We are planning to sail away for a year or two with our seven year old and would love to take oak meadow on the road with us.
Age 6. I have heard many good things about Oak Meadow. I like Oak Meadows hands on learning. I looked at the first grade package and liked the concepts to be taught for the year. Including calender cycle, letters, numbers, fairy tales and so on.
Both liked on FB.
9 year old – I think she’d like the hands-on activities. I’d like the slower approach to learning than is often found elsewhere. (Thanks for the giveaway opportunity!)

Thanks for all of these great giveaways! My girls are 8 and almost 7, and my son is 2! I have been planning on trying the Waldorf method this upcoming year, so a whole Oak Meadow curriculum would be perfect!! Thanks!

My children are 12, 8, and 5. We have been homeschooling all of the children, basically since birth. Having just come through a rough couple of years of sojourning and using a very rigid fundamentalist curriculum we have decided to make the transition to the much more gentle, creative, and flexible Oak Meadow curriculum. Having explored the samples and talked to families using Oak Meadow, we really feel that this will meet all of the children’s learning needs and styles, and allow them to walk the world in wonder again 😀
My kids are 2, 5 and 9
We love the whole child, natural approach of OM!
I already “like” OM on facebook
And already like simple homeschool on Facebook 🙂

4 and 11 months!
We are excited to begin Oak Meadow this fall with our outdoor-loving preschooler! Our second son has some health issues and the flexibility and grace in the curriculum is going to be so helpful!
My daughter is 11. She learns best through hands on orojects and Oak Meadow would be the perfect fit for her!
We are trying to live an authentic life, connected with nature, and I believe Oak Meadow curriculum could help us in this journey. My children are 7 and 3 and love what we have seen from Oak Meadow in the past.
I already like Simple Homeschool and Oak Meadow on Facebook! Thanks!
My daughter is 7 and going into 2nd grade. We pulled her out of public school mid year last year as it was not a good fit at all. She has numerous vision issues requiring vision therapy, Tourette’s syndrome, ADHD, anxiety and is gifted. She tells me almost daily how much happier and less stressed she is at home. She was having panic attacks almost daily at her previous school. Waldorf consistently comes up in my research for a scientific approach to special needs. She is a very creative girl and so far what I’ve learned of waldorf and incorporated into our lives has fit very well. We have been saving up for OM2 and winning this would free up a lot of funds for other homeschool supplies and adventures! I also have a 4 year old who I think Oak Meadow will fit well in the future! I have already liked both the Facebook pages! 🙂
I have liked both oak meadow and simple homeschool on Facebook!
My children are 10 and 7. They love project based learning and retain so much more when they get their hands dirty.
My twins are 6 and I love that the curriculum is nature based.
My sons are 12 and 15. I love the fact that OM is flexible and it challenges your kids to think about the content they just read about. There is no read and fill in blanks and I love that! I also love that there are many options for the student to express their knowledge about the subject!
Already liked OM on FB!!
My children are 3 and 5 years old and adore stories, natural learning and exploring. Oak Meadow just makes sense to us all. Emphasizing reading, rituals, creative skills and organic learning is what we have been looking for. I’ve basically unschooled my children (at such a young age! What’s wrong with the world!!!??!!) and have found my children. Two individuals who love to explore, love, learn and be themselves. From what I can see Oak Meadows supports us all in this journey and even if I don’t win the curriculum, I’m going to tell all how awesome it is and ordering it anyhow!
Thank you all for making me realise I’m not alone and crazy because I want my children to be loved, happy and healthy and not part of a corporate factory scheme.
Much love and keep up the good work! I am about to hit like on both of the above (or below?) mentioned fb pages to increase my chances of winning and sharing the awesomeness.

Southern Gal’s latest post: Curriculum for 7th Grade
My kids are 5, 3, and 1. I think they would benefit from lots of hands on learning. They all love being outside, and I would like to foster that love of outside.
I believe my daughter (6) and son (3) would thrive using OM because it allows for creativity, imagination and flexibility in our daily lives. My husband and I have struggled with the idea of using a curriculum and lean more towards the unschooling philosophy and feel this could be a good gentle option to begin with in the early years. Thanks for the opportunity to win!
Liked OM and simple homeschool
I like the nature-based approach, the flexibility, and so appreciate the support they offer in the form of additional resources and distance-based learning. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity!

We are thinking about homeschooling and would love to try out Oak Meadow. I know my kids would love the fact that it is nature-based. 6,8, and 10 years old. I think my girls would love the creative focus while my son would love the practical focus
With four kids (12, 10, 4, & 2) , I think Oak Meadow would be a great pace for our family. We always need more peace in our lives, and it seems like OM really values that.
I have 2 kids, 3 & 5, and we have talked about homeschooling since they were born. I work and farm, my husband is home with the kids. They are always asking such big questions and we answer them. I am worried they won’t get full answers at school because they are “too young.” My kids are already very in tune with life and death because of the farm. They help on butchering days! We also want to travel with them, and that is a better teaching time then any school day.
Thank you for this opportunity!
My daughter is 3 1/2. I love the gentle approach to learning that is Oak Meadow.
My 11 year old daughter is using Oak Meadow now and we will be hopefully using it in the future.
My son is almost two and I’m due with number two this January. I’m an RECE and I would love to check out your kindergarten package. Already like OM
I have OM kindergarten and am getting ready to start with my 4 and 5 year old kids. What I love most about it is they focus not on training a child in a certain way, but in assisting them to unfold their true selves. We don’t make them become someone we want them to be, but we help them become who they already are.
I like OM and Simple Homeschool on FB 🙂
My kiddos are 6 and 4. I love OM’s approach and integration between child and family. This is exactly what we desire.
My boys are 2.5 and 5.5. We have used some Oak Meadow products in the past and love the flexibility and gentle approach. We would love to continue our exploration of homeschooling as my boys grow.

Liked you on Facebook! I am due with baby #4, although I am a little nervous about homeschooling this year, I feel such a passion for it, I am determined to see it through. Oak meadow is completely in line with what I want my home to look like. I believe it would help show my children the many ways to learn in life & help develop a love & joy for learning! Most impotantly, not just being “school” but building relationship between all of us & helping us use schools times as quality time!
My children are 2 and 9 months. I have had my eye on the Oak Meadow curriculum for a year now. I love the basis in nature and play, I love the idea of creativity playing such a large part, and I really love the natural progression! Thank you for the opportunity!

Just starting homeschooling and would gladly appreciate this curriculum. Thank you
My child is 8. Oak Meadows approach looks to capture the joy of learning. I love the nature based and heavy literature aspect of the curriculum.
My children are preschool, and first grade. I have steered clear of purchasing an all-encompassing curriculum in the past, but I think Oak Meadow would be a gentle-yet-structured approach that would be a good foundation for our school year.
My blessings are 10, 15 & 15 years old. I believe Oak Meadow appeals to me most with the incorporation of nature, art and handicrafts.

