My son is 5 1/2 – we homeschool in our basement but don’t have a ton of decorations up right now. I have a presidents poster, US map, world map and an American flag. That’s all for now. Thanks for all you do!

We do work at the dinner table and store supplies and books in a bedroom. A few posters they’ve colored and other artwork is all we have up for now.

Our boys are 7 and 3. We have a classroom “wall” since we homeschool in our dining room. We have a calender, whiteboard, decorated cork board with the number of days we’ve been in school, List of subjects we need to complete that day and our bible verse for the week. Then there are all of our posters, we have a hundreds chart, tricky homophones, vowels, parts of speech, and books of the bible. Down low we have the alphabet and numbers 0-10 for our three year old to see. Last and one of my favorites we have a picture of our sponsored child through Compassion so we remember to pray for him everyday.

We have a large tree decal with birds flying away on one wall and on the other we have a large canvas of a beautiful little island and a smaller canvas of all three of the kids at the beach. We decorate with seashells and seaglass and anything else that gives it that relaxing beachy feel. We have a little white loveseat right in the middle of the room where the kids like to cozy up and read a book from one of the three big bookshelves onourbal I like that it doesn’t look like a schoolroom, it just looks like a nice place to whip out a good book and chill

My children are 21 months and 1 month, so no official school room yet. We currently decorate our areas with art projects we make at home and independent drawings and ‘writings’ that my daughter makes. In my kindergarten class in past years, we mostly decorated with child-produced posters, anchor charts, and other works to help students maintain ownership of their learning.

more structure we move to the “school room” (which is supposed to be the dining room). Currently we are using some old decorations from when I used to teach public school- 8 yrs. ago. Teaching my own kiddos at home is so much more fun! But we could definitely uese some new decorations! Thanks for doing the giveaway!

14, 13, 4. Have never decorated for school per say, but I have a map of persecuted countries that I have up as our “world” map and I have used the hanging thing that holds paper strips to put up spelling words, etc of what ever they are working on memorizing. I plan to use it this year to put up the ABC’s and numbers for my youngest

The husband didn’t want to look at school stuff all day so I framed some of the girls artwork and we have hooks where we clip our posters for the day. I am working on some photos of the girls holding the ABC’s up to make an abc wall.

My son is 4. Right now the current theme is Thomas the Train, but last year we decorated with a coconut tree from the book “Chica Chica Boom Boom” in the reading section. We also decorate based on a monthly theme near the calendar and weather area. Plus we have a map that he loves to look over throughout the day. Never heard of Barker Creek – that you for the opportunity to win, as well as introducing Barker Creek to us.

My girls are 9 and 12. I normally decorate our homeschool room with their work, maps, and content material appropriate for that year’s curriculum. This year I have not decorated yet. We moved into a new house a month ago. We have been homeschool in my bedroom/office/homeschool room. A corner is dedicated to homeschool. I have been sick in bed, since we moved. I have not had a chance to gather materials. This giveaway would be a blessing!

My daughter is 8, and my son is 5 ( and I have an 18 month old, too). We live off one income, so the majority of what decorates our room is PDF printables in Dollar Tree frames, haha. I get alot of educational posters that are grade appropriate from Dollar Tree as well. I also have hand painted educational stuff on canvas from Michaels craft store. We are a Christian homeschool so there are alot of scriptures that edify my kids posted, that deal primarily with grace, which is the basis for our homeschool. All in all, it’s slightly a little bit of everything;-)

My kids are 7, 4, 2, and 8 months. Behind a curtain on our dining room wall we have a world map, a hundred’s chart, a chicka-chicka-boom-boom tree made out of brown wrapping/shipping paper and green construction paper with the letters ‘e’, ‘f’, ‘s’, ‘l’, ‘t’, and ‘h’ making their way up the tree, and about 6 sheets with our weekly Bible verse and coloured pictures to go with them. Each of my big kids also has a calendar up with their activities listed and a whiteboard wall-adhesive that they can list out what to do each day. The great thing is, when the day is done or company is coming over, we can pull the curtain closed and school disappears behind a lovely yellow and white gingham curtain. : )
