Learn organically with Oak Meadow
Exploring educational options for your family? It’s not too early to plan for the next school year!
Oak Meadow has provided flexible, progressive homeschooling curriculum for students in kindergarten to grade 12 since 1975.
Our student-centered, nature-based curriculum allows families to set their own rhythm of learning and encourages creativity and intellectual development through hands-on activities and interdisciplinary projects.
Families love our organic approach to home education, whether they use it independently or through enrollment in our distance learning school. And high school students can truly take charge of their own learning, thanks to the many options we offer.
New at Oak Meadow!
- Revision of our K-8 curriculum was completed in late 2015. We clarified assignments, updated factual information, provided additional instruction, and added assignment checklists, planners, materials lists, and learning assessment rubrics to track student progress.
- Digital delivery of our PreK-8 curriculum is now available. Especially useful for families who travel or live remotely, or for whom high shipping costs and long delivery times discourage purchase of print materials.
- Two new homeschool planners just published! Oak Meadow Homeschool Parent Planner, for parents with students in grades K-4; and Oak Meadow Student Planner, for students from fifth grade through high school.
- First distance school ever to earn accreditation from New England Association for Schools and Colleges.

I have three boys ages 9, 7, and 4. One of them is homeschooled through a district partnership and another really wants to homeschool. Both the older boys have attended a Waldorf school and I love that Oak Meadow has a Waldorf inspiration but also has the structure I love about a traditional school. It’s like the best of both worlds! I would be grateful to win this curriculum to make the homeschool jump with my second kiddo.

I have 3 girls 6,4 and 2. I have been interested in starting a homeschool curriculum like this…focusing on Science, nature and family is awesome <3 thank you

My kids are 10,8 and 7. I actually used oak Meadow 13 years ago when my husband and I homeschooled my brother in law ( then grade 6) on our sailboat in the Bahamas for a semester. It worked wonderfully and totally turned his academic life around!!!! Now with my three kids I’ve looked at it wistfully every year but never taken the plunge to buy the whole curriculum although I would so dearly love to.

My girls are 4 & 5, wild & carefee…happiest outside. That’s a trait of southern girls I think. 😉 Oak meadow sounds like a great way to facilitate that kind of education in an planned, intentional way.

I’m a homeschooling dad who has two beautiful girls, 4 and 1.5 years old. The curriculum at Oak Meadow is a comprehensive package that addresses the natural learning curiosity of learners. It is a complete package that encompasses art, music, food prep, nature, play, compassionate teaching and learning, and includes any daily life encounter that may be adapted for learning.

I have four kids:11, 10, 8, and 6. Oak Meadow appeals to me in that I like the idea of flexibility but having everything together and nature study is always something my children enjoy.

I have three children ages 7, 5, and nearly 2. We have been fairly “unschool-y” so far, but I have considered adding a slight bit of structure. I love that Oak Meadow has some structure, but is still designed to be respectful of the inner genius in each child and seeks to draw that out of them. I also love that it is now available digitally as we have spent the last three years living overseas. I have been interested in Oak Meadow for two years, but have not been able to afford to try it out. I would LOVE to win this!
Connie Trepanier
I have been considering using Oak Meadow for my twins who will be in 7th grade next year. Thus far we have been using a “homemade” curriculum but I think that at their age we should be moving to a more established system while maintaining flexibility. I have heard so many awesome reviews of Oak Meadow and have looked at it online and it looks like it would really suit our family!
Monica Galarce
My 5 year old son, 1.5 year old daughter (it’s never too young to learn), and I are so thrilled to be able to leave our comments on Oak Meadow for a chance to win such an extraordinary curriculum! In a world where public learning has become such a daunting task – for student and teacher alike – it is so refreshing to see that there are institutions that genuinely care about HOW a young student of life learns about our world. I love Oak Meadow’s organic, creative, and nature-based unconventional approach to learning. That is how I teach my children and I would love to reinforce my methods with this curriculum. I pray that we win this one!!! Thank you so much for the opportunity!
Annette
As a former primary educator, I appreciate how the gentle approach of this well-organized (LOVE the layout) and easy to follow (very little prep, comparatively) curriculum honors the child’s developmental stages. The learning simply feels like living life. Additionally, it is well -rounded and subject areas are complementary – not a lot of scrambling to piece in the arts and (exceptionally compiled) sciences. This is a “best fit” curriculum for the child that would prefer to spend all their waking hours in nature and for the parent that appreciates the guidance and not “have to” approach. The content is well-written and while it does have some Waldorf influences, speaks to the needs of children today…VERY COMPREHENSIVE – without the dogma! My child has just turned 11 years old.
Thank you for this opportunity!!