Pretty positive both my kids would love oak meadow! When starting my homeschooling I wanted to do the waldorf approach but didn’t no where to start, then got sold into a structure very black and white curriculum…which isn’t working well for my dreamer and free spirited children. I pray I can switch it up with oak meadow!!
My kids are 5,3 and 8 months! I love Oak Meadows approach to teaching. It’s awesome how the curriculum involves lots of nature inspired activities and teaching through stories. The approach is great for younger children. Thanks so much!
Both Facebook pages, Liked!
My kids are 12, 7 and 5. The phrase, “multisensory, experiential exercises” from the Oak Meadows website grabs my attention. My two youngest are very active and our current curriculum isn’t quite what we need … Oak Meadows looks very inviting!
Like both SH and Oakmeadow on FB.
I love Oak Meadow and am delighted to have found Simple Homeschool.
My kids are 11,9,7,3 we are open to trying new things.
My kids are age 4 and 6. We would enjoy the interdisciplinary aspect of the curriculum.
Hi! I have a 5 year old & an 8 year old…both boys. I am still new to homeschooling…this will be my 1st official “school year” & I would love this curriculum! I think my boys would especially enjoy the nature-based aspects of Oak Meadow since they love all things outdoors! It would be a GREAT help to win this prize! Thank you for your consideration! 🙂
My children are 9 and 7. We are eclectic homeschoolers and use curriculum loosely as we follow their interests and learning styles. I like that Oak Meadow allows for this while providing some great activities and ideas!
My daughters are 5 and 1 and Oak Meadow would be my choice for a Homeschooling curriculum (if I could afford it). I love the freedom of it… And I love the whole nature aspect. The curriculum is simply beautiful. Oh how I would love to win!
My daughter is 4 and my twin boys are about to turn three. We are new to homeschooling and we plan to start this September. I am still searching for a good curriculum abd this really sounds like it could work for our little ones!
My children are 8, 6, 2 and 4 months! I would love the curriculum because I feel like it offers an incredibly unique experience for each child, based on their needs and growth! I love that!!!
Kids are 5 & 9, and I love Oak Meadow’s flexibility, the use of the world around us, and how it fosters a child’s love of learning.
I like Oak Meadow and Simple Homeschool on Facebook.

I forgot ages…..my kids are 8, 6, 2 and 4 mo :). We love the emphasis on process versus product and the stories! I liked SH and OM on FB
oak meadow is great! I could use the help, thanks!
My children are 11 and 6. I like the nature and arts aspect of Oak Meadow.
My kids are 8 and 10 years old. I love how much focus OM places on art, literature, and hands-on activities. It was the very first curriculum I looked into when starting my homeschooling journey but the price made it out of our reach. We would love the opportunity to try OM!
My children are 3, 7, 9, 11, 11, 11, 16. Oak Meadow seems to use a gentle approach to learning which I feel some of my children would greatly benefit from.
My son is almost 7 and my daughter is 9 1/2. This will be our first full school year homeschooling after having taken the kids out of public school this past winter. I’ve been struggling to find ways to reignite my children’s confidence and love of learning after trauma they experienced in public school last year, but one thing they both truly enjoy is the natural world which is why I think they might find their sparks again if we tried Oak Meadow.
Have liked OM and SH on FB!
I homeschool our 5 & 7 year olds. I would love a chance to try OM as I have admired their curriculum for quite awhile but haven’t taken the plunge yet since it is quite different from our current approach. But with that said, I have been hoping to get to a more simple, child-focused rhythm in our home and OM just might be that first step.
My son is 8 years old…we just started homeschooling in January and just recently found a Waldorf based Co-op and would love the curriculum to support what he does these 2 days a week…also to help me understand the Waldorf philosophy and method of teaching…
My kids are 5,3 and 1. I would enjoy winning this because of the whole family approach and the emphasis on both student and teacher. Sounds interesting!
My girls are 6 and 4 and we will be starting to homeschool this year. I think Oak Meadows would be a great curriculum.
My kids are 2 and 4. I think this would be a great, gentle start to homeschooling.
My daughter is 3.5. I like Oak Meadow’s holistic, flexible approach to their curricula. It would fit very well in our lifestyle.

Wow, great prize. I would love to win this for our family.
Thanks!

I have a 16,15,13, and 5 year old and this curriculum looks like a perfect fit. It especially seems to be just what I have been searching for in schooling my 5 year old who has special needs…this type of learning would be sure to engage her learning style and make education not such a struggle but a wonderful experience as it should be!
My girls are 6, 5, and 1. I love the gentle learning style of Oak Meadow.
I have had both Oak Meadow and Simple Homeschool “liked” on facebook for quite awhile!
My daughter is 8 and I have had the opportunity to look through a friends Oak Meadow curriculum and I LOVE it and know my daughter would really enjoy it. I am thankful for this opportunity to enter your contest and possibly win some OM curriculum of my own.
As a first time home schooling father, my two children ages 7 and 8 will enjoy the diversified approach of Oak Meadow. Because life is a melting pot of “approaches, “Oak Meadow is complementary to life as it presents a variety of proven ideas on a playing field of Waldorf influences!
I like Oak Meadow and Simply Homeschool on Facebook.
My kids are: 8, 5, and 2. Oak meadow would be a great fit because were are waldorf homeschoolers and the older they get, the more support we need.

My kids are 8, 6, and 3. I love that oak meadow is child centered and nature based. Thanks for hosting this giveaway!
This would be awesome!!!
my boys are both 12, I like the complete package, prize 1. We would probably use it next year for 8th grade, as I have already sorted this year out. We like to spend lots of our time exploring our interests, so oak meadow might be the way to go for us.
I am enjoying the “connection” to Facebook and Simple Homeschool’s as a liked follower.
My boys are 5 and 6. I think Oak Meadow would encourage them to learn and to love doing so. That is something that will stick with them the rest of their lives!

Liked on fb
My girls are 5, 4 and 2. We love being outside, and it’s time to incorporate learning in a gentle way. We cannot afford to outright buy a curriculum, so this would be perfect for us!
My children are 13, 10, 7, and 4. I think we would love how it inspires learning and exploring without the kids even realizing that what they are doing “work”!
My girls are 2 and 5 and we would love this prize!
My oldest daughter is 4 and ready to begin kindergarten! I think she will enjoy the nature-based curriculum, and Mama enjoys a curriculum that really teaches a child to learn!
I like both Facebook pages.
My kids are 12 and 9, and I like the nature centered approach Oak Meadows takes. The creativity that’s encouraged is also appealing – when the kids are younger, its easier to tap into that, but I find its more difficult as they get older.
Thanks for the opportunity!
Like Simple Homeschool- already done! 😉
Like Oak Meadows- done!!
My son is 5 and I think we would really love all of the art and crafting and the focus on connectedness between parent and child
Our kids are 3 and 1. We love oak meadow because it is love based learning!
My three daughters that I homeschool are aged: 16, 14, and 11. The older they get, the harder it is to find curriculum, especially on a budget. This particular program would add so much to my daughter who is entering the 6th grade.
I liked oak Meadow and simple homeschool on facebook
I love the nature based component of Oak Meadow and I love how it covers such a broad grade range!!
Our school-aged children at present are 7-14. This curriculum is beautiful! I think my boys would enjoy the classic literature choices and the great craft projects! The art work is gorgeous and appealing as well. It would be a blessing to win one of these prizes….
My kids are 8, 6, 3, and 1. We use Oak Meadow already and we all love it so much. The crafting is such a fun part of our day and my daughters love that. I love everything about Oak Meadow and would just be so blessed to win another year of it.
My child is 13 entering 8th grade and could really benefit from the OM curriculum because it focuses more or the internal drive to learn and less on competition and testing.
My kiddos are 6 1/2, 4, and 2. We enjoy that Oak Meadow encourages a sense of wonder in children, and that it is also very adaptable to teaching various ages simultaneously :).
…and I already like both pages 🙂
I’ve looked at the Oak Meadows several times considering it for my daughters. The style of the program would be a great fit for my 4th grader (9 years old) and my youngest once she’s older (she’s at a preschool point -under 5).
My children are 7, 5, and 3 and I like the idea of getting to explore learning in other areas of interest with which we may not have explored much.
Our children our 9 and 6 and we are excited about jumping in to homeschooling for the first time. I love the idea of a more experiential based learning system. We are really excited about spending more time with our children and trying a different approach to learning this year.
I also like both pages on FB. 🙂

My children are ages 8 and 10. This will be our 1st year home schooling. I like the completeness the cirriculum offers!
I would love to incorporate the gentle rhythms of Oak Meadow into our days. We sometimes have a bit too much chaos going on and I think it would be good for all of us to learn how to find a natural, unforced rhythm. Would be fantastic to start Kindergarten this way and set us up for finding a love of learning for a lifetime.
I Liked both pages on FB.
I’ve liked Oak Meadow and Simple Homeschool on Facebook!
My kids are 5, 3, and one, and I’m curious to see Oak Meadows curriculum. I am interested in curricula that emphasize thinking and reasoning, and my husband likes the results Oak Meadow has posted on their website.
My son is 8-beginning the third grade. I love thus curriculum because it is eclectic and can be designed to fit the needs of each child.
My son is 3. I love the gentle, flexible nature of the OM products.
We will be starting kindergarten oak meadow this year! I have an almost 5 year old, and a 3 year old. I love all the learning through nature, and I know my kids will too. We’ve already changed our bedtime routine after reading the intro in the curriculum and we are loving every bit of it. This is exactly what we’ve needed. There’s more connection and less stress. Thanks oak meadow!
I like that this is nature based and flexible. My kids are 6 and 14. My son is seriously in the need for something different so he starts enjoying school work.

