My son is 10 and really into learning about the Presidents. We are in Classical Conversations and our focus this year is on American History.

My kids are 8,4, and 21 months. My eight year old is currently interested in the founding of our country. My four year old does not have much of an interest in history yet, but I’m hoping she will gradually develop more of an interest and awareness.

We are only 3 year immigrants are very much intent to learn American history together so any period in American history would be of interest to us. My kids are 11, 9, 7, 4. We’re obsessed right now with the Hamilton musical. My oldest is also really interested in WWII
Mine are 3 and 1. 3 year old is interested in trains at the moment. So I guess in history that would be the building of the rails. 🙂

The time period in US History we currently most interested in? Establishing the Constitution. We had a blast with WW1, depression era and WW2 which we studied last year.
I have 4 children, ages 10, 9, 7 and 5, and they LOVE history! Their current favorite time period is Civil War era history.
My kids are 10, 9, 7, and 5. They seem to most enjoy learning about the pioneers Westward expansion.
My kids are 5, 8, and 11. They are studying ancient history right now, but my oldest is also studying American history. She is particularly interested in Native American tribes. I am sure that she will have different favorite parts as we go along.

My kids are 9,7,5,2. My daughter just got the First Ladies paper dolls, and my sons were asking if there were any boy paper dolls! They would love this! Right now I would say their favorite time period is the Revolution-War of 1812.
My kids are 11 & 6 we are loving studying the Pilgrims colonizing the East Coast right now.
My children are 14,12,9,7,5,&3. Each is partial to a different time period. Great Depression, industrial revolution, Modern wars, colonization period, civil war, and my youngest is into Native American tribes/ frontier/ pioneers/ Westward expansion /wild west . This would be a marvelous resource for us.
My son is 10 and I would say World War I and II time frame as well as Civil War era.
My children are 7, 5, 3 & 1 and so far they’ve enjoyed history in general but haven’t expressed extra interest in any specific time period.
My son is in 3rd grade and loves reading about the colonists. He especially keeps coming back to the Mayflower.
16, 15, 7, 5….Early American History/founding plus major wars we’ve been involved in (Revolutionary, Civil, WWI and WWII). 🙂
I have a 6 year old and a 12 year old. We are currently studying early US history and are enjoying it. My 6 year old is super interested in the Boston Tea Party. My 12 year old would probably say the World Wars are his favorite part of history.

My youngest 3 kids are studying American History this year with Sonlight core E. It seems whatever they are currently studying is their favorite.
We have an 11yo son and an 8yo daughter. Our daughter is very interested in Depression Era and WW2 history thanks to Kit and Molly American Girls. Our son loves history in general! We’re currently studying the Revolutionary Time Period.