My kids are 5, 8, and 9. I love the tie-ins with nature.

Hi, my kiddies are 8,6 and 3. I’ve drooled over the oak meadow curriculum many times! I love that it feels so natural, and engaging for my kids who are very artsy, crafty, out of doors kids. I also love that it’s a full curriculum so I can relax a little on the planning and organising!

My daughter is nearly 8 and we are using Oak Meadow Grade 2 this year. The thing that really appeals to me about the curriculum is the space left for customized learning. If you don’t like the literature selection just pick another book and writing prompts will still apply. The coursework suggests that 3 sentence paragraphs are suitable for the grade level, but if you live with Wordsworth Jr. you should write more. You get the idea.

Our children are full of wonder and are so very curious about everything. They have imaginations that seem to go on forever. We have been using Oak Meadoe for 4 months and love how it differs from traditional school. Jackson (1st grade-6) and Beau ( Pre-k) wake each morning ready and excited to “play and learn” with Mom. We have been having so much fun learning together and discovering together. We love the opportunity that Oak Meadow has allowed for our family to grow together. Thank you!

Hands on learning is the best, it’s how we concrete things in our minds. We love to take that approach in our homeschooling. Also being nature-based is a total bonus because we are all about the outdoors and nature and taking care of the earth. Especially my 7 year old! I have a 7 year old and a 4 year old (almost 5), that will be starting Kindergarten next year.
Emily
Almost 10, 4, and 1. I like the fact that it is a nature centered curriculum.
Ludovica
Hi, my name is Ludovica and I have three beautiful male children aged 4,9 and 11 years old. We live in Italy and we both parents are transitioning in beginning educating our children at home. I have been interested in homeschooling since my first one was in kindergarden, although is now in secondary school that we are struggling so much with traditional school. My oldest, that is a natural, passionate learning about nature, science and a huge reader is becoming more and more dull…he doesn’t like school anymore and is very anxious. I know Oak Meadow since when Jamie Martin began blogging about it (so, more or less 6 years now) and love it. I like the approach: the respect for children different personalities and rhythms they have put into their learning resources. Seems so strange, I was just thinking about this today: how beautiful would be begin this new adventure in homeschooling having the reassurance of doing the “right thing” for my children with those great companions aside! I have no experience in homeschooling yet, but I do love my children with all my heart and I know God is preparing a new path for us all. Hope oak meadow could help us to go into this huge new adventure having the right tools to do it with confidence and enthusiasm.
Anna
I am homeschooling 4, ages 14, 11, 7 and 4. I have always been drawn to Waldorf education and would love to use it for my youngest 2 who love all things crafty and the outdoors.

