artterro eco-friendly art kits

This giveaway has ended; thanks for your interest!

Welcome to this weekend’s giveaway, sponsored by Artterro eco-friendly arts and crafts!

About the company:

“Here at Artterro we make Eco Art Kits, and there’s nothing else quite like them on the market.

In 2008, I was shopping for a craft kit for my young sons, and noticed lots of uninspiring projects, cheap materials and wasteful packaging.

I decided to make a high-quality, eco-friendly, engaging art kit so that parents would have a convenient way to bring art into the home and have a great time as a family.”

artterro

“With the help of my business partner, Jennifer Conn and the rest of our team in Madison, the Artterro line now includes 12 titles that make it easy to explore needle felting, decoupage, art journaling and more. Each kit is assembled by hand in Wisconsin, and contains beautiful, inspiring materials.

An ideas sheet gives inspiration but never dictates what your final product will look like.

Our mission is to bring creativity into people’s lives by offering fun projects with quality, sustainable materials and provide friends and families a wonderful art experience.

We also love to write about kids and creativity, and the joys and challenges of owning a sustainable business at our blog, and we truly enjoy connecting with our customers online.  I hope you enjoy our kits as much as my family does!”

My girls are 8 and 4, and we do crafts as often as we are inspired to do so. At least once a week, but as often as everyday!! We love crafts!

My boys are three and eight and I don’t do nearly enough art with them. The eight year old tends to give up immediately if it doesn’t look perfect or as good as mine, and if it something they really want the end product (cardboard knife…tomahawk….powder horn…sense a pattern.

My boys are 9 and 7 and while they do crafts often it may be every day for two weeks then once a week I don’t craft WITH them nearly often enough. I’m making a point of playing with them more not just using their contented play as time to get something done.

I have a 5, 3, and 1 year old. We love to do “projects” about 3 times a week, then display the work throughout our home. I am learning to be more flexible about the mess and remember that we can clean up when we are all done. It’s important for them to be able to go where their creative juices are taking them, without mom hovering, saying “don’take a mess!”

Our children are 8, 6, 3, and 1. We do something hands on and productive almost every day. Some days it is fine arts, some days fashioning things like a bow and arrow from sticks and string. So we craft a lot! We’ve actually never done a kit before!

I have a 2 1/2 and 5 year old. My daughter loves art/crafts, we do something 1-3 times a week, though I am not very crafty, so my projects are fairly simple and she can do so much more.
