My son is 5 1/2 – we homeschool in our basement but don’t have a ton of decorations up right now. I have a presidents poster, US map, world map and an American flag. That’s all for now. Thanks for all you do!
My children are 7,5,and 2. We just moved so we don’t have any decorations up, these would be perfect for our space!
My kids are 5 and 3. We homeschool at our kitchen table as we don’t have any other place right now. So I don’t really have any decorations up. 🙁
I liked Barker Creek on Facebook and I already like Simple Homeschool. Thanks!

My kids are 7, 5, 4, 2. Our dining room and playroom are our school room. They are decorated with maps, letter posters, and lots of pictures of animals.
My children ‘s ages are 16,13,12, and 7. I decorate my bulliten boards with ideas I find on Pinterest.
I “like” both pages on Facebook.
I have a small room, so I decorated mostly with some of their work and the ABC’s. They are 5 and 3 years old.
My kids are 9, 7 and 5. Our school area is decorated with their art projects.
My kids are 7, 5, and 2. I decorate their classroom with a world map, ABC poster, number poster, US map, and their own work.
I “liked” both pages on Facebook.
Our daughters are 6 and 3 years old. We usually have seasonal decorations they make, as well as a sight word caterpillar I made. These resources would definitely add more educational value to our homeschool – thank you for the contest!
Sorry, I noticed my email address was incorrect just as a clicked “post comment” for the above. I’ve corrected it here. Please don’t count this as a duplicate entry, just as the email correction. Sorry for the error and thank you!
My sons are 4 and 2.5. Don’t have too many decorations since the younger one is always on a search and destroy mission, but I put children’s books in every room!
My boys are 11, 9, 8, 6, and 4. Our schoolroom is pretty much “decorated” with books. 🙂 I do have a world map up too.
I like both on Facebook. My name on there is Iamsaving Heath.
My kids are 8 and 11. We use books to decorate!
My twins are 8 and we use pictures from magazines that interest us, papers we have drawn, and posters from the dollar store.
My kids are 16, 14, 11, 8, and 5. We homeschool in the kitchen so we don’t do a lot of decorating! But we have a bookshelf by the table and a nearby closet converted into a school closet with our many resources.
My son is two so we are planning what is to come and I am reading as much about homeschooling as we can to be somewhat prepared. Decorations are limited at this point.
I liked both pages on facebook.
My kids are 9, 7, and 4. I use maps and student work to decorate our school room! 🙂 We also have a chalkboard wall that adds more decoration.
I liked both on FB!
My kids are 4&3. We’ve just moved into a small apartment while we wait on my husband to receive a commission in the US Air Force and then make another move. We do work at the dinner table and store supplies and books in a bedroom. A few posters they’ve colored and other artwork is all we have up for now.
My kids are 6 and 4. We do our school work at the dining room table. We have a small house and don’t have anywhere else.
My kids are 10, 8, 6. We do most school work in the living room or at the kitchen table, so our ‘decor’ is lacking. 😉
I like Barker Creek and Simple Homeschool on FB. My kids LOVE the Draw Write Now books, by the way! They are super fun. 🙂

My kids are 6 1/2 and 3. We’re doing a Draw Write Now book with the older one now–good stuff! Right now our decorations are the Bible verses that are the foundation of our homeschool, a laminated world map we write on, a calendar, and the kids’ artwork.
What a great giveaway!
My children at 7, 6, 4 and 2. I am also due to have another baby in about two months. Our schoolroom is decorated with the children’s artwork, our “Verse of the Week” board, maps and a calendar.
8-6-3-baby. We decorate with chalk board drawings. : )
Liked Simple Homeschool long ago and Barker Creek this morning. Thanks for the chance to win!
My kids are almost 12, 8, and 6. We live in a small house, so we do not have a room dedicated just for homeschooling. We homeschool at our kitchen table. The only decorations we have up right now are papers on the refrigerator 🙂
I like Barker Creek and Simple Homeschool on Facebook 🙂
I homeschool my boys who are 8 and 11. Right now, we are settling into a house we just bought. Not sure what we’ll be doing to decorate. We don’t have an official homeschool room, but I’ll probably be putting up a map somewhere and a bulletin board to show off their hardwork.
My kids are 8, 6 and 3. The younger two are in special needs classes and I homeschool the oldest. We homeschool at the kitchen table so there isn’t a whole lot of school type decorating going on. Though we do have a big chalkboard now! 😉