Sarah McIntosh
My kids are 8, 6, 4, and 3. Oak Meadow appeals to me because of their nature-based style of learning that is flexible and can be easily adjusted to our family rhythm. I also love the choices of literature for each grade and that the kids are given an opportunity to really think critically about what they’re reading. The hands-on activities that they provide are a must as well!
Daisy
My boys are 4 and 6, and love all things outdoorsy, we love learning through and about nature.
Marla
I have six children between the ages of 5 and 12.I like learning approaches that consider the whole human person and do not separate the intellect from the heart and soul. I have never tried Oak Meadows, but it looks like a very integrated curriculum and that is why I would like to try it.
Missy
My son is 9 and my daughter is 12. We do a little bit of this and that. I am trying to find our “fit” if there is such a thing. I love that Oak Meadow was created by parents and teachers who want their children to love learning. Also that it isn’t a one size fits all type of curriculum and that it allows each child to be their own person. My son is at home and my daughter is currently in a Christian school. As far as “school” goes, it is great. A much better option than others for sure. She was bored at home. We would really like to bring her home again so she can be herself and do what she is interested in. And also be the ones who are in charge of what she learns. It is hard not being involved in that and I feel like I am not doing my part. Also, she is getting caught up in the social aspect of it all & papers upon papers… I think Oak Meadow would help us to be a bit more structured but also allowing freedom. My kids both like nature, animals, arts & crafts. And Mom needs help orchestrating it all! Thank you!
Lori Gamez
My daughter is 11 and my son is 10. I’m interested in this curriculum because it seems to be well rounded and integrated.

My child is 6 years old. What I have come to love about Oak Meadow is the fact of its flexibility and usability. It is detailed yet not overwhelming, and challenging but not so much that you do not want to grow. The curriculum shows a great deal of balance, beautiful art and science and great use of math and language. I’ve been searching for something like this for a long while. I would hope to use it. It’s brilliant!

My daughter is 7 and currently in 1st grade. She loves Oak Meadow. I honestly don’t think that there is anything that she doesn’t like. It has helped foster a LOVE of learning. What I love is the mindfulness component. The curriculum is so deep, gentle and takes time. My daughter is in the present. She develops understanding from the very foundation and has an opportunity to learn things that she wouldn’t otherwise get to. Plus, we get outside all of the time; she is in a natural state the majority of the time instead of an artificial box. Thank you!!

I have 4 kids, the youngest two are at home with me (11 and 1.). I am making up my own curriculum and this would be so much easier. I love the natural world and hands on emphasis. ????

Hi! My kiddos are 7, 5, and 10 months. We have used Oak Meadow and love the art and nature based learning. Oak Meadow has heart; it’s not just fact memorization. Thank you!
Mel Williams
My kids are 14, 12, 9, 7, 3 and a 15 month old. We are longtime homeschoolers and we love to be outside and use a lot of child-led learning. I love Oak Meadow’s nature-based and slow approach to child development. I just purchased my first bit of Oak Meadow – 8th grade Civics. I would love to do a whole year 7th or 8th with my 2 older kids.

I have 4 boys ages 9, 6, 4, & 2 and we live on a small rural farm. We spend a lot of time outdoors and around our animals, so I believe this curriculum would be perfect for us.
Rachel
My boys are 5 and 8 and we are part of a homeschool co-op that is waldorf inspired and love many things about it. I have looked into Oak Meadow many times but have never taken the plunge as we have tended to lean a little more on the unschool side. But as my oldest gets older I think we would really benefit from having a more structured curriculum to follow and I think Oak Meadow would provide the happy medium we are looking for.

We have three boys, 7, 4, and 1. We love the outdoors and choosing how, what, where and when we learn!

hi, my boys are 10,12 and 14 yrs old. I have longed for a chance to school with your curriculum for YEARS! our neighbor had it and let me look it over…and my dreaming began! I love that you include everything…that it is so well organized. but,i must say that the part I like best is just that really good feeling I had when reading through it….you cant explain a feeling like that..it just happens and you know it’s “right”.

I have two boys, ages 5 and 3. We LOVE being outside and are about to move to a neighborhood with a big park that has more than just a playground – it has miles of walking/biking trails and a creek running through it!

My kids are 6 and 2. My daughter is currently in public school but it just doesnt feel like a good fit and Oak Meadow is the only home school curriculum that resonated with me while researching different options. I like that is has some structure but also gives you ideas to open it up for different types of play and exploration.
Thanks for the chance to win…cheers!

