Weekend homeschool links

July 16, 2016 //  by Jamie C. Martin

Weekend homeschool links
One of my favorite things this summer has been seeing how you guys have been using and enjoying Give Your Child the World in your homes and with your families.

Thanks to Daniela of Arkevita.com, the book even made an appearance among the ruins of Pompeii:

To make sure you didn’t miss any of the other highlights from Europe week of the book club, pop over to take a peek at Sarah Mackenzie’s recap.

And I’ll see you back here on Monday as we take in the sights of North America together–one book at a time. Remember, it isn’t too late to join us!

Weekend homeschool links:

  • Letting go is hard to do
  • How leadership education is changing our homeschool
  • On baking bread and slow days
  • Reader Spotlight: A mother’s hopes
  • To share w/ kids: Happy trees and Bob Ross bingo – pair this with the show now on Netflix!

One of my favorite offerings from Dover Publications is their collection of historical discovery kits (like the one here!) that combine living books with activities.

They have kits covering the Revolutionary & Civil Wars, the Wild West, WWII and more–use code WHAY for 25% OFF their entire store!