My daughter is 4 and my son is 8 months. I have some posters from Scholar’s Choice hanging up with colours, the ASL alphabet, and numbers as well as 4 different trees that show each season.
Our boys are 7 and 3. We have a classroom “wall” since we homeschool in our dining room. We have a calender, whiteboard, decorated cork board with the number of days we’ve been in school, List of subjects we need to complete that day and our bible verse for the week. Then there are all of our posters, we have a hundreds chart, tricky homophones, vowels, parts of speech, and books of the bible. Down low we have the alphabet and numbers 0-10 for our three year old to see. Last and one of my favorites we have a picture of our sponsored child through Compassion so we remember to pray for him everyday.
My kids are 8, 6 and 5 and we decorate our schoolroom with their artwork.
I liked both pages on fb.
I currently homeschool my 3 1/2 year old. On our wall, we have the US Map, Days of the Week, Colors, Shapes, artwork he has done 🙂
My kids are 6 and 4 years old. Decorations are sparse right now – just a US map, the kids’ artwork, and a sticker chart.
My children are 4.5, 3 and 16 months. I decorate with posters and my children’s artwork.
Just clicked like on Barker…already liked Simple Homeschool awhile back 🙂
We just moved into a rental and have not decorated any. I love this package!!
7, 5.5 & 4; we study at our dining table so decor is homey, not schoolish! 🙂

My kids are 7 and 4 . . . we decorate our world with bits of nature and old school items from long ago. We like to pretend we have our own one-room schoolhouse . . . I suppose we really do! 🙂
My children are 8 and almost 3. We decorate our home/school areas with their artwork and educational posters reflecting things that interest them. Thanks for the chance!

My kids are 4, 2, and 6 months. We just started homeschooling with my 4 yr old. I don’t have anything yet to decorate our room. Would love to win this!
My kids are 9, 6, and 5. We do not decorate las much as I would like to. We have a schedule, letter charts, and a calendar on the wall. I would love to win this! Thanks!

6, 4, 3, and 1
We study at the kitchen table but our laundry room where we keep all our books and supplies is decorated with charts and a few Bible verses for encouragement!
My kids are 13 and 8 years old. The thing that I put on my walls is their art, math posters and reading posters. I really depends on what they are learning that year. I like to have everything eye level for them to see all the time.
My kids are 6, 4, and 18 months. Our school room is our kitchen counter and family room. We have bright maps and kids’ drawings on the wall.
My kids are 4 and almost 2. Right now our decorations are mostly their artwork hung all over the dining room!
For ages 8 & 4. Decorations would be at a minimum; since the dining room table is used for school work. Thank you.
my kids are 5, 3, and 5 months. we have art work and number and alphabet posters up in our work room
We have a 7 year old son, and a 5 year old daughter. Our dining room is decorated with banners the children have made, and our mantle above our non-functional fire place houses our books. We use a Melissa and Doug easel for our whiteboard. It’s not fabulous, but it works for us. 🙂
Our daughter is 4 and our “homeschool area” is essentially our entire house, though it’s focused in the dining room and living room. I have simple black outline on white paper US and world maps, as well as a colorful US labeled map hanging in the living room. The dining room is where she displays her artwork that she creates herself and the projects we do together.
My kids are 6 and 4. I’ve decorated with maps, a number chart, calendar, pocket chart, music posters to help read music… But our favorite area is the “Best Work” corner, where my kids can hang up their work or art projects when they are proud of what they’ve done.
And I “like” both pages on Facebook 🙂