Our boys are 8 and 9 and we love that Oak Meadow is nature based and child centered.
My daughter is almost 4, and as we begin thinking about schooling as Australians living in Northern thailand, Oak Meadow Homeschooling is looking like THE option. With focus on creativity, nature and the arts, it fits in perfectly with our philosophy.
I have liked both pages on FB.
Our kids are almost 7, 5, and 2. My older two are so different in their giftings and learning styles…it is attractive to me to have something flexible enough to use for both of them effectively. Nature based is also appealing. I don’t want my kids (or myself) to hate school and learning. Believe me I have had curriculum that has almost ruined my oldest’s love of learning and stifled his creativity and curiosity.
My girls are 4 and 1. I love Oak Meadow and can’t wait to use their curriculum. We love that it’s a complete curriculum that covers all subjects. I also appreciate the integration of art, music, nature, etc to keep children connected to more natural, hands on ways of learning. Thanks for this opportunity!
I have two daughters….a 7 year old and a 10 year old. We love the rhythmic, holistic approach of Oak Meadow and have used it since the beginning of our HS journey. We would love to win the 5th grade package!

Mine are 6 and 10. I love the idea of gently easing into academics, especially for the older one. We have been mostly unschoolers and I think Oak Meadow will be a great fit for us.
My children are 5 and 10. This will be my first year homeschooling both of them. I love the concept of Oak Meadow. I think OM’s approach will provide a lot of opportunities for both of my kids to learn together, despite their difference in age. Also, who wouldn’t want a curriculum that incorporates Little House books?!
I think my oldest would love the gentle approach (3rd grade) and the books and crafts. But it sounds like it would be fun for my artsy K level girls as well! It would be hard to choose!

My kids are 20, 16, 14 and 11. We’ve home schooled from the start and boy have I come to change my views and methods! I’m not sure how my oldest two survived my harsh ‘public school’ like schedules we had in the beginning! I’d love this curriculum for my 11 year old Aspie daughter. I think she’d thrive and it would also help me as her mother/teacher. Thank you!
I am already a “liker” of both Simple Homeschool and Oak Meadow on facebook!

Hi there,
My husband and I have four children ages 2, 8, 8, and 9 who Re going into the 3rd and 4th grades. This is our first year of trying homeschooling, and I like Oak Meadow’s gentle approach.
My son is 11 with Aspergers. We started homeschooling in April due to the public school refusing to honor his IEP. He is doing very well in an homeschool environment and I think that the flexibility and nature focus of the curriculum is one of the best things about Oak Meadow. Thanks for the chance to win this awesome curriculum. It would definitely benefit him.
My children are 8 and 10 and I know they would dive right into the the Oak Meadow curriculum. I love how it supports a gentle, creative flow with an emphasis on nature and the whole child. Thank you for this possible opportunity.
Our children are 15, 12, 10, 7, 5, 2, and 8 months. I like how this curriculum focuses on each child’s strengths and interests, as well as the emphasis on learning with nature.
I have liked both Oak Meadow and Simple Homeschool on Facebook.
Our children are 8, 3 and 2. I think our family would enjoy the focus upon nature from the oak meadow curriculum as we live in a concrete jungle and it is sometimes difficult to be able to spot God’s handy work. And yet it is the beauty of his creation that brings light and hope to our days that can often be hard whilst living and working in a culture so different from our own.
Mine are 6, 4 and 4. I like the Waldorf-esque and creative approach.
My childen are 6, 3, and one. We used OM for kindergarten and my daughter loves this approach from the art to the songs to the nature to finger knitting.
We’re currently figuring out what path schooling with our 13 year old daughter will take this year. I’ve always thought Oak Meadow would be the way to have structure and flexibility all in one.

Hello,

I have a 6 year old girl and an 8 year old boy. We love oak meadow for the gentle approach it takes towards learning, how it gets families back to basics and away from the hustle and bustle of life. It gets children and adults back to Mother Nature and her rhythms. Helping parents raise mindful children.

I have a 1st grader and 4th grader this year! I realize my older child has dramatically different needs that require flexibility. She could not make it through a third grade day with our old curriculum, leaving me frazzled from urging and her stressed from trying to just get through it! Compassion in school, wish i had it when i was a kid. Thank you.
Greetings! I have been a fan of both Oak Meadows and Simple Homeschool for awhile, so both are “liked” on FB 🙂 The reason I would LOVE to win this giveaway is because our family has been through a lot and we lost our rhythm… I feel that it would be helpful in gaining that back. My son is 5 years old and will be in Kinder this year. Last year was very rough on him and I, because we found out that he is autistic. His first year of school wasn’t very good to him before I had him diagnosed. Lots of changes for his learning journey started last year. I’m choosing Oak Meadow because it takes learning a whole new level, sort-of outside of the box and I believe it will help my son grow in learning and understanding about life with hands on learning. This would be a great gift for my son. 🙂
My sweet little 4 year old is constantly curios at everything around her. I’d be thrilled to win an Oak Meadow curriculum to help foster her curiosity even more!

I already like both OM and Simple Homeschool on FB.
My children are 8 & 11, and I think we would most enjoy the flexibility. I perused through some sample lessons on your website and found several instances in which it gives the student multiple options to continue the learning of a particular topic by watching something, reading something, listening to something, building something, drawing something, or exploring for that something outdoors. I LOVE that! As will my children 🙂
My kids are 7, 10, and 13. We would love to try Oak Meadows! From looking at the samples I love how thought provoking and deep the questions and projects are. They really call for a lot more critical thinking then pretty much any other curriculum I have seen.
My children are 7, 4 and 16 months. I think we would enjoy the mind, heart and hands whole child approach of Oak Meadow, and I think the help with approaching art would be particularly helpful for me as I’m not very artistically gifted myself.