I have a 3 and 6 year old. We’re half way through grade 1 and love it. I like how easy it is to modify and how down to earth the curriculum is. My son enjoys the various activities and is not easily please with typical learning strategies:)

My kids are 13, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, and 4 months. I love the integration of nature in this curriculum! It teaches the child as a natural whole…not found in very many curriculums!

I have a 6, 5, 3, and 7 month old. Would love to have the opportunity to try this curriculum. We’re Just falling into our style and oak meadow is relaxed, fun, and explorative which seems like a good fit for our relaxed style but it also gives this unorganized mama some guidance. 🙂
Talena
My son is 13 and the oldest of five but the only homeschooler we have right now. We are using Calvert this year but would love to try oak meadow mostly for the project based learning. It seems as soon as we get interested in a subject we have to move on so I get the feeling we are touching all these great thoughts but never really connecting to them. There is just not enough room in my life right now to do all the extras I would love to do but it seems oak meadow builds them into the curriculum.
Cheryl Enright
My children are 5&3, of course, I’m interested in the kindergarten program. I’m in this abyss of options, but I can say that the nature thing really strikes me as effective. I also appreciate the fact that it’s been currently updated. That tells me the process of provided current material is ongoing. Of course, I cannot lie – the free thing really piques my interest. Thanks for the opportunity!

Megan
I have two boys age 7 and 9. I am intrigued by the flexibility of the oak meadow program and how comprehensive it is. For a mom who is on the cusp of jumping into homeschooling, oak meadow would take some of the guesswork away so I can decote my faculties to other tasks.

I am wanting to homeschool our almost 4yr old son.
I just learned about Oak Meadows the other day from another homeschooling family. And after discussing with them their experience with the program, it could just be the one I’ve been looking for.
I want a well rounded, secular, program that will fit into our creative and active lifestyle. We are a family of doing, so sitting at a desk all day would never fly.
Thank you for the chance to be able to apply the program that seems to be a perfect fit for us.

I’m so excited! It would be so awesome to try out this curriculum. We have 2 children currently learning at home, a 7 year old and a 5 year old. We also have 2 little’s, a 2 year old and a 5 month old. Looking through the curriculum, I like how it is all laid out, all listed together, no flipping through 5 different lesson plan books, it’s all together. The variety of topics looks really fun and engaging. Here’s hoping for the chance to fall in love with a new curriculum!

My children are 6.5, 2.5, and 13 months. We used Oak Meadow for kinder and my daughter and I both loved the connection to nature and the arts, an area lacking in many complete curriculums. We are planning to use it again for 2nd grade in the fall after trying to piece together different things myself this year. The revised materials look fantastic and it would be so helpful to win this.
Carine crooks
My girls are 6&8 and love artistic outdoor approach to life. So what appeals to me is the way my girls learn now and what oak meadow offers the natural materials and outdoor play emphasis and learning from nature. Also my daughter Ayla’s name means oak tree;) !!!!!
Angela
I have a 6 and 1 year old, and I enjoy the natural flow of learning from oak meadow- how it feels like a conversation instead of a lesson.

Jennifer
My children are 5.5, 6.5 and 3 and due to their special needs, Oak Meadow is the ONLY curriculum that they have ever engaged with so it has made a life changing difference for us!
The children love the magical feel to the subjects and love to be creative – they are stimulated and really get into each weekly task while still having lots and lots of down time for play.
Thank you for opening the competition to international customers – Oak Meadow is still quite unknown here in the UK but this will not be the case for long! We would absolutely LOVE to win this giveaway 🙂