Their artwork is decorated around house. And we school everywhere. 🙂
My kiddos are 18 months and soon-to-be 3 (his birthday is Tuesday!!!!) and we do not currently have a classroom. We use the whole house. We have a rhythm calendar type board that I made which is by our kitchen nook, that is where we do a lot of our manipulative art etc. I would love to be able to decorate a room for schooling 🙂
Also, I have liked both of the pages on Facebook 🙂
My girls are 16, 3 and 14 months. We are just starting with the 3 year old…no decorating as we are currently using the dining room table and the back patio.
My kids are 3 and 10 months, and our school room is currently in the office. We put up our letter/number of the week and usually some nursery rhymes and shapes. We are just getting started with some preschool stuff, and that all looks great! Thanks for the giveaway!
8, 7, 3, and 1. We homeschool in the dining room so it isn’t overly “school” decorated, but we have a clothesline for hanging artwork, a bookshelf and a chalkboard in there so you can still tell we work in there. I also have a bulletin board in the hallway for things that stay up longer.
I also liked both pages on facebook
My boys are 11 and 8. I don’t have a schoolroom. It’s whatever room we happen to be in. My house is decorated french shabby chic.
My munchkins are ages 1 & 3.
This will be my first year “schooling” at home. So for now, our little “school” area is decorated with tons of color and posters/art from either the Dollar Store or from past art activities.
My children are 6 and 3. We do school at the dining room table. All of our decorations are homemade except our monthly calendar. We have art from a history lesson and a poster we made representing the Biblical characteer trait we are studying this month.
13, 11, 6, 4… and we converted our dining room into a learning space…. lots of stuff accessible to the kids at any moment, their artwork displayed, and alphabet letters.

We are schooling a very active (just turned yesterday) 6 year old! Our “schoolroom” is decorated with his artwork (much is from Draw, Write, Now), maps of the U.S. and World, a calendar and a few posters. We love, love Draw, Write, Now and would love to include more of Barker Creek products into our classroom!
My kids are ages 12, 10, 8 and 4. We’ve been doing school at the dining room table, but we do have a room that we plan to make into a school room in the future and would love to decorate.
I am teaching 2 very different and very active boys, ages 4 and 6. Right now we are decorating with their very own artwork! I would LOVE the draw.write.NOW series.

We have a dedicated school room for the first time this year. One “wall” is made up of storage shelves and we plan to hang string across them, and then use clothes pins to hang art work across the ugly shelves. MY children are 10 and 4. Thanks for this chance.
My 4 year old loves the calendar and posters and maps. We made an art hanging wall too.
We have 3 girls, ages 6, 4, and 1 🙂
We homeschool, and we decorate the schoolroom with their own artwork, it makes them so proud to see it!
My girls are 5 and 6. We are currently living with my parents while we are waiting for our house to be built. So, school is done in their dining room, no decorations, all packed away.

My girls are ages, 9, 7,6 and 4. and we don’t have a classroom per say since our house is too small for that so our dinning room table doubles up as a classroom during formal school time. we have bookcase with all of our books, a cork board with our schedule and reading time log. eventually I would love to get posters of a map of the world, parts of the speech, times table poster and a couple of pictures of famous academic people such as Einstein, Jane Austen, Rafael Pombo and Shakespeare. 🙂
My children are 2 1/2 and 4 1/2. We have a small space in our home for homeschooling but we also like to draw and do activities on the kitchen table. For decoration I have a large calendar that comes along with seasons and weather that we work on every morning. In addition, I like to decorate our homeschooling space with their drawings. I am hoping to acquire more decorative themes for their space.

We have 2 sons, Kindergartner, age 5, a Pre-Ker, age 4 next week!, and our sweet 2 year old girl. We are beginning our homeschooling journey and made a cabinet dedicated to their homeschool supplies. I’m excited for us to decorate the cabinet and our door with themes of the month.
4, 2, 0. We don’t have decor, yet, but I was just thinking of how helpful some charts would be!
D is 4.5 and E is 3 in 3 weeks. Our ‘classroom’ is decorated with artwork–kids’ and others’–and various posters/visuals (JRR Tolkein poster, colour wheel, letters from our sponsor child, etc.). This is the first I’ve seen of Draw Write Now. I’m going to check it out–looks great and from the other comments seems well liked by homeschoolers.
My kids are 10, 8, 6 and 4.
We decorate with maps and kids art work.
We would love this giveaway!
I have a 6 and 7 yr old. Pretty much the only thing we have right now are a few charts and a dry erase board.
Our kids are 6, 4, and almost 3. Right now our schoolroom is an old bedroom that’s painted like the great outdoors. There’s a tree in the corner and a pond with ducks and cattails. It’s kind of cool actually. I’ll be kind of sad when we have to move. I also have maps and fun projects that the kids have done up.
I have a little girl who is almost 4, and we have a few things from my teaching days left over, as well as FIAR and All About Reading.

