What a great offering! My son is six and enjoys creating things however I feel I fall short in providing the tools for this to shine. Crafts, art, etc. have never been my strength so having a prepackaged tool would be fantastic. I’m great at running with an idea however in this area coming up with them is challenging! Thank you.

My kids are 6 and 4. They love pretty much all crafts, although we don’t do them as often as I’d like. One of their favorite things to do is just to get out a stack of paper, scissors, tape, glue, and whatever else they can get their hands on and start creating. I’m always amazed at the things they come up with when they’re allowed to sit with a stack of art & craft supplies for awhile.

Finding something to do is difficult and I wish we could do arts and crafts activities at home but we still haven’t found the time to gather materials or come up with anything. Aackkk! I feel like our daughter should be doing something else other running around or getting her 1-hour dose of Dr. Seuss/Magic School Bus shows every day.

    Hi there,
My little girl is 3 years old and is currently interested in process art. Previously, she used to just throw everything down on the paper and be done with it. However, now she’s being more methodical in her approach. She looks at all the materials she has at her disposal; picks what she wants and carefully lays everything out to her liking.

How wonderful! We love crafts… although sometimes it takes a lot of my time and energy putting things together. Something like this, not having to put a lot of thought into it, would be perfect. We often do crafts to go along with a subject we’re doing in homeschool, or just do something for fun.

My kids are 7, 5, and 2. My oldest, a girl, loves to draw and will often create play scenes for some of her dolls. She also makes her own paper dolls. My middle child, a boy, loves sensory play – play dough, sand or water, etc – as well as building with blocks, LEGOs, and train sets. The youngest, a girl, is a mix of both! They ALL love pretend play, and will often use whatever they have created in some sort of scene.

As for traditional art supplies, we tend to most use paints, pom poms, stickers, art/construction paper, play dough, markers, colored pencils, crayons, sometimes glitter (if I’m feeling ambitious).
