Welcome to today’s giveaway, sponsored by Artterro eco-friendly art kits!
About the company:
“Here at Artterro we make Eco Art Kits, and there’s nothing else quite like them! In 2008, I was shopping for a craft kit for my young sons, and noticed lots of uninspiring projects, cheap materials and wasteful packaging.
I decided to make a high-quality, eco-friendly, engaging art kit so that parents would have a convenient way to bring art into the home and have a great time as a family.”
“Our mission is to bring creativity into people’s lives by offering fun projects with quality, sustainable materials and provide friends and families a wonderful art experience.
We also love to write about kids and creativity, and the joys and challenges of owning a sustainable business at our blog, and we truly enjoy connecting with our customers and friends on social media.
I hope you enjoy our kits as much as my family does!”

Homeschooling an adopted child: The whys and hows
My girls are 2 and 5. They are naturally drawn to creating. The little sister mostly because big sister loves it. I am not good at actually allowing the messy creating very often but I do make sure we have paper, pencils, crayons, even pens around. When they are not making believ you can almost certainly find my oldest drawing or digging through some art supplies we keep in the closet to create something special like flowers or necklaces, etc out of paper, pipe cleaners and stickers.

My daughter, Isabella, is just a few months shy of 3 and my youngest is only 6 weeks old. Ever since Isabella could sit in a high chair we would finger paint. Now she is always asking to do an art project, weather it’s painting, drawing, glueing, or making bead necklaces she is up for it and can literally spend hours creating. We have so much fun and I know winning this would just make her day! Especially with her birthday coming up. 🙂
Hi Jamie,
My daughters are 6 and 4. You ask how we make time for art ad creativity, its actually, the other way round. They are always drawing and painting and then we have to make time for learning.Though we do sit down to do some art every evening together with ideas inspired from various blogs, (Our recent was an alphabet book from Moments of Mommyhood), most of the time they are drawing and painting from their imagination on sheets of white paper and then putting them up all over the place.
Have liked Artterro On Facebook. Had liked Simple Homeschool ages ago.
I have an 11, 9, 8, & 6 year-old and I make time for creativity by keeping our schedule simple and keeping plenty of free time for imagination, play, and arts and crafts.
My daughter is 6 and creativity is not something i feel we have to make time for because it’s something that is essential to her daily life. As soon as she awakes, she is off creating something magical. It helps that we Home School, so our time is our time. Blessings!
I have a 6, 4, 3 and 1 year old. We keep art supplies at their level in the kitchen pantry right by the kitchen table (where we create). We try to dedicate time every day to art and expression. I love seeing them grow and love what they are creating.
My girls are 3 and 4. We converted our dining room into a school room so they’d have a space for being creative. There’s a reading corner, a desk corner, a toy corner, and an art corner. We eat off a small table in the lounge room.

My boys are 9, 4, 3 and a baby. So, I try to do more project with them like baking and coloring and drawing. Trying to find the time is hard, but we try to make do, and they love it!
I just enjoy playing with play dough with my grandkids. Toddler years are so fun!
I don’t do nearly enough creative activities with my son who is 3. However, we set time aside to work on the alphabet with flash cards and he loves to listen to classic music and Italian singers like Pavarotti! 🙂
My children are 7, 4, 4, and 1. I make space for creativity by allowing them to experience boredom, a lack of constant entertainment, the come up with games and have a great time. I also keep creative materials available so they can take advantage of any inspiration to paint or craft as it comes.