The rest of the space is covered with drawings the girls have made.

So no fun decorations at the moment other than the kids artwork.

My kids are 4, 12 & 14 years old and we have sort of a relaxed beachy theme in our school room. We have a large tree decal with birds flying away on one wall and on the other we have a large canvas of a beautiful little island and a smaller canvas of all three of the kids at the beach. We decorate with seashells and seaglass and anything else that gives it that relaxing beachy feel. We have a little white loveseat right in the middle of the room where the kids like to cozy up and read a book from one of the three big bookshelves onourbal I like that it doesn’t look like a schoolroom, it just looks like a nice place to whip out a good book and chill
7, 9 and 11 – pretty basic decore right now. It would be great to add to it!!
I am homeschooling a 7 and 5 year old. We decorate with art projects, map of India (where we live), map of the world, calendars, and our bulletin board displaying a hodgepodge of items.

My kiddos are 8,5,2 and 8 months. We use a calendar system for morning meeting- nice & nuetral!
I have three kiddos: 7, 5, and 1 years old. Our school room is basically our living room and dining room so I don’t have much decorated school-wise. I try to put most things away instead of leaving them out, ie maps and such. I’d love a dedicated school room! Maybe the next house!
We have a 1,2 and 5 year old. Our homeschool/dining room is decorated with maps and a handwriting chart.
My daughter is 5, and my son is 3. We have art made by the kids on the walls, and will add maps and some find art posters over time.

It can be as simple as animal photographs from our local zoo’s newsletter, ABC/123 posters received as gifts, flea market finds, art by myself or friends, etc. It looks… unique. 🙂

Thanks so much!
My son is 4 and we decorate using posters, his arts crafts, his drawings as well as things that I create!
I liked both FB pages
my girls are 4 and 6 and we don’t have a “schoolroom” but we do have a calendar decorating our kitchen!
I like both on FB.
My kids are 6, 4 and 3. We decorate with maps, the alphabet, spelling words and their own artwork.
My daughter is 3.5 and we decorate with number cards (working on 11-15 right now) and other items designed for teachers’ bulletin boards. We also have a magnetic calendar and responsibilities chart.
My girls are 8, 8 and 7. Since my homeschool room is the dining room I tend to not decorate with much. We have a huge map of the world that is on the wall and also a time line painted that I have taped pictures of the people and events we are learning about. Other than that I use a lot of my kids artwork to decorate the kitchen!
My 4 kids are between 8-15 and our school room is a relaxing nature theme. We have a large aquarium in the room with turtles and a waterfall. There are stuffed animal birds around the room and we look out 2 windows over the front garden and bird feeder. I have a few posters that get changed out regularly and lots of bookshelves and baskets. A few years ago we didn’t have a room and just used crates and the kitchen table, and while it worked, I’m so grateful to be able to have a whole room to use!
This is my first year homeschooling a 3rd grader and a preschooler. Our dining room is our classroom. We have our American Flag proudly hanging on our wall. We are learning United States history this year, so we have a map and a timeline decorating our room. We also have our alphabet letter cards on display. We are praying for a new home with more space for more learning!
My children are 21 months and 1 month, so no official school room yet. We currently decorate our areas with art projects we make at home and independent drawings and ‘writings’ that my daughter makes. In my kindergarten class in past years, we mostly decorated with child-produced posters, anchor charts, and other works to help students maintain ownership of their learning.
I like both fb pages.
My children are 7,5,4,and 1. We like to learn everywhere, but when we need a little
more structure we move to the “school room” (which is supposed to be the dining room). Currently we are using some old decorations from when I used to teach public school- 8 yrs. ago. Teaching my own kiddos at home is so much more fun! But we could definitely uese some new decorations! Thanks for doing the giveaway!
My children’s ages are 13,8 and 3. We usually decorate with wall maps and time lines and anything my children have created to go along with our studies. So mainly my children’s masterpieces. 🙂
I have already liked simple homeschool. I love love love this blog and enjoy reading them daily. I just liked Barker creek 🙂
This is my first year homeschooling, so I do not have “decor” yet that I use. I have a seven, five & three year old. I am going to be getting a world map, tho, to locate & mark the places that are in the books we read
We have a 7 and a 2 year old. We decorate our school/ dining room with a world map, wall clock- not digital, the alphabet in cursive and a magnetic calendar weather board. We love homeschooling.
My boys are 10, 8 and 6! I decorate the schoolroom with their work. 🙂
After years of homeschooling we just moved into a house where we have a schoolroom (!) I’ve always been told how overrated having a schoolroom is, but so far I’m lovin it! We just finished unpacking so we haven’t decorated yet.
My daughter is 7, going on 8 and we decorate her learning area simply with emphasis on “how to think like a scientist” cutouts and bubble ideas decorating the walls.
This is our first year of homeschooling. We live in a tight space inner-city. There is 5 of us (2 adults, 3 kids) in a small condo. However, we are beyond blessed. Right now, we have no decorations. Our homeschool is our living room/dining room.
I have 6, 4, and 3. Our room is decorated with maps and the kids artwork!
I have four homeschooling this year. Grades 6, 4, and twins in 1st! Decorations consist of the kids artwork and lots of information posters and pictures!
My children are 4 and 5. They love to create their own decorations but we also have a map, prayer calendar and the alphabet in their writing/ drawing area.

