My kids are 8, 10, 12, and 14. Our biggest need for back to school supplies is paper and some pencils.

  2. Julie

    August 7, 2014 at 6:47 am

    3 boys ages 9, 8, 5. 1 girl who is 20 months.
We have all our basic school supplies so anything new would be a bonus we would be grateful for. Thanks!

  3. Jill S.

    August 7, 2014 at 7:16 am

My children are 6 and 4. We are in need of some new art supplies and would enjoy playing bird bingo!

  4. Miriam Prantner

    August 7, 2014 at 7:30 am

LOVE Imagine Childhood! My girls are just about 4 and 7. We need to start working on the four year old’s writing, so some of those large ruled pads with the dashed middle line would be great for her. The seven year old needs the basics, but some items to help her get excited about math would be great.

  5. Abby

    August 7, 2014 at 7:39 am

My children are 6, 4, and 2. Since this will be our first year homeschooling, we need a lot of things! I’m particularly looking for pre-school age activities to occupy my younger ones while I work with my first-grader, and also hands-on things that will make first-grade learning fun! We have all of our curriculum books but need some “lab” type things… Toys and games, etc. I also would love to have a globe for our home classroom and I noticed that Imagine Childhood has a beautiful one!

  10. Meg

    August 7, 2014 at 7:49 am

Mine are 1 and 6 (almost 7). We don’t need much in the way of supplies, but I will likely use back to chool sales as an excuse to stock up anyway! Who doesn’t love fresh boxes of crayons and markers!

My kids are 15, 12, 10, 7, 5, 2, and 8 months. We have most of our basic supplies already, but might need to check if our pencil supply is low. I would like to expand our art supplies. And my girls especially would love more crafty things- pipe cleaners, pom-pons, etc.

  13. Laura

    August 7, 2014 at 7:54 am

  27. Emily

    August 7, 2014 at 8:24 am

My daughter is 2.5 and our fetus is about half-gestated. We could really use some more supplies for writing and drawing, and even more importantly we’re starting to be ready for some sort of “art station” that she can access (and tidy up) mostly herself. We’re also looking for highly exciting and engaging goodies for the new baby to “give” her when s/he arrives.

  28. Hannah

    August 7, 2014 at 8:25 am

  33. Brittany

    August 7, 2014 at 8:26 am

Each of my kids (all in elementary) pick out a tag from our local YMCA’s Bright Beginnings program and shops for a backpack full of school supplies for a local student in need. This means shopping early in the summer – they pick out their supplies at the same time – so we’re good on the required items. We afterschool around here, so what I am looking for at this point are more outdoor exploration supplies…Imagine Childhood is great for this! Thanks for the generous giveaway 🙂

My children are 7, 6, 4, and 1 year old. We’re moving to finally have our own space, so we’d appreciate anything to help us set up an environment to inspire learning.
    Thank you.

My children are 1, 3, and 5. I am a Rookie Homeschooling Mom who is a little nervous and a lot overwhelmed about this new chapter in our lives! I planned on keeping this year simple, focus on a classical education, and still allow my daughter plenty of time to play while she learns. That is code for “I don’t have much in the catagory of supplies.”
I love simplehomeschool.net- so happy I stumbled across it!

While my heart palpitates when I see brand new pencils, crayon boxes, pencil boxes and brand new notebooks, I am also looking for items to encourage my kids to spend lots of time outside, exploring nature. Also, things to help spark their creativity and curiousity, so that when we’re not “in school,” they’ll still have lots of fun learning about the world around them.

    August 7, 2014 at 11:26 am

My kids are 12 and 6 and although we still have another month or so of our holidays to enjoy what we will be most in need of when we start back are some beautiful well-made notebooks and pencils and wooden rulers that will last for ever, nice pencil cases and real fountain pens, educational books that have been gorgeously hand illustrated and nice quality paints that are full of pigment and don’t just frustrate my kids. I am so fed up of the mountains of plastic and felt pens, nasty character laden products and ugly computer generated textbooks that pass for educational materials. Rant over 🙂

Ours are 4 1/2, 2 1/2, and 9 months. I’m planning on doing Kindergarten work with the 4 year-old (because he’s ready for it), but with a preschool mindset (because he’s still ready for that, too), and the 2 year-old will tag along whenever he can, with some small motor skill/sensory stuff thrown in for him. I would love some quality craft supplies (paint, colored pencils, etc.), along with some puzzles (my 4 year-old is a whiz), and maybe something to encourage imaginative play (because at this age, that’s school too!).

There are tons of supplies my eldest needs as he is currently homeschooled –books to enhance his reading, pencils and notebooks to supplement his love for drawing, building blocks to encourage thinking. Also, a klean kanteen to quench his thirst and most of all the patience and love of their mom should always be first. P.s. Liked both pages via my FB. More Power!

First off.. Awesome of ya’ll to do something so nice and yay for whomever gets this extra opportunity!!! My kiddos are 5 almost 6, just starting school but an active learner, and 12 going into the 7th grade…who wanted me to homeschool since kinder and finally getting her request! We try to upcycle and use to the very last bit possible, anything we can! Anything and all things are appriciated! We Study Everything! Very artistic with basic supplies and anything we see can help with our creations, ideas and visions. Research and record our observations on so much, always going through notebooks! Read everything and love hands on learning! Arts and crafts supplies, geography and history, science and anatomy, raw nutrition and baking, gardening and herbal medicine, survival and homesteading, poetry and astronomy….the skies the limit!!!! I am also homeschooling myself, with the help of an herbal academy. We are enjoying this experiance and learned anything can be done even on a next to nothing budget! 🙂

Hello! My little monkeys are 5 and 3. We’re just moving in to letter writing, so we want to get the kids chalkboards and chalk. And my 5yo is suddenly, and fervently, interested in all things science, which I am finding myself woefully underprepared for, OY!

    How old are your kids?
We have three technically in homeschool, and then two others learning in their own ways!
    Ages 10, 8, 6, 4, and almost 2
What type of back to school supplies are you in need of this year?
We’ve collected up a lot of the basics (like books and more books!) but we can always use more books, since our closest library is nearly an hour away by bus and foot! We don’t craft much but I would like to do that more.
I don’t expect to win this drawing but this was my way of saying I think it’s fantastic that this company exists, and of saying thank you to simple homeschool for constantly connecting me with resources and ideas!

I have one child who is 4, and we just started Kindergarten this week. She is very high energy, and asks to do school all day long! I wish I could have 2 curriculums for her. She needs very little sleep, and I am so worn out each day that I do not have the energy or time to prepare more crafts/activities for her. She is a hands on learner, so extra manipulatives would be superb!
