It’s crazy hard to believe this, but 10 years ago (February 8, 2010), I published the very first post here on Simple Homeschool!

Yep, this blog has officially reached double-digits!! Does anyone else remember when it looked like this?

In that 10 years, 15 million pageviews have been seen by readers (I almost broke Google Analytics just trying to figure that out!) Over 1,800 posts have been published, many of them by this stellar group of women (& dear friends) who helped this blog grow with their inspirational words.

I have written four books in the past 10 years as well, starting with the very first that also released 10 years ago, Steady Days!

    I started reading Simple Homeschool back in 2010! My son was 1 and we were living in Dubai. I was hooked on the “Simple” blogs and loved the idea of homeschooling my son. We ended up doing some private school with him over the years and had a brief stint with a public K12 at home, and now have been homeschooling for 1.5 years. (And I have three more kids 😊)

    I’m not sure when I began reading, but it was definitely by 2014! I remembered this post throughout the years and it has been a huge comfort to me as I assist my very different kids in their journey to reading fluency https://simplehomeschool.net/learningtoread/ But I think my absolute favorites are all the day in the life posts. I finally started my own blog a few years back just so I could participate 🙂

    I cannot remember when I first began reading, but it was near the beginning and it was before I began homeschooling, because simple living is part of my parenting roots and I have also been a blogger for more than 10 years. My kids are the same age and a couple years younger than yours and they were all little! I can’t say that I have a favorite, but this one springs to mind immediately, because I still use this idea today! https://simplehomeschool.net/the-6-month-inventory/

        Thank you, Jamie! I came back to add one other request/suggestion; one of my good, local homeschooling friend families has just one child. She and I have talked a lot about how different that is and the ways in which it can be difficult. I love Simple Homeschool as a resource but I don’t think any of your contributors and few articles are from or for homeschoolers with one child. I would love to see more of that for my friend!