Hi, what a great giveaway! My daughter is 5 and we just started homeschooling. Currently we have posters of the alphabet, 1-100, a weather spinner, a practice clock and sight words decorating my daughter’s schoolroom. I am going to get a laundry line and start hanging up her artwork soon. We would love to cover up more wall-space with fun and enjoyable decorations.
I liked Barker Creek and Simple Homeschool on Facebook!
DD is 9 and DS is 5 – we don’t decorate much 🙁
Their creations, globe and maps…
I have a 23 month old boy. We have a weather calendar, number posters, letters , books and bright colors in his learning center.
My kids are 1 and 4, so just beginning the pre-k process but right now it’s wall-to-wall 4-year-old art!

And I liked Simple Homeschool a long time ago. 🙂
My son is seven and we unschool so we don’t have a classroom! Our house is full of lots of interesting things. On the walls at his level right now is a map of our city, one of our nearest ski slope, and one of the Met. Also some fun posters about reading and paintings/drawings that he did.
I liked Barker Creek and Simple Homeschool on Facebook!
My kids are 7,4,22months old. We put up drawings on what little wall space we have.
My children are 4, 2, and 6 months. They call it their classroom but is mostly a toy room with a folding table and a full bookshelf. The walls are decorated with construction paper having the alphabet, numbers, and shapes, a cork board with the week’s theme, and a picture of Jesus. Eventually I would like to hang the maps I’ve been collecting.
We are insanely blessed with a 5 year old boy and baby girl. We have a school room but is mainly used for storage. In our dining room (where do a bit of table work) hangs our “We Choose Virtues” posters soon we will have Classical Conversations memory work on display as well.
My children are 11, 9 and 3. We homeschool at our dinning room table and our couch.
I have two kindergarteners and I love to decorate our schoolroom with vintage and natural items, attractive supplies, and kids’ art!
I have like SH on FB for ages! 🙂
My kids are two and four years old. Our only decoration is the alphabet wall decals.
I have a 6 year old and a 3.5 year old. We have just started homeschooling this fall. So far, I haven’t really decorated our “classroom” because it is all over our house. The only thing I’ve put up so far is a Melissa & Doug magnetic calendar. Working on other creative ways to have school and grown-up space all at the same time, due to our house being quite small. 🙂

My children are 9 and 6. We just remodeled our home so all new school decorations going up. We also just started a new co-op, so this would be the perfect addition.