My kiddos are 5 & 7 and I would love to when this curriculum! 🙂
I like Simple Homeschool and Oak Meadow on FB!
Our children are 5 and 7 and have different strengths and interests. We have tried the Oak Meadows K volumes and loved them. Both kids enjoyed the stories and activities. It really brought out their little imaginations and fostered endless creative play!
I have 2 boys ages 7 and 5. We would love the child centered approach and my boys would love all the nature based science activities and arts and crafts!
Hi,
My kids are 5, 8 and 11. Brand new to homeschooling. Would love to try this curriculum.
Thanks
Nancy
I have been interested in Oak Meadow for a while, for my 2 & 4 year old boys. They learn best in nature and I think a gentle wholistic curriculum would be just the right fit!
I like both you and oak meadow on Facebook!
I have liked both Facebook pages 🙂 thanks!
I love the holistic approach to learning that OM has. My kids are 6,9 and 14 and I would love to share this with my 9 year old 🙂 Thanks!
My kids are 9,6,5,4, and an infant. I love the gentle pace and whole child approach.
And I like both you and Oak Meadow on Facebook!
My kids are 8, 7, 5 and 3. We have always compiled our own curriculum and it would be nice to try Oak Meadows for my 7 year old (in particular) that seems to be more of a creative, abstract learner. We have had a challenge finding what works for her and I think this may be a solution.
i have a 5 and a 6 yr old and they would love to grow with this approach as they jump into homeschooling together. They love crafting and self guided learning.
My daughter is 6. She is very artistic, I would love guidance on this style of learning!
I liked both of you on facebook
My daughter is 6. She adores stories! I have no doubts that the imaginative spirit of the Oak Meadow curriculum will help her learn new concepts in a very enjoyable way (as oppose to my unappealing intellectual approach). In addition to all the positive feedback I have heard from people using the Oak Meadow curriculum, I have read the sample lessons and love them!
I have liked both, Oak Meadow and Simple Homeschool on Facebook for long time. Thanks
My children are 5 and 1. I like the well that OM incorporates a gentle way of learning with nature and rhythms.
My daughter is 4 and we love to learn hands on. It seems like OM will be a good fit for her learning style.
I have two kids – a 4th grader and a preschooler. I really like the well-balanced approach to learning OM provides, and it seems easily adaptable to various learning styles. Thanks for the opportunity!
OM and Simple Homeschool both liked on FB. Thanks!
I love Waldorf style education, and I think my preschooler would thrive with the oak meadow curriculum. I specifically like OM’s choice of readers and arts.
My daughter is 5. I love the emphasis on creativity and gentle teaching at Oak Meadows.

My kids are 3 and 5 we will start our homeschool journey with Oak Meadow this year. I love Oak Meadows approach and can’t wait to start Kindergarden with my son. We were looking for a program that starts gentle and gives kids a good foundation to build apon while invoking creative think and we found it all with Oak Meadow. Would love to win our curriculum for next year.
I’ve like the Oak Meadow page and Simple Homeschool pages for some time now and love all the great posts from both. Both pages have really helped this first time homeschool mom get things together to teach my lovely kids.
Hello, my children are 5, 7 and 11 years old. I have always wanted to use Oak Meadow, but have never been able to afford them. This would be a dream come true to be able to use their amazing curriculum. We would also be thrilled for the book and art kit. I have both of you liked on my Facebook.
I have 3 kids ages 2, 4, and 7. I love that the oak meadow curriculum is unique and creative.
My kids are 8 and 5 and have been homeschooled their whole life. We are looking at Oak Meadow curriculum to help guide them on their journey. I love that this is child centered and hands on learning.
My children are 6 and 9. I’ve heard great things about Oak Meadow and think we would enjoy that it’s secular and all subjects are coming from one publisher – might streamline our schoolwork!

I have also liked both on facebook.
My daughter is 6 and she would love the integrated learning Oak Meadow offers, she is a visual learner with a speech delay and she would learn well from the sensory approach they take.
My kids are 4, 2, and 1. We are just getting started in our journey and have been researching oak meadow and a few others. My oldest is a gifted artist and we would love a curriculum that really fosters her creativity. I have liked simple homeschool on Facebook for a while now. I also like oak meadow in Facebook. Thanks!
We’re adopting an 11 year old and I love this nature based approach! What a beautiful way to approach learning.

I have a six and four year old. My six year old in particular would do very well with Oak Meadow. He is a naturalistic learner and requires flexibility. I have wanted to homeschool for a while.
I have a 2 and 4 yr old, and I am trying to find balance in our days. The rhythm talked about in Oak Meadow is just what we need. To set up our children to love learning and seek their passions in life are two of my goals. I have already liked your page on FB, and I will go check to see if I have liked Oak Meadow’s page. Thanks for the giveaway! I would really love the Heart of Learning book or a craft kit for my artsy 4 yr old. 🙂
I have liked Oak Meadow and Simple Homeschool on fb for a while now and love the posts by both!
My boys are 6 & 3 and we are doing a Waldorf-inspired homeschooling, which is exactly what Oak Meadow is. I haven’t looked at their curriculum yet, but I am very interested!
I like both pages on FB :]
We have a six year old who we hope will flourish and thrive with our new adventure into homeschooling. Our family appreciates the child centered learning and values the importance of teaching the whole child through choice and freedom. I have liked both sites and look forward to the advice.
We love Oak MEadow. I have a son 7 years old and we’d like to start second grade this fall. I’d be thrilled to win this for him and his education. Yes I like OM and your page on FB.
Thanks for the give away
I have 2 kids ages 11 and 14. I am interested in this approach as it looks very natural and yet seems to give some structure and direction to learning while inspiring!
My kids are 9, 8, 5, and 2. The older children have requested a more nature-based approach to school. Seems like this would fit!
My kiddos are 5, 8, 12 and I love the idea of a curriculum based on nature studies. Thanks for the chance.
My daughter is 2 and I think the flexibility sounds wonderful.
I have 4 awesome children- 15 yo boy, 13 yo girl, 8 yo boy, & 7 yo boy. This is our 5th year homeschooling and I’ve been transitioning into a more natural learning style & environment. I believe that Oak Meadow is a wonderful curriculum that fosters the natural love of learning. We could really use this new curriculum!
My kids are 7 and 10. I love how nature is incorporated into this curriculum, especially in the early years.
I like Oak Meadow and Simple Homeschool on Facebook
Just liked Oak Meadow’s FB page even though had frequented their webpage in researching homeschool curriculum. Thanks for the opportunity to enter!
My kids are 7 & 5 and I think they would love the nature based approach!
My children are 9 and 6 and we have used Oak Meadow before. I think the gentle approach, while aligning with peers/mainstream can be helpful.
Nicola’s latest post: just peachy
I have an 8 year old and two 2 year old. We love the math and science stories.
I have two students that would fit the 8th grade and below bracket. One is in 7th grade (13) and the other is in 5th grade (10). I think that Oak Meadow might be just what I am looking for. I have written much of my own curriculum for these two students, and as I am getting older, I find that I need to lean more on outside curriculum and I would appreciate Oak Meadow’s structure. At the same time, it seems like Oak Meadow also has many choices in terms of how they would like to learn the material and I like that.
My son is four and the fact that the curriculum is nature based and active is very appealing to us!
I like Oak Meadow and Simple Homeschool on Facebook!
My children are 6 and 3. I’m a previous teacher and decided to homeschool my children because my son is a strong independent learner. He thrives more on his own than traditional instruction. That’s what I love about homeschooling. It is more one on one student centered learning. This is the type of learning where my children learn the best without all the added pressures of being “forced” to learn things. My son is more further along than he would be in a traditional setting with traditional curriculum. This curriculum seems to be exactly what we are looking for being that it is student centered. 🙂 I would love to be given the chance to try it out!
Wesley is my 12 year old son. This is my first year homeschooling him, and we are looking for a more relaxed approach. A less “textbook” approach. I think Oak Meadow will allow us to have more time to do field trips, nature walks, and be involved in our community groups.
My sons are 5 and 3. The eldest has sensory processing disorder (along with some other interesting bits), but we find the natural world causes much less sensory overload than the man-made world so nature studies are great for us.
My kids are 11 and 10 . We’ve been homeschooling since the beginning and have always enjoyed a more natural, gentle, non-textbook approach to learning. I think Oak Meadow would align well with our curriculum style, and with the flexibility I could easily keep both kids together in the same program level.
My children are 7 and 4. I like that this program is student centered, flexible and nature based. I think this is a program my kids would enjoy doing.
7 and 11, I would love to engage my kids in real world education as a family.
I have liked both oak meadow and simple homeschool. I homeschool my Granddaughter Valerie. She is 13 and has special needs. The Oak Meadow curriculum would be ideal for her. I can be tailored to her learning abilities and style.
We have a 6 year old and a 4 year old. They love everything nature so I think this would be a great fit for us.
My daughter is 6 and I think oak meadow looks awesome because it is more than memorization and worksheets. I also love the way it incorporates nature since we are big outdoors people.
My children are 12, 10 and 7 years old. I think my family would enjoy Oak Meado’ws approach because my kids are very creative and like projects that challenge them to think critically and synthesize information they are learning. Oak Meadow’s curriculum offers those types of activities throughout the year in a variety of subjects. My children also enjoy the integrated approach when it comes to history, literature, spelling, grammar and writing, so Oak Meadow would be a perfect fit for them.
We already us Oak Meadow for this year’s curriculum. I would love to have next years also since we love it so.
Our kiddo is 5 and I like Oak Meadow’s approach because it fosters a love of learning not just recitation of facts and figures. Using nature, fairy tales, myths and legends to teach will capture their imaginations and will help them become creative thinkers which what we are looking for in our children.
We have already “liked” Simple Homeschool and Oak Meadow on FB!
My daughter is 7 and we would love the Oak Curriculum for 2nd Grade because we did K and part of 1st grade out a Waldorf Inspired school but due to bullying and an unresponsive administration we had to pull out and decided to homeschool. We have gone on the direction of unschooling but would love to have our Nature and Play based block learning back!!
We would love to win next years curriculum package. We are currently using 5th grades package and love it!!!!
My children are 7 & 9. I enjoy the holistic approach that Oak Meadow offers. As home based learners Oak Meadow has a nice balance of academics, nature and art presented in a nurturing way. I would LOVE a 3rd grade curriculum to use this year! <3
My kids are 8, 6 & 5 — and I love the nature-based, art-loving approach to learning! I know they would, too.
My son is only 9 months old. I am a fan of Oak Meadow. Although he won’t be doing any schooling for a while I would enjoy going through your sample set. No better time to start saving for our favorite curriculum than the present. I am happy to have found simplehomeschool.net now, also.
I like Simple Homeschool & Oak Meadow on FB. 🙂