Hi! I have a 10-year old sister and 15-year old broter who do homeschooling. What I love about Oak Meadow is its sincerity in helping to enhance the homescholing journey and its useful resources and links!
Maia
Hello from Manila! I have an 8yo son and a 4yo daughter. We’re homeschooling basically because my son has hearing impairment and Apraxia and I believe in respecting his pace and uniqueness, that a boxed school setting cannot easily provide. As both kinesthetic learners I want them to have options to learn at their own liking but at the same time I have a guide to help me. Oak Meadow would be perfect!
Helen Webster
My son is almost 6 and I have twin babies on the way. We haven’t used a curriculum so far, but I think it will be very useful to keep me focused through the first few months of sleepless nights and endless feeding! I like the way that Oak Meadow includes relationships and empathy in the curriculum, as I feel that these are important and often overlooked.
Elena Petrova
Hello, I have a 4 y.o. boy and a 2 y.o. girl. We live in Dubai, UAE. What we like about Oak Meadow is their Natural and Outdoor approach and Waldorf influence. We have not have personal experience yet with the curriculum but this is the one we have chosen for our 4 y.o. Thank you for the chance!

My kids are 3 1/2, 18 months, and baby due in March! As I have never had hands on experience with Oak Meadow (yet!), I feel like Oak Meadow would be the perfect curriculum to jump start our homeschool experience as my oldest will be starting kindergarten work next fall. I am trying to find something we can easily adapt to our schedule as I will have a baby wanting to explore and a very active toddler too. I am always drooling over their curriculum packages when deciding what program to try. Oak Meadow is top of my list as my oldest and Her love for nature coincides with Oak Meadows organic approach to learning, I feel like it would be the perfect fit.
Annie
I have one daughter who will be in 4th grade. We are going on well with our eclectic curriculum but Oak Meadow is quite appealing to us! My daughter loves nature, science, play, and stories; this sounds like such a great fit.
Gretchen
I love that oak meadow is written with a child’s level of development in mind. As an adult you might read the text and think it seems easy or light-but this was written for you. It was actually written in a way your child can read it themselves and it speaks to them. I am getting ready to start my third round of fifth grade with oak Meadow-our version is the old one and I would love to update (my kids are 6 years apart). I’ve always kept my oak Meadow books because it is my favorite curriculum:)
Amie
I have four children, three of which will benefit directly from this awesome curriculum. They are 5, 5 and 6. I love that their curriculum is complete but I will be able to supplement with our project based learning too!

Rachel Bancroft
My kids are ages 9 and 12. I’m drawn to Oak Meadow for many reasons, including the emphasis on gentle learning, creativity and family routines.
Brigitte
I homeschool my 12yo son, 8yo son and 4yo daughter. I’m very interested in oak meadow as it follows some of the waldorf philosophies yet laid out and goes through high school, so I wouldn’t have to do transition do other curriculums. I’m interested in 4th and 7th grades.
Sara
I have kids, ages 10, 8, 5, and a baby and I think Oak Meadow would be a great fit bc we love exploring nature and we love the rhythm of the seasons.

Carrie Reger
We love Oak Meadow. This year, we used a used version of K and 5th, due to costs. I would LOVE to be able to purchase the newest versions for next year, by winning this contest. Winning this would mean so much to our family. Oak Meadow allows me the freedom to homeschool in the way children learn.
Amanda Kowalski
I have 3 children (with a mind to possibly have more), a 5 year old daughter, 3.5 year old son, and a 10 month old son. We are currently exploring nature based learning. What appeals to me about Oak Meadow is the focus on relationships. My main personal goal for homeschooling my children is fostering positive relationships in our family. I want my kids to grow up into emotionally healthy, confident, kind, and self motivated adults. I also want to preserve their childhood and encourage their interests, play, and individual learning styles. I believe Oak Meadow will allow me to not only do that, but cater and adjust to the age range I am working with. Thank you for the opportunity!
Molly Parsons
My boys are 9, 7, and 5. We do a lot of nature study and experiential learning. I would love to have a more formal structure for my 9-year-old but still incorporate the ideals Oak Meadow has to offer. I love the holistic approach of Oak Meadow.