We have a couple of the Draw Write Now books and we love them! My kids are 4, 6, 8, 10, 11 and 14. We decorate our room with art.
This is our second year homeschooling and I have a little one that loves reading just like her mom. It has bonded us even more. She would absolutely love these!
I homeschool my 9 yr. old daughter, 7 year old son, 4 year old son, and 3 yr. old daughter…I usually decorate with homemade posters, etc.
My three sons are 10, 8 and 5. We do not have a formal “schoolroom” but “do” school all over our house! 🙂
We do have some world maps and bulletin boards hanging in our kitchen/dining area, where we do most of our “seat work” (as well as share dinner and Small Group, etc!) On the bulletin boards I like to display the children’s artwork and memory verse, etc. and we also keep a dry erase board with current prayer requests (for friends, neighbors, as well as our own!)
My kids are 9 and 12. My 12 year old goes to a public school part time and my 9 year old is home all the time. I don’t really “decorate” at all. We have a globe in with our regular decor and a vintage wooden locker piece of furniture for all our books. Other than that I like the house to look normal and not like “school”. Thanks for a great giveaway!
I ‘liked’ those pages too 🙂
My kids are ages 7,5, and 2. And we have used cat in the hat decorations, a whiteboard and scripture. Also, we have a 6 clipboard art board with little wooden wall plaques.
My children are 8, 5 and 6 months. This is our first year of homeschooling and so far our classroom is decorated with maps and the kid’s artwork. We have one Draw Write Now book and love it! Thanks!

I have a 5 1/2 year old daughter. This is our first year of homeschool, and she’s already reading and writing so we have started 1st grade! We have a tiny house, so our homeschool is in the living room. All we have room for is her globe, a weather chart, and letter/number charts to help her remember. Oh, and the fridge is covered with all of her artwork!
Our kids are 15, 14, 11, 10, 8, and 6. We don’t have a schoolroom but if I did it would be covered with maps!
My kids are ages 10, 8, 6 and 3. We currently have our class room decorated with a time line of ancient history, model skeletons, world maps, and a “word train” of all the “er”s
(er, ir, ur, wor, ear).

My whole house is a homeschool!
I just liked Barker Creek! (Already had liked Simple Homeschool.) Thank you for doing this!!
We don’t really have a homeschool room that we use right now (just the living room), but in a couple months we’ll have one. I’m not sure how we’ll decorated it yet, but I think we’ll have plenty of bookcases for sure! 😉
My kids are 8, 7, 4, ad 10 months. We live in a cottage type house and just have a simple desk in the middle of the common area. However, we are moving soon into a bigger house and I will actually have a family room/ school room to decorate!
I liked Barker Creek and Simple Homeschool on Facebook!

Our kids are 15, 12 & 8. We decorate with framed art supplies, educational posters, maps and the kids’ art, of course!
My kids are 27 months and 20 months! We are in the process of putting our house up on the market so I have to “hide” our school stuff every day so no decor right now. I do love the Learn Laugh Smile border and could see that going up in a future school room in our (hopefully) new house.
liked Barker Creek and Simple Homeschool on Facebook. 🙂
I’m homeschooling my five year old and also have a five month old. I converted the office to our homeschool room and have it decorated with maps, a bullentin board, and educational things. I plan to add my son’s artwork as the year goes on.:-)
My kids are 5 and 3, and we try to use natural materials to decorate. We don’t want our home to look like a pubic school classroom, but to simply look like education is a part of our family rhythm.
My kids are 8 and 3. I painted a chalkboard on one wall which we love. We have a big world map and bulletin board on another wall. There is a huge bookcase in our schoolroom, as well! Thanks so much for the chance!!!!

My daughter is 5 1/2 and my son is 3 1/2. We don’t have a dedicated school room, we just use the kitchen table. So I can’t go too crazy with the decorations. But I do have a fun wall with our calendar, what we are learning that week and their workboxes. It’s fun, colorful and at their due level. They both love to color ans draw so we have a fast of art supplies I leave on the table during school time to spark their interstate in their work 🙂

And my decorating style is usually on a whim….depending on certain themes of study. Themed studies are the best!
“Liked” Barker Creek and I’m a fan of Simply Homeschool. 🙂
My children are 11, 10, 8, 6, 3, and one coming soon. I really don’t decorate with any store bought items. We just use the ART projects the kids do through out the year. Like last month we read Charlotte’s Web as our book of the month and we made spider webs out of sticks and yarn then Wilbur pigs out of paper plates and those are what my décor has involved however I do put up the posters of Nancy Larson science this year we have mammals and other science things. I suppose I could do more but after I buy school books and programs there is not aton of money left over. Thanks so much for this wonderful giveaway!
My children who are homeschooled are 10 and 7. We don’t have a schoolroom. We use the kitchen table and the living room. 🙂
I like Barker Creek and Simple Homeschool on FB.