My son is 7 and we are just starting homeschool this year. I think the flexibility and support of this program would start us a great path.
Bria is 6 and Izi is 3 and we love learning at home! This mama needs a bit of structure and I’ve discovered Bria enjoys a little more rhythm to our school day. I’ve looked at Oak Meadow several times and have even requested their catalog. Oak Meadow is a beautifully written curriculum and exactly what our family needs. Thank you so much for the chance to win!
I’ve “liked” both SimpleHoomeSchool and OakMeadow’s Facebook page.
Our daughter is 5 and a new baby is weeks away. I believe oak meadow would be a great fit for us homestead trying, woods living family to take back our system of education and truly focus on our kids and life.

My five kids are 13, 11, 9, 7 and 4! We love learning through nature, imagination and creativity. I’d love to use this with my 9 year old son. I think it’s just what he’d love!
I’ve liked both Oak Meadow & Simple Homeschool on facebook.

I would absolutely LOVE the opportunity to try Oak Meadow curriculum, it has been on my curriculum lists since we decided to homeschool. I love how it incorporates the subjects into story-like methods that hold attention and draw the child into wanting to learn. I love the art it includes, too. This would be such a blessing to win! Thank you for the chance!
i would love to try old meadow as we still need some more curriculum
I like both Oak Meadow and Simple Homeschool on facebook!
My boys are 9, 8, and 5. Our family would appreciate the well rounded approach to education. The enriching things never get fit in and OM seems to be full of them.
My children are four and two, and I’m looking for something that is flexible and child-centered.
My children are 7, 5, and 2 years. We use Oak Meadow and love it but it’s expensive, this would be great! Mostly I love the flexibility it offers, wonderful for busy families.
My kids are 4.6.7. We would like Oak Meadow because its not common Core.
Liked both facebook pages.
Our kids/curious little monkeys are almost five and almost three. I actually just received my Oak Meadow catalog in the mail the other day (*squeal*). It’s been on my favorites list for a couple of years as we’ve mulled over when and how to begin homeschooling. Their approach seems to most closely match ours with the extra oomph of keeping us on our game…like something we would do already, but with ways for me and my husband to help our kids tie together and apply all that we’re exploring as a family. I’ve been looking for something that “feels right” and the resources falling under the same style as Oak Meadow have really caught my eye!
My daughters are 6,3 and 1. We used Oak Meadow for kindergarten and it was awesome. So lovely and well presented with lots of room for individual family rythyms. We would love to continue the journey with Grade 1.
5.5 and 3. I like that is is flexible for each child’s needs!
My children are 12, 10, and 4

My Son is 10, and loves all the creative options Oak Meadows offers for active meaningful work.
My kids are 8, 5, and 4. We have been enjoying a summer of ‘workbook free’ learning. This year I am changing our curriculum to be more holistic and child centered and led. I would live to try Waldorf. Thanks for the great week of prizes!

My children are 9,7,6,3,1 and 3 weeks. I love the creativity Oak Meadow encourages.
Ages 5, 3, and 1. I like that the early years are more Waldorf-esque.
My girls are 6, almost 4 and 2. After struggling with reading and writing last year, I was so encouraged reading about Oak Meadow’s curriculum. I love the use of stories to teach (my girls LOVE stories of all kinds) and the well rounded approach to education. I love how 1st and 2nd grade curricula built on what we did independently last year (indoor garden, bird watching). I am so glad to have been exposed to this!
Already liked SH and just liked Oak Meadow.
My sons are 6 and 2.5 yrs old. I love the “whole child” approach and that they focus on different learning styles instead of just one. It would be nice to try out Oak Meadows curriculum.
Also, I liked both on facebook 🙂
My kids are 1,3,5,7&9. I like the natural, gentle approach that teaches the whole child that Oak Meadow offers.
Already liked both on FB 🙂
My son is 4, we’re just starting this homeschool adventure & would love to win!!! Thx!
My kids are 8 & 6. I think both of my kids would love this approach and after reviewing their website, I would like to incorporate this into our homeschooling. I love the part I read that said “Particularly, in regard to the young children who would be using this First Grade curriculum, we feel the best approach is
to integrate the recommendations concerning stories, notebooks,
poems, music, etc., into the natural flow of daily activities, so the
child doesn’t learn to make a distinction between “school” and
“life.” In this way, the child gradually develops the attitude that
expanding one’s knowledge and capabilities is part of the process
of life, and indeed is what life is all about.” I love that thinking. I was educated in the traditional sense and I want to get away from that in our homeschooling.
My children are 3 and almost one. Although we are not quite ready for kindergarten, this approach to learning really appeals to me and feels like a good fit for our family.
My boys are 7,5, and 3. We love nature based education. I have looked at this curriculum before, and it seemed like something we would enjoy partly because of that.
My children are 3 and 6! I love the waldorf inspired approach to homeschooling!
Like both on Facebook

