more!

  33. Savannah Lewis says:

My daughter is seven, but only for ten more days! We will be starting third grade at home in a few weeks. I would love to win The Simple Homeschool Bundle because I believe there’s always room for improvement and I know this is a great resource for us. Good luck everyone, and thank you Jamie!

  35. Hannah Costa says:

    Hi!
My kiddos are ages 7 and 8. I think this is an awesome way to sneak in different facts and experiments into your day! This would be a great addition to our eclectic homeschooling style. It would mix things up for us and give my kids a wider span of info than our normal
Curriculum. Plus takes the guess work out of it for mom, and who doesn’t love that??! Hahaha

  36. Wendy Anderson says:

My son loves to learn about Amercian history (even though we are Canadian). I appreciate that you re sensitive to each child’s learning style. That is the art of homeschooling:)

  39. Aamira Teresa Rollins says:

I work as a home school Sate Evaluator, and my kids include my own children (4), and grandchildren (5) as well as the Community Children of Home Schooled,d which are between 30-55 kids or groups. This resource would be very useful as often my homeschooling do not have money for materials and I have established a lending library for short term use, and we rotate the use of the materials. So to have this exhaustive resource s part of our curriculum would be a gem for us as it would add excellent resources to the library as well as encourage the parents that can afford to purchase curriculum materials. Please consider us as we endeavor to support learning for all rich or poor! Thanks!

Our boys are 8 and 9 and we love the Today in History.

  44. My kids are 16, 11 and 7. I am really intrigued by TJed as my goal is to raise children who have a lifelong love for learning. This Week in History looks like an amazing resource and a great place to begin! Thanks so much for the giveaway!

  45. I’ve always loved many of the ideas in TJEd and have most what’s in the homeschool bundle. My kids are 8, 5, and 3 and I would love the mentoring in the classics and day in history. I LOVE history and lit. I may use these more than my kids ;).

  46. And, I like both on FB! 🙂

  47. Jana Kleven says:

My homeschool age kids are 18,15,12,9 and 6 and I would love to learn and read more about Thomas Jefferson education. Thank you!

  48. Delight M. says:

My kids are 8, 7, 4, 4, 2, and 3 months and I would love both options, but since I already have a lot of the TJED books I would go with option #1. The week in history sounds awesome!

  49. Delight M. says:

    I liked both Facebook pages!

  50. Jordan Best says:

My kids are 5, 3 and 8 months. My oldest is an extremely asynchronous learner and I’m struggling to find history for him. He also prefers for everything to be experienced instead of just read so this sounds like it could be a good fit!!

  51. Jordan Best says:

    Also liked on Facebook!

  52. My children are 7 & 2. I think tjed sounds like the perfect fit for my family.

  55. SUZANNE RYERSON says:

My kids are 7, 9, 11, and 13. We would love option 1. We begin every day with reading, and I would love to tie in history!

  68. My kiddos are 14, 12 and 9. I would love to try out the “This Week in History” component of this package.

  69. I liked both pages on FB!

  70. My kiddos are 11 and 14. I have been interested in trying the TJE approach. I’m fairly new to homeschooling and having something to guide us once in a while would help me feel supported and on track when things get challenging. My older one is going to a local high school this year, and I think this would help us connect her to our homeschool by having a topic to discuss with both kids.

  71. zekesmom10 says:

I have three left at home, all under 12. I’d love this week in history and the MIC archive.

  72. My child is 15 and this curriculum has always interested me, but it didn’t fit in our budget. It sounds wonderful. I would love option 2. I also liked on Facebook. Thank you!

  73. Angie Zarzana says:

    I have three sons; 8, 6, and 2 🙂
Though I love all the aspects of this program, looking at our children and really teaching to them right where they are at so that it is engaging to them, I really like the Dad’s bundle! We just moved and Dad is busier then ever at his new job. I think this would be way to engage him with what we are learning and help the boys feel more like Dad is engaged with them too!

  89. Betsy Harbaugh says:

My children are 9,7,4,2 and 3months. This is our first year to homeschool but I have been eyeing the TJE website and products for over a year. I have always believed strongly in “vocation,” and the TJE philosophy (and tools) “an education to match your mission” will help me to live out my own vocation and assist my children in finding and flourishing in theirs.

  90. My kids are 9, 7, and 3 and we live in Central Asia. I really like connecting multiple subjects. It helps make them more relevant. I also want to start bringing in some U.S. history as we’ve spent lots of time on ancient civilizations and learning about other countries (loving “Give Your Child the World”!). But my kids don’t know a lot about their own passport country and how all these countries’ stories intersect.

  110. Bethlehem says:

My kids are 11, 14, and 15. I would love to try the bundle. I keep coming back to TJed when searching for a new plan. Every day my kids begrudgingly do as little school as possible. I am on a constant search for something to inspire them. Something that would help them actually like learning. The grumpy teens every day is tiring and so sad for a mama who loves to read and learn so much. I already like simple homeschool on fb.