Whoops- meant calendar!
Thank you! My kids ages are 7,5,4, and 2. This would be perfect for us! We live in a very small space so we don’t do a lot of decorating as we do not have our own school room. Except for some maps on the walls and the kids art work!
My kids are 4 and 6. I have not really decorated my schoolroom. The farthest I have gone is to make a circle time calendar. They love it!

Have never decorated for school per say, but I have a map of persecuted countries that I have up as our “world” map and I have used the hanging thing that holds paper strips to put up spelling words, etc of what ever they are working on memorizing. I plan to use it this year to put up the ABC’s and numbers for my youngest

I “liked” Barker Creek and Simple Homeschool!
The girls are 5 & 7. We have a small house and homeschool in our Master bedroom. The husband didn’t want to look at school stuff all day so I framed some of the girls artwork and we have hooks where we clip our posters for the day. I am working on some photos of the girls holding the ABC’s up to make an abc wall.
I have an 8yo and a 5mo, and I can’t say we have much of anything other than maps and a dry erase board on the walls!
My children are 18 (graduated), 13, and 11. We use their artwork mostly to decorate. We also use educational posters and maps. My 11 year old loves to paint and draw!
My son is 4. Right now the current theme is Thomas the Train, but last year we decorated with a coconut tree from the book “Chica Chica Boom Boom” in the reading section. We also decorate based on a monthly theme near the calendar and weather area. Plus we have a map that he loves to look over throughout the day. Never heard of Barker Creek – that you for the opportunity to win, as well as introducing Barker Creek to us.
My children are 10 and 6. We have some educational posters, a globe, and some small whiteboards as our decoration.
my children are 6, 4 and 18months. we don’t have a separate school room so we use an eclectic mix of bright colors to make our area both and functional. we have a chalkboard wall, globe and wall map too 🙂
My girls are 9 and 12. I normally decorate our homeschool room with their work, maps, and content material appropriate for that year’s curriculum. This year I have not decorated yet. We moved into a new house a month ago. We have been homeschool in my bedroom/office/homeschool room. A corner is dedicated to homeschool. I have been sick in bed, since we moved. I have not had a chance to gather materials. This giveaway would be a blessing!
My children just turned 6 and 8. We moved this summer and are renting, so we don’t have any special decoration for our school area. I know we need to improve this, but for now, just keeping it simple.
My sons are 2 & 1 month old. We are just starting out and have an art table in the corner of our office for art projects – we do the rest wherever!
Liked simple homeschool on fb!
My kids are 7, 6, and 4. We were using a monster set of letters and numbers but those are starting to show some wear. thanks for the chance to update our room.

My son is two and I decorated his classroom with a handmade learning poster (got the idea from letteroftheweek.com) and a large colorful calendar.
My daughter is 8, and my son is 5 ( and I have an 18 month old, too). We live off one income, so the majority of what decorates our room is PDF printables in Dollar Tree frames, haha. I get alot of educational posters that are grade appropriate from Dollar Tree as well. I also have hand painted educational stuff on canvas from Michaels craft store. We are a Christian homeschool so there are alot of scriptures that edify my kids posted, that deal primarily with grace, which is the basis for our homeschool. All in all, it’s slightly a little bit of everything;-)

I “liked” both Facebook pages
My kids are 7, 4, 2, and 8 months. Behind a curtain on our dining room wall we have a world map, a hundred’s chart, a chicka-chicka-boom-boom tree made out of brown wrapping/shipping paper and green construction paper with the letters ‘e’, ‘f’, ‘s’, ‘l’, ‘t’, and ‘h’ making their way up the tree, and about 6 sheets with our weekly Bible verse and coloured pictures to go with them. Each of my big kids also has a calendar up with their activities listed and a whiteboard wall-adhesive that they can list out what to do each day. The great thing is, when the day is done or company is coming over, we can pull the curtain closed and school disappears behind a lovely yellow and white gingham curtain. : )
my kids are 8,3,2,and 3months. We actually do not have any décor yet. it is our first year home and the hubby surprised me by finally agreeing 1 month before school. so just concentrating finding school work and getting started.
Ages 4, 3, and 7months. Our room isn’t decorated yet, we’re just barely finishing the Reno on that room, I’m happy the walls and floor are finished!
I liked both pages, although it was very strange, I could not find the Simple Homeschool page on my fb app. I had to go through the Safari (apple) app. But I found it!