My son is 5. I love the creative aspect of Oak Meadow. My son is definitely not into worksheets, so this is the curriculum for him. :-). I also liked both on Facebook.
I like the hands-on, nature oriented approach to learning that Oak Meadow offers. I have 2nd, 1st, and K aged children.
i have 4 children 6, 16, 21 and 25. Only my youngest is being homeschooled. I really like the relaxed creative aspects, Waldorf Inspired lessons.
My daughters are 9 and 7. I am homeschooling the older one from this fall. Very excited and nervous… I love Oak Meadow’s gentle approach!! My 9 years old would enjoy handwork, too, since she was going to Waldorf inspired charter school before.
9, 7, 5 and 3 – focus on nature and creativity
My girls are 4 and 6. I really love Waldorf Education and Oak Meadows homeschooling approach.
I love that the curriculum meets my 7 years old daughter where she is developmentally, it’s also a lot of fun for me to teach :).
I am a facebook fan of both sites.
8, 6, 5, & 4…..I have recently discovered Oak Meadow in my search for this year’s curriculum. It seems like a great program- I like the idea of it being focused on the child (versus ‘standards’) and nature-based is a perfect fit for my family as we spend much of our lives out of doors, exploring.
My boys are 5 and 3 and love nature. I like the gentle approach to learning.
…8 year old daughter
… LOVE child- led approach
Love the creative and imaginative form of teaching/learning!
Oh, and my boys are 5 and 7
My daughter is 8 years old. I like that the program seems very nature oriented and seems to have a relaxed pace.
I have 2 children ages 5 and 12. What I think our family would enjoy about the curriculum, is that it is colorful and it looks simple to use. I really think we would enjoy sitting and reading this together.
My kids are 10 and 6. I like that waldorf education is closely tied in to children’s developmental stages. So they find relevance in the subject matter and are genuinely interested in learning it.
Mr children are 4 and 1. I think my family would enjoy the hands on activities and flexibility of Oak Meadow.
My kids are 5,5, 7, and 12. I think oakmeadow would work very well for my young kids because they love the outdoors and I believe in play to learn. They could do “school” and then explore outside and put their education to the test.

Hello! We have 6yr old triplets! We have a very relaxed/creative environment for school and I think this would just work so well with what we do! Thx!
My children are 7, 5, and 3. We would love the Oak Meadow curriculum because my kids like school to be an all day, outdoors in the grass and trees, up to our elbows in stories and paper and glue and glitter type of thing. 🙂 Oak Meadow would fit right in with the way our family “does school.”
my kids are 10 and 1. I like that it is nature based.
My kids are 4 and almost 2! Our family would love Oak Meadow because they make learning fun!
I have three young daughters, ages 9, 7, and 3. We will be homeschooling the older two starting in the fall. They would so connect to a peaceful, nature lined education. Grateful for the opportunity to take a few steps back and recenter their learning and our days. Thank you, Oak Meadow!

I will be homeschooling for the first time beginning this year. My children are ages 11, 9, and 2. Ever since I started researching curriculums, I have been drawn to Oak Meadow. The curriculum is extensive, but flows nicely and I love the emphasis on nature.
6 and 3 year old, never heard of it so I would love to try this and sounds great!
I have a 4.5 year old, 2 year old and 9 month old so we’re early in our homeschooling journey. I like Oak Meadow because it’s a gentle introduction to education.
The kids are 11 and 13, and they enjoy the flexible learning experience.
My girls are 7 and 9. We chose homeschool so we could take a quieter approach that allowed the girls the time they needed to let things sink in and really become life long learners. Oak Meadow seems to both honor that approach and encourage children to enjoy the process.
I have liked both SH and OM on Facebook!
My boys are 7&4. We love to learn. Oak Meadow curriculum looks like it will foster that love, not only for my children, but for me as well!
My son is 12 and we would love the nature of oak meadows!
My two children are 2 and 4 yrs old. They both love being outside and I want to keep this passion whilst learning things along the way, Oak Meadow sounds just right for us.
My children are 10, 8, and 2.
I think that our family would benefit from Oak Meadow’s curriculum by experiencing a different approach to “learning”. I am intrigued by their description on their site!
My boys are 10, 7 and almost 2. I think we would enjoy Oak Meadows focus on critical thinking.
My son is six. I’ve looked and looked at Oak Meadow, but we can never afford it. The flexibility, the gentleness and the way it’s tuned to the child would be perfect for my son with his challenges.

Hi, my kids are 6,5 and 2. This curriculum would work really well for my 6 year old as she is really anti any ‘school at home’ type work. The music, stories, crafts and nature are absolutely my kids and how we approach life.
My daughter is soon to be 9 in the 4th grade. I love the creativity, flexibility and colorful aspect of the curriculum. It looks like it would make learning fun and natural for my daughter.
My son is 24 and was raised on Waldorf. He is now a fully independent adult who has found his life’s work in this world. I’d love to have the same opportunity for my 11 y.o. daughter. She would enjoy the many facets of the OM curriculum-art, reading, outdoor sciences, math, social studies, language arts. Thanks!

I like oak meadow and simple homeschooling on Facebook as Allie Brown-Wiley
My children are 3.5 and almost 1. I think we would love the emphasis on nature and on imagination!
My son is 8 and has ADHD. I think the experiential home learning of Oak Meadow would be very beneficial to him, as opposed to the standard in-class, textbook learning (that he really struggles with).
I’ve Liked Oak Meadow on Facebook! 🙂
And Simple Homeschooling!
My kids are 13 & 8. I like the emphasis on handcrafts and good books!
I have 4 kids. My oldest son is 8, my twin daughters are 7 and my youngest is 4. I tried oak meadow with my son years ago but it wasn’t a good fit for him at the time. I always thought it would be an excellent curriculum for my daughters so this spring I took the plunge and got the second and third grade curriculums. We started working this summer and the kids love it! I really like how it’s very interactive with the kids and doesn’t require a high reading ability early on. Even though my kids are all gifted, the older three are “reading delayed ” and last year I found it very challenging having to read complicated instructions over and over for them to do any schoolwork! My kids especially love the music and knitting that is incorporated into the program. Never have they begged to do school work, but this year they’ve actually participated enthusiastically! I love oak meadow!
I like OM and SH on FB. Thanks for the giveaway.
Liked both FB pages 🙂
My children are 4, 2, and 4 months old. My oldest would be starting JK in September, but we feel strongly about homeschooling and will keep him home. We are involved with a local biodynamic farm and have been introduced to Waldorf Education, as it is a land trust situation with the local Waldorf school involved. I would love to integrate Waldorf principles into our homeschool journey. I am a classroom teacher, but see how the Ontario curriculum is not meeting the needs of our children. They need a greater focus on arts, nature and play and less emphasis on academics. Oak meadow curriculum was recommended to me by a member of our local Transition group and I would love to try this curriculum myself but can’t afford it at this time. I would be ecstatic to win this contest! Oak Meadow seems like a good fit for our family. For an extra entry: I was already a fan of both Oak Meadow and Simple Homeschool before this contest came along.
Our children are 9, 5, and 2 1/2. I have liked the concept of Oak Meadow for years after being introduced to it through our first son’s Waldorf preschool. I like the gentle, holistic nature, the use of living books, and the hands on aspect as well. I am homeschooling my two children for the first time this year and am using Oak Meadow Grade 4 as my core. We are all looking forward to it!
I have liked both Oak Meadow and Simple Homeschool on Facebook.
Mine are 9,7,5,3 and I like that it is nature based. Reviews are also fantastic!
My children range in age from 8months to 9years. We love the nature based themes in Oak Meadow’s curriculum.