Laurin Flowers
My kids are 8, 6, 5, 2, and 7 months. I love the nature focus!
Lorianne Stogsdill
My kids are 9, 6, and 3. I’ve always liked the idea of doing school this way, and we currently follow the classical method with books that I’ve put together. What I like about Oak Meadow is that they have hands on projects laid out for you. That is the area I fall short in-I’m good with the reading and basic subjects, but it’s easy to “not have time” to do the extra hands on stuff! I will be looking into Oak Meadow even if I don’t win!
Chantal
My children are 5 and 2, and there’s so much I like about Oak Meadow after just skimming through the details on their website. If I have to pick one thing, it would be that they value educating the whole child.
Zsofi

Oak Meadow is the top home schooling tool. The courses integrate natural learning geared toward individual success. My Grandchildren are 4 and 6, living out of the country and could flourish with the Oak Meadow program.
Amanda
I would love to win this because I have been looking for something more laid back and fun for my 9, 7,5 and 1 year old. As our family grows larger I see the value of natural learning and making it enjoyable.

My girls are 5 and 7. We have been borrowing the Oak Meadow curriculum from friends and love it. I love how gentle it is as we meander through stories and our natural world and it’s rhythms.

My children are 7, 5, 2, and 1. I love that Oak Meadow would allow me to teach my children the way I believe in, without me creating all the curriculum from scratch to pull it off. That would free me up top spend more time doing and learning alongside my children!

My boys are 5.5 and nearly 4. I’ve been eyeing Oak Meadow for years- I love the nature & art influences and the stories. My oldest just barely makes the school cut-off age here with his late fall birthday, and I think OM is gentle enough that I can keep him grade level without demanding too much of a younger first grader next year.

Hi,
My children and 9 and 5. Oak meadow has always appealed as it seems that it would be a natural continuation of the way we learn at home. Sadly the cost of two packages per year prohibits it for us.
Xenia
I’d love a copy of this curriculum. It sounds just what we need.

My daughter is 11 years old. We are currently using the 5th grade OakMeadow curriculum and LOVE it. I like how each lesson is based on a week, which gives us just enough of a guideline of how much learning we need to complete on a daily basis. In the english and history book, I also love how children are giving several different choices when it comes to writing assignments. The thought of winning this giveaway is awesome!

What a lovely giveaway!
I’m currently homeschooling our 5.5 & 3 year old. We live in a forest on a mountainside so a huge appeal for me is the nature based learning & rhythm. Another appeal is that homeschooling has been harder than I expected with a 6 week old baby & some curriculum direction would be fabulous! Thank you for the opportunity.

My children are 6 and 2, for us the curriculum would mean being able to start home-educating without such worry over what lessons to plan. ”Learning with not only their heads but hearts and hands as well” makes Oak meadows particularly appealing.
June Johnston
I am a certified Montessori mom and currently homeschooling my 7 yo and 2 with K12 curriculum as supplement.
Been visited a Waldorf school in Aspen long ago and loved the philosophy of the Waldorf.
But, haven’t gone through thoroughly about Oak Meadow and would love to learn more.
Would be lovely to know more …as I’m thinking of changing curriculum.
Thanks.

My son is three and I have been looking at Oak Meadow’s Pre-K and K programs. I love their Waldorf-style, nature inspired curriculum’s.

