Absolutely I’m watching the royal wedding! And while I don’t know if she’s my favorite I’m going through a Queen Victoria phase right now because of the Amazon series.

I am not planning on watching the wedding at this moment in time. My favorite person in British history would be Mary Queen of Scots. I love how her history fed into British history.
My favorite person in British history is probably John Bunyan, although not royalty his work still impacts hundreds of people today.
No, I won’t be watching the wedding but I will be reading and looking at the pictures from the event afterwards.
My favorite British historical figure is Julian of Norwich. We will watch the royal wedding May.
Queen Elizabeth, but my oldest son would definitely say King Arthur. With the time difference, I doubt that we’ll watch it live, but probably some later coverage.
I am learning more about British history from the tv series The Crown (and Googling to see if the events in the series are accurate) than I ever knew before! Queen Elizabeth is amazing!!! My daughter, who is 8, will be over the moon about the royal wedding!

I will for sure be watching the wedding! I watched Prince Charles & Princess Diana’s wedding on VHS over & over & over as a little girl. 🙂 While I love reading about Tudor & Victorian England, I think Elizabeth II’s reign of quiet faithfulness has been so inspiring and gracious. We recently read about the mystery surrounding the two princes in the tower back in the Middle Ages, and we’re fascinated! We will most definitely be watching the royal wedding but not sure it can be as great as William and Kate!

My favorite person from British history is William Shakespeare, but my daughter dressed up as Queen Elizabeth I for Halloween this year. We likely will not watch the event in real time, but will happily indulge in news coverage after the fact.
Yes! I will be watching the royal wedding. My favorite British historical figures are King Henry Vlll and his six wives. He was absolutely awful, but fascinating. I can’t get my hands on enough historical fiction about him and his wives.
My favorite historical British figure was King George VI. He is so underrated and held such virtues. We will not be watching the wedding on May 19th live but we will cover the wedding in current events!

Queen Elizabeth II is definitely my favorite. She has had such a long and interesting reign! I will definitely watch the royal wedding. As a little girl, I watched Princess Diana and Prince Charles’ wedding, and I’ve loved the royal family ever since!

Well, when I was a little girl, I was pretty sure I was going to marry Prince William. ???? But I loved Meghan Markle before she started dating Prince Harry, so I think she probably beats Wills out.
We will watch the highlights of the wedding. I love royal weddings, I still remember watching Princess Di’s wedding and loving the fanfare of it! My kids are studying European History and there are so many awesome Dover Books to help along the way!

I think I love so many in British History from Tyndale to Wilberforce, to Princess Diana. I really admire all of them, for their courage to do the right things and to change the world around them. I love that Princess Diana was the people’s Princess and I felt like she really helped make the Royals so much more approachable and the openness. I loved watching her as I grew up. Her children are fantastic and I can’t wait to see the Royal Wedding!
We will be studying European history next year, this would be perfect! We love learning about the British Royals and may watch the wedding (if we can!)

Our families favorite royal is Queen Victoria. We are inspired by how, at such a young age, she overcame obstacles and was able to reign while still learning the ropes. She became a great queen although the odds were against her and We find that truly inspiring for both women and men, girls and boys.

I wouldn’t miss the royal wedding! My mom and I watched the last one while on the phone together when I was in college! There are so many great people, but Queen Victoria was pretty awesome!

I won’t be watching the live wedding, but I can’t wait to see the pictures of what everyone is wearing. I’m not sure who my favourite person from British history is, but I’m drawn to Queen Victoria because she named my province in Canada and she was the first woman to have drugs childbirth!
My favourite person in British history is probably Elizabeth I, but there are a lot of interesting options. I doubt I will watch the wedding live because my son will likely have his birthday party at the same time., But definitely will watch highlights after the fact.
My favorite person in British history is the female Warrior Boadicea. She seems to turn up everywhere now like even in children’s books from Julie Andrews! As for the royal wedding, it’s not really my cup of tea so we will give it a miss. ????

I really enjoyed watching Netflix Crown. Learning about queen Elizabeth really sparked an Intrest into mid century England for me. By the way, I loved Dover coloring books when I was homeschooled. These books look amazing.
I would love to watch the royal wedding but not sure if we will.
My favorite (besides Queen Elizabeth II) would be King George VI, his rein was imposed on him and he handled it was grace and servitude to the empire like no King before him. His rein was during one of the most difficult times in modern history. And he and his bride raised two lovely daughters, one being the Queen whom also handles her duties to her people with grace.

My favourite person in British history would probably be Jane Austen as I read her books again and again :). But the kids are having an Ancient Roman phase and have loved learning about Queen Boudica fighting back against the Romans. We won’t be watching live but will certainly catch up on it later :).

I greatly admire William Wilberforce’s courage and determination in fighting to end slavery in Great Britain. I hadn’t really thought about watching the wedding, but now I think we may have to plan on it!

I’m not sure if we’ll be available to watch the royal wedding or not but I still remember watching Harry’s parents’ wedding during my summer vacation from college in 1981. I got up very early before work to see it! My favorite person in British history is Sir Thomas More (and one of my favorite movies is A Man for All Seasons!)

Queen Victoria is my favorite royal. I love everything about the time period. Princess Diana is a very close second. I truly love Princes’ William and Harry, and it’s been so wonderful to be able to watch them grow up and become men that their mother would be so proud of. I do plan to watch the next royal wedding. The struggles they went through were amazingly difficult, but their resolve to lead for their people and their personal sacrifice is greatly admirable. Favorite PERSON in British history?? That would have to be an author, maybe C.S. Lewis, for example, but it would be hard to narrow it down! Favorite royal, probably Catherine of Aragon (okay, so she was Spanish, but…), but I’ve also been reading a lot about Lady Jane Grey recently. I’m honestly pretty impressed with the current Queen Elizabeth, as well.