Yay for including we foreigners! My kids are 6, 4, 1 and one due any day now. Oak Meadow seems to take the best bits of the steiner waldorf approach without sacrificing academic achievement along the way. It would be a great fit here in my part of Australia where we have really strict rules for homeschooling but I would prefer to give the children a more wholistic, natural and gentle education.
Our kids are 9 and 5 and we would love the focus on nature and storytelling.
Kids ages: 6, 4, 2, and newborn. I like the whole curriculum package that is nature oriented… including music, art, etc!
My kiddos are 9,6,3 and 1. I appreciate the nature and environment centered learning. The gentle and natural approach is right up our alley!
My kids are 11, 5, & 3 and I like how it is so different from the textbook approach we have been mostly using. I like to use something with living books instead.
My kids are 7, 5, 3, and 1. i like that the curriculum looks like it is simple and child centered.
I liked both facebook pages 🙂

My mom runs a preschool for kids age 3 to 6, and they would definitely love the simplicity in learning.
My children are 5 and 2. I love the idea of learning through play. What other better way could there be to learn?
This is our 7th year homeschooling as a family, and I have pulled together our programme from a variety of places over the years, mostly with a Steiner/Waldorf emphasisi ( we are in Oz). My 2 eldest are now 2 old for this giveaway, but my youngest would really benefit- as would I. Oak Meadow is a curriculum I have always wanted to try. It would be great to then be able to recommend it to other families over here! Many thanks and blessings.
Of course, both pages are liked!! 🙂
Our children are 4, 7, 9, 12. They would love the waldorf-inspired, hands-on, art approach to learning. Fingers crossed. 🙂
Both pages are liked, of course. 🙂
My daughter is four. Not only is she the only child, she is the only child in a multi-generational home. For her, that means a lot of time spent around adults. With Oak Meadow, we adults learn to toss out our own agendas for activities that support her natural development into the lively, creative individual she is.
Liked Oak Meadow and Simple Homeschool on Facebook!
My girls are 6 and 10. I really like the fact that it encompasses the whole family. I like both pages.
My children are 2 and 6. I like that Oak Meadow is for the whole child and whole family.
I have liked both Simple Homeschool and Oak Meadow in FB.
Liked Oak Meadow on Facebook!
I need a fresh start. I am in the “bottom half” of homeschooling: down to the final 5 children! Some of my children really need a more creative-based, hands-on approach, and Oak Meadow seems to be great for this.
We have a 6, 2, and 7 month old. I love what I’ve see on Oak Meadow and would love to use this curriculum. This will be our first year homeschooling.
Liked Oak Meadow
Liked Simple Homeschool 🙂
My children are 6,4,&2. I love that Oak Meadow offers curriculum that develops the whole child, and that there is a focus on storytelling, art, and nature!
I have “liked” Simple Homeschool & Oak Meadow on FB (:
My daughter Anneliese is 4 years old and my son Ethan is 20 months. I know we would love a Oak Meadow education because of its emphasis on rhythm–something I want to learn more about–and nature and it’s gentle way of meeting children where they are by engaging their curiosity and imaginations. It sounds like a wonderful curriculum!
Our kids are 13,9,7,3. We love nature and being outside! Oak Meadow fits perfectly with this educational first love that started when our eldest was a toddler.
My children are 5, 3 and due in October. This will be our first year homeschooling (kindergarten), and I have looked into using Oak Meadow because of its Waldorf inspiration and emphasis on nature. I think this could be a great fit for my daughter. Thank you!
We have liked oak meadow and simple homeschool on FB.
I already like simple homeschooling on fb, and I just liked Oak Meadow. Thank you!
My daughter is 6! I love the nature based way of learning. I would love to win this for my daughter and myself. I’m a single mom and I have an extreme anxiety disorder. My friends ask me ask the time if homeschooling my daughter could me an added stress. Well, even if it is I’m not going to stop. It’s what’s best for her and I know it’s the right path for us. My daughter also had a hard time sitting and doing copy work all the time. This would benefit us greatly.
I like simple homeschool and oak meadow on fb 🙂
My children are 4, 2, and 3 months. I have had my eye on oak meadows for several years now. I was an ecological educator prior to being a full time mama and am seriously thinking of homeschooling. I am attracted to this curriculum because of its simplicity, rythym, and nurturing aspects. I love the emphasis on nature. I think it would be a perfect fit! Thank you!
My kids are 21, 18, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, and 6wks. I like how the lessons are laid out and it looks like it would have enough variety to be interesting without but without being stressful.
My kids are 12, 11, 9, 6, 4, 2 and baby on the way. I like the whole family approach and I would love to educate with an emphasis on nature!
I liked both on Facebook! Thanks!
My son is 7. We love Oak Meadow because it enables us to gently introduce topics in a way that makes learning fun, not monotonous. “I love school!!” is frequently heard in our house. 🙂 That tells me we’ve chosen the right curriculum!
I’ve already liked Oak Meadow and Simple Homeschool on Facebook. 🙂
My children are 8, 5 and 3 and the child centered approach in oak meadow appeals to me! As well as the nature and play based learning.
ps. I ‘like’ oak meadow on Facebook and ‘Simple Homeschool’.
My daughter is almost three years and my son is four months. My daughter is a big time nature girl so this seems right up her alley.
This is for my grandchildren. My daughter currently homeschools her 9 year old Autistic son and 3 year old daughter. She’s now expecting twins. I think this system would be very helpful for her. Having a teaching method that focuses on the individual child’s needs and learning abilities, involves the whole family, and is nature oriented sounds perfect to meet the wide and varied needs her children have. They’re a military family, so having suggestions for affordable activities will he welcome. She could really use something like this and it will benefit the whole family.
Our children are 5,4,2 1/2 and 1. We would get a lot of use out of the K curriculum! I like the hands-on approach for young children.
My son is starting first grade this year and we have chosen oak meadow- I am excited to try this for the year. We are excited about the focus on drawing and a different approach to introducing letters and sounds. Some of this will be review, but still helpful. This would be so helpful for our family.
My daughter is 4. This quote “Oak Meadow encompasses the whole child, the whole family, the whole self. The curriculum engages both the learner and facilitator in a journey and encourages authentic learning through intentional study.” perfectly describes what I have been looking for in a homeschooling method/ curriculum.
Our daughters are 6 1/2 and 5 (first and kinder) and we really enjoy the nature based, slow introduction to academics.
My kids. Are 13. 10. and 9. Its the child centered approach. That is appealing.
I would like to try and this for my children. Ages 8,9, and 3
My daughter is 5 and my son is 9 month. We love the Waldorfian approach that Oak Meadow provides.
I love how they use literature to teach language.
My children are 12, 9 and 6. I think the art infused curriculum along with the inherit flexiblilty and ability to “self pace” are some of the most attractive qualities that make me feel Oak Meadow would be a good fit for our family.
I liked both pages on face book.
My kids are 13, 8, 4 and 17 months. They are very much hands on learners, so that is a major appeal.
I liked oak meadow and simple homeschool
I think contextualized curriculum is the way to go! That’s why I like the Oak Meadows approach. I have seven children-13,12,10,8,5,3, and 1. I home-school all of them and would benefit from any grade curriculum you want to give me 🙂 Thank you!
I really like the sound of the Oak Meadow curriculum! I love that they’re not too concerned about academics in the early years, as well as the emphasis on nature.
My children are 4 and almost 2.
I have three rowdy girls ages 5 months, 4 years and 10 years. I have always loved the Waldorf method. It takes the whole child into consideration letting them enjoy childhood. They are amazing at incorporating the fine arts with wonderful crafts. I know my kids would fully benefit from this marvelous program!
My kids are 7, 6 and 2. I love the movement and imagination piece of Oak Meadow.
My kids are 7, 6 and 2.
I love the movement and imagination piece of Oak Meadow.
Hi our children are 8 and 5. We have used Oak Meadow for 3 years now and love it. Its so great to be able to have two children working on the same thing but at different levels as the curriculums are often well intertwined. Our family is very outdoors orientated and Oak Meadow works so well with this. I love how it covers every area of our lives but lets us deliver how we want to went we want to. Being in New Zealand means we need to flip a few things round but it still works so well. Working with Oak Meadow also means our children can talk about other children around the world doing the same thing and that really special.
Recommend the journey totally
My girls are 14, 12 and 10 year old twins. I love the idea of Waldorf inspired curriculum. The hands on approach and gentle guidance appeal to ne.
My kids are 2, 10 and 12 years old. The independent focus of the upper grades appeals to my son, and we are Waldorf inspired learners.
We liked both on Facebook many moons ago 🙂
Our daughter will soon be six. I think she would most enjoy the stories and art. I’m really attracted to the integration of nature studies. Excited for the chance to win 🙂
We have a 4, 6, & 8 year old in our family. I’ve always loved the beauty of the Oak Meadow curriculum and I think the nature aspect and the fairy tales would be especially appealing to my 6 year old.

