OOOHHH OOOHHHH I want this!! A friend of mine recommended Ordinary Parents Guide to teaching reading after I went to our local school district for help with my daughter’s reading and being told that I would need years of education to be able to teach my daughter to read at home and my best bet would be to send her to their reading program every day for 90mins (mind you she is only a first grader) and of course due to the hectic life of a homeschooling family I have not had a chance to go out and get it – I would love the opportunity to win this book and also show the school system that yes an ordinary parent like myself can teach my child to read without several years of education 😉
Thank you for the opportunity to prove that homeschoolers can do it and don’t need Masters behind our names to provide children with excellent educations!!!

We have used Peace Hill press material and really enjoy the story-telling format of the history books. The material covers a broad amount, but other recommended resources are often available at my local library, and the hands-on activities are varied to interest and challenge any young child. I hope to use all four volumes!

I’m very excited at the possibility of more Peace Hill Press books! I was a confirmed “traditional” homeschooler for many years, and SOTW has freed us by teaching me how to educate my children using different methods.