Oh Jamie, this is such an amazing opportunity – thank you. We’d love to be lucky enough to win our next OM program which will be G4, and in the new, revised program that I’m excited about moving onto in that school year.
We are a Waldorf inspired family. We love that Oak Meadow grew out of a rich foundation of those beautiful Waldorf values and has developed such an enriching program through the years that weaves in modern day education to these mindful principles. For us, we find Oak Meadow to be a wonderfully well rounded program. The way the lessons and material are laid out in a very easy to follow way makes ‘digesting’ the information and presenting enriching lessons, very efficient. Prior to finding Oak Meadow I was being further and further consumed by monumental planning time needed to work material I was collecting into a program. Oak Meadow’s program is organised in such a user friendly manner and the material they give is so spot on for where it needs to be in meeting the child where they are developmentally and along their incarnation path. I honestly cannot speak highly enough of the program and the way our children and ourselves are being enriched from being an Oak Meadow Family.
Erin
My kids are 7,5, and 14 months. We are hybrid homeschooling at the moment and I’m not feeling good about the program we are enrolled in. This curriculum win would be such a blessing. I’d love to work at my kids own pace and be encouraged to learn as we go. We already love nature and have our happiest moments when we are out exploring and enjoying the beautiful world around us. My tinies are 1, 3 & 5. We adore exploring, adventuring and learning in natural environments & using our surroundings to connect topics and life skills together. Oak Meadow would be such a delightful addition to our natural learning routines and rituals.

I have 4 children aged 15, 12, 8 and 3. My 8 year old is a tree climbing, nature loving, plant growing, centipede searching bundle of energy and hugs and I find it difficult to find enough activities to keep him motivated and educationally occupied! The Oak Meadow curriculum would be the perfect way for me to ensure he was getting the most out of his boundless enthusiasm for life. Also his name, Oakley, means ‘oak meadow’ so he would be completely thrilled by that!

My children are 15, 13, and 11 years old. Oak Meadow interests me because it’s roots in Waldorf and encourages creativity and intellectual development through hands-on activities and interdisciplinary projects.

I have two 5, almost 6 year olds. They are nature loving artists and this curriculum seems right up their alley, while helping me stay on task!

I have an 8-year old son and I think nature based learning and hands on activities would be a great fit for him. He has ADHD and sensory issues so a regular sit and do worksheet type education doesn’t work so well for him.

I have 3.5 yr old daughter and 6mths old son, I intend to homeschool and I am open to new ideas. Show me why this is the best curriculum 🙂
Nissa
My girls are 6 and 8. We love all things flexible and nature based. I’m especially interested in Oak Meadows because we will be moving soon from California to New York. Due to the more stringent homeschool laws in New York, I’m looking for ways to satisfy the states requirements.

I have 3 boys, ages 9, 8 and 5 and I love the thought of a nature-based curriculum with lots of hands-on learning!

Our children are 6 and 8, daughter and son. We are a pretty laid back family and Oak Meadow appears to fit us from all the research I’ve done. But I’ve been hesitant to make the investment. Hope we could win.

I have a 3, 13, and 17 year old. I like that the curriculum is not only student centered and nature based but provides organizational tools to help make sure you are on track.
Pam
I am homeschooling my 7 year old daughter. She loves learning about the natural world, enjoys handwork and we like to do projects for science and social studies with hands-on experiences. While we have eclectically approached K and first grade, utilizing some Waldorf philosophies, we would love to use Oak Meadow for second grade.

This looks like a great option for us, as we’re considering homeschooling for next year.

My children are 9, 6 and 2 and there are so many things we adore about Oak Meadow. The top of the list has to be that this program allows my children the ability to have the childhood they deserve, the one I always dreamed they’d have!

My children are 10, 2 1/2 and 8 months! Although we’ve been homeschooling for almost 4 years now, I’ve only recently come to realize so many of my own philosophies and goals align with Waldorf education. I am excited about Oak meadow because the lessons are already laid out. That means a lot to a mom with tiny babies afoot!

I have twins who are 5 (“and a half,” they would want me to add). I like how the arts are integral to the Oak Meadow curricula. Thanks for this chance to win a copy!
Jena S
I have a gifted 5 year old and an almost 3 year old who likes to “do school too.” 🙂 I really like that Oak Meadow encourages family rhythms and adaptability rather than rigid structures like so many other curricula.

