Weekend giveaway: Great Homeschool Conventions

//  by Jamie C. Martin

Great Homeschool Conventions

This giveaway has ended; thanks for your interest!

Welcome to this weekend’s giveaway–hosted by Great Homeschool Conventions!

Great Homeschool Conventions will hold this year’s regional conventions in South Carolina (March), Ohio (April), and California (June). Each convention features a huge (and I mean huge!) Homeschool Curriculum exhibit hall.

This year’s featured speakers include Dr. Benjamin Carson, Heidi St. John, Dr. Thomas Woods, Dr. Kathy Koch, Gianna Jessen, Dr. Jay Wile, Cathy Duffy, Jim Weiss, Steve Demme, and many more.

When I attended and spoke at last year’s convention in Ohio, I was truly impressed with the professionalism and organization that had gone into the event. The number of sessions to choose from meant something for everyone no matter your needs.

Attendees get to choose from hundreds of encouraging, equipping, information-packed workshops…selecting those that are most applicable to YOUR homeschooling efforts. There is also an optional children’s program and a special track for teens–real faith for the real world.

speakers

One Simple Homeschool reader will receive a family registration to the conference location of your choice!

Choose from:

* Cincinnati, Ohio (April 24-26, 2014)
* Ontario, California (June 12-14, 2014)
* Fort Worth, Texas (Feb 12-14, 2015)

    My kids are 2 & 4 and I’d love to go to the CA convention to learn more about where our journey might lead us. The girls will be 3 & 5 over the summer and it’s time to make some solid decisions. (For now at least 😉 )

    My homeschooled kids are 14, 12, & 9. I’d love to attend a convention in Texas because I’ve never been to one even though I’ve been homeschooling for years. Thanks!

    We would LOVE to attend one of these conferences. I’ve been ignoring the call to homeschool for 2 years now, but couldn’t ignore it any longer. We pulled our daughter out of school after Christmas break. Our kids are 4 and 6 and we need some direction and support in this endeavor. We’d really love to be successful at it! Thank you!!!

    My kids are 6, 4, and 2. We are in the middle of our first year homeschooling our oldest. Sometimes I feel like I’m swimming against the stream because most of my friends don’t homeschool. Any chance I could have to continue to fan this flame within me would be great! Thanks!

    My children are ages 4-11. I love to get encouragement and fresh ideas from the presenters as well as from other homeschool parents! It is also so fun to browse the many different curriculums available at a convention.

    7, 6, 1. We’re in the middle of our third year of homeschooling and I feel as though I’m just beginning to hit our stride. Hoping this conference would help further that goal!

    My kids are 10 months and 2.5 years old. I have been praying about their spiritual formation and already considering homeschool. This would be a great opportunity to get ideas and start seeing what’s available. Thank you!

    My children are 7 & 9, both girls! This is our first year homeschooling, and we have never been to a convention. We’d love to go to learn all we can and make new connections!

    Our children are 13,11,9 & 3. We would consider it a privilege to take our whole family to the conference next yr in Fort Worth. We are in the middle of our first yr. homeschooling our older 3, and would find any classes at convention helpful to continue to encourage us in our homeschooling journey. For what lies ahead with homeschooling through HS, and teaching the younger grades for the first time with our new preschooler. And, Benjamin Carson…….!!!!! Wow! Thanks for the opportunity!

    My children are 14, 12, 9, 7, 5, and 3. Our family would love share in the support and resources of a homeschooling convention as we transition from mainstream public education to homeschooling.

    My kids are 6 and7. I have not been to a conference in several years and have been interested in ghsc for most of that time. It looks like a wonderful conference. As an added bonus, my husband will be attending with me this year and I’d love for him to see all the homeschool resources that are out there.
