Weekend homeschool links

January 20, 2017 //  by Jamie C. Martin

Steve and I had the unbelievable chance to celebrate his 40th birthday in the beautiful (& warm) Caribbean this week!

Has your family signed up for the Heal the World Book Club yet? We’ll be kicking things off on February 1st and it would be such an honor to have you join us!

This will be a low-key commitment, and even if you can participate one month but not the others you’re still invited. I think this will be a life-changing opportunity for our kids; details and registration form here!

Weekend homeschool links:

  • My 2017 word of the year: Home
  • Books can’t change the world
  • 7 things saving my sanity as a work-at-homeschooling mom
  • Homeschool mom encouragement: Favorite posts
  • Fun to share with kids :: Massive triple spiral domino design

Have you ever taken a peek at All About Reading or All About Spelling?

These popular homeschooling programs provide “open and go” lesson plans that are multi-sensory and based on the Orton-Gillingham approach, a method that has transformed language arts for many homeschool families.

Are you a fan of Five in a Row? If so you might love Ivy Kids! Both feature unit studies around classic kids’ books, but Ivy Kids SENDS the book & ALL the supplies you’ll need each month.

It’s like PreK/K in a box, with ways to adapt for ages 3-8. Get 20% OFF your 1st kit with code IVY20