My children are 4, 2, and 8 months so I am very new to homeschooling. Once our family made the decision to choose this type of learning and I started my curriculum research, Oak Meadow is exactly what I was looking for my young learners! I love the idea of a hands on approach and a day to day plan but go at your own pace curriculum, I know every child has his/her own way of learning and pace and this looks like the best start for us!!!
Brandi
My kids are 4,6, and 9 and we love Oak Meadow because it’s open and go, and it’s very laid back.
Amanda Montano
I have a 10 yo, almost 2 to and am due with our third in a few weeks! I love Oak Meadow’s hands-on project approach. There’s very little screen time, it’s nature based and centered around nurturing the child. I love all of the connections my daughter makes between subjects as well! I shared this through the Facebook link for an extra entry! 🙂

Thank you for this generous giveaway, and a chance to win. 🙂 My children are 5 and 2. I love that Oak Meadow is a whole child approach that speaks to a child’s emotional, physical, and academic development. My older child is currently using Oak Meadow kindergarten, and the stories and activities apopeal to her, and fit well into our days of play and outdoor time. I really appreciate the beauty of the curriculum, and look forward to continuing on through the grades. 🙂

Hello! What an awesome giveaway!
My children are 7, 6, and 2 and we love homeschooling!! What I love about Oak Meadow is that it is digital. I find that I’m overwhelmed with papers and books and it’s difficult to sift through the vast amount of materials to find what to teach. This seems straight forward and environmentally friendly! (bonus!) I hope to give Oak Meadow a try next year to watch my children’s minds continue to grow!
Samantha White
My daughter is 6. I love Oak Meadow’s hands-on, nature-focussed aspects and know that my little girl would love her learning to be based on stories and the seasonal world around us. 🙂
Rachel Clark
My children are 7, 5, and 2. We love how Oak Meadow blends formal instruction into therapeutic lessons. It is a great balance of head, heart, and hands

I have twin 4 year olds that I’m planning on homeschooling for kindergarten next year. Oak Meadow appeals to me because it has a more laid back approach to early elementary education – more time for play and fun, which is exactly why I want to home school in the first place.
Jennifer Fischer
My kids are 3, 6, and 10. I think that Oak Meadow would be especially perfect for my 10 year old. We’ve struggled to find the right fit for her and I feel that Oak Meadow is exactly what she needs.
Chris
My word for this New Year is SIMPLE. That’s how I found this site, and actually it’s what turned me on to Oak Meadow. My 7 year old Olivia is a nature-lovin’, picture paintin’ free spirit, and the last thing I want to do is mold her to a curriculum. Oak Meadow seems like it would be a beautiful learning experience for her and allow her to be herself. I couldn’t want anything more than that!
Becci Sundberg
My boys are aged 6 and 7. I have always loved the gentleness and organic feel to Oak Meadow. We are striving to live a Simple Life and I think this would fit perfectly.

The ages of my children are 4, 8 and 12. I love that the focus is education.

After reading the description, this seems like an awesome Curriculum perfectly suited to keep my high functioning gifted autistic 4 1/2 year old interested on a daily basis. Yay!

I have three girls, ages 6, almost 4, and 2. The nature aspect of this curriculum is very appealing to us. Our girls really crave and need time outdoors in nature. We also enjoy a relaxed pace that is child led. Would love a chance to try oak meadow. I’ve been considering it for the last couple of years but haven’t taken the plunge yet. Figured I would try this first – thanks for the chance!

I have 6 children, all of whom I have home schooled. My youngest two boys are still being home schooled while my elder 15 year old son is now at high school. I have perused dozens and dozens of curriculum over the years, (and bought several…plus many many books!) and experimented with many different learning styles. It can be a challenge to keep up with each developing child. But one enduring style has always been our love of the outdoors. Oak Meadow curriculum addresses the simplicity I love as well as the natural outdoorsy life, whilst learning in a fun and interesting way. It is good of you to make this very cool offer.

I love Oak Meadows “whole-child” approach and also integrating the environment and artistic expression into daily life and learning. I’m an American living in Australia and my kids are 5, 4 and 19 months – we are diving into ‘homeschool’ for the first time next week as the school runs from then until late November for us!