ages 4.5 and 7. They would both LOVE this and so would I. It is very free learning, nature loving, and we would fit it into our lives very easily.
My boys are 6 and 7 and I think they would like the nature approach to learning.
I liked both pages!
I have a 4th grader, 2nd grader and early pre-k. I like the child centered approach that Oak meadow offers.
FB liked.
Our children are 4 going on 5 and 7. We would be delighted to earn the complete curriculum as Oak Meadow continues to be the only curriculum I would purchase if I could. Instead, we get by with what we have or are generously donated and the library takes care of the rest. Thank you again Jamie for all the celebration this week and generosity.
My children are 3.5, 2 and 5 months. Our family loves how each part of the curriculum is defined and purposeful. Also the inclusion of nature as a major component.
I’ve liked both on FB 🙂
I have a 5, 4 and 2 year old. I am very drawn to the entire phylosophy of this curriculum. The individual approach, the nature education and play based mentality are just perfect. I have struggled finding a good fit for my middle son he is bright, inquisitive and highly imaginative but he has some special needs. They leave me feeling helpless. I feel like this might be the answer we have been looking for.

Authentic learning through intentional study? What’s not to love?
(And my kids are 2,4,6,and 8, with another little lady arriving in the fall. 🙂 )
My kids are 13, 11, and 5. My boys each have their own set of special needs that require definite individualized schooling. Your program appeals to me greatly. I also clicked “like” on FB.

I liked oak meadow and simple homeschool on facebook.
My daughter is 4 and we would enjoy this curriculum and it’s involving the world around you and the nature based learning. My daughter and I enjoy many adventures together learning about the world around us including hiking, kayaking and beach combing for natures treasures and these moments are times I treasure now and will forever. To be able to bring that nature into the classroom and to take the classroom out into the world around us would make learning a great adventure for her and allow us to form an even stronger bond.
Following on Facebook!
Hi-my kids are 4 and 7. I would like to use the curriculum because of the ability to combine ages and especially for the nature/hands on aspect.
My kids are 6, 5, 3 (triplets), 2, and 4 months. I’ll be homeschooling the kindergartener this year. He’s very hands-on and loves art activities so I think this would work well for us.
My babes are almost 5, 3 and 1. The oldest two are ahead in work (1st/2nd and k) because they choose to. My oldest has some special needs (previously Aspergers and sensory issues, etc). I like how the program can be tailored to your children. It is a natural learning system, which is always best! I liked on Facebook too!
I would like to win the curriculum not for myself but for a friend who is homeschooling her five year old daughter for the first time starting in September. When she asked me for advice on picking a curriculum I recommended Oak Meadow after looking at several other programs. Her family is very much into nature and learning with their hands and Oak Meadow just seems to fit not only how they learn but how they live. They have a very tight budget and have been trying to get the funds together to buy the First Grade package but haven’t been able to do it yet. It would be awesome to win and help them get their first year of homeschooling off to a great start.
I have a 6 yr old & 13 yr old. My girls love to read & explore & I love to ‘learn” right along with them…would love to experience something different!!
My wee hobbits are 7, 6 and 3. We are interested in Oak Meadow for its more nature and Waldorf inspired curriculum.

My children are 12, 9 and 7 and we’ve just begun our home schooling journey in July. We live in a beautiful part of Australia, North Queensland, where the beach meets the bush and the bush meets the rainforest. We are all nature lovers and the Oak Meadow program would assist us to combine our picturesque location with our learning.
I have also liked both pages 🙂

I have 2 daughters. 6 yrs old and 2 yrs old and another on the way. Oak Meadow curriculum would be a perfect fit for out homeschooling style.
My daughter is 8, and Oak Meadow seems to fit our lifestyle the best due to the fact that it allows me to teach religion as a separate issue and not part of the overall curriculum.
I, also, have already liked Oak Meadow and Simple Homeschool on facebook.
I have liked Oak Meadow’s FB page and am already a fan of Simple Homeschool’s FB page. 🙂
Homeschool a 12 year-old. Looking for a curriculum to encourage more critical thinking, something that will have everything laid out for me and encourage more individual work

My children are 5 and 7.5 and we love the gentle approach of waldorf combined with the structure of a planned curriculum.
Our children are 6.5, 3, and a baby to be. I think Oak Meadow would be a fantastic fit for my eldest (first grade) but still a lot of fun for our preschooler who enjoys participating in our school activities here and there. It just seems really in tune with what we desire in a curriculum and my own schooling/parenting/life philosophies.
We are new to home schooling and my kids are 6.5, 4,& 1. The oak meadow approach seems like a perfect for for our family. I love the Waldorf method and appreciate the way Oak Meadow focuses on a rhythm to all things- even learning- while also emphasizing getting out in nature. I even believe I read that Oak Meadow features music study and my eldest son has requested to learn how to play the recorder. This would be a great way to see if Oak Meadow will be as great a fit for our family as I expect that it will be for many years to come!
I like (love) Oak Meadow and Simple Homeschool on Facebook! SH is one of my favorite resources!

My kids are 6 and 5 years old, currently in first and second fpgrade, this curriculum will be a complement to the different ways that both of my kids are learning. Being able to develop areas that my kids are interested in, it’s a wonderful way to homeschool.
My daughter is 8 and my son is 4. They will love the creative approach and learning about their world in a flexible way. I will love all that as well as having help with encouraging my children to remain curious, creative and involved in their learning.
I like Oak Meadow and Simple Homeschool on FB.
Age 12
I am very new to homeschooling. I have searched and searched all the materials out there and this one gives me the most confidence. My daughter and I are looking forward to not just learn through books but apply real life. That is what I had been looking for. Thank you
My children are 9 and 4 and one on the way. Would love to have this since have variety of ages and to have indecent learning.
I follow simple homeschooling on Facebook, always great tps and resources.
I follow oak meadow on Facebook also 🙂
I have been looking at Oak Meadow for awhile now. It was recommended by another home-schooling family. My young people are 8 yrs and 6 yrs and I haven’t followed a curriculum so far but we are getting to the point where we are needing a little structure. Oak Meadow sounds like it may be a good fit for our educational journey. We fall more towards unschooling in the sense that we use experience and child led interests as our guide. Oak Meadow sounds like it is a flexible guide for us to follow.
My kids are 2 years and 4 months. I’m interested in this package because I’m wanting to begin homeschooling my oldest soon & youngest later on. My oldest loves anything and everything about nature, and this is the first thing I’ve come upon that seems that it would work for us! Thanks!
I’ve also like Simple Homeshool and Iak Meadow on FB.
I would love to be able to introduce my 8 year old daughter to this style of learning. Learning should engage a child’s natural curiosity and this seems to do the job 🙂

My children are 5 and 3; we are at the beginning of our homeschooling journey and we are looking for the curriculum that best fits us. Oak Meadows is on my list of good curricula to check into. I’d like to try it, because it is hands-on, includes art and nature studies and I can work with each child at his own pace and level.
I have liked Simple Homeschool and Oak Meadows on FB.
My children are five (turning six next week!), three, and 20 mos old. Our family would love Oak Meadow because it combines the best of my big boy’s love of nature and exploration, my middle daughter’s knack for hands on crafts and gives little miss toddler plenty of chances to join in the fun.
We have five misters ages 3, 4, 6, 7 and 9. We are new to homeschooling and we are very impressed with the emphasis on engaging the whole family while learning.
My kiddos are 6 and 2. I like that is curriculum is flexible and offers user support. I need both since I’m just starting out.

I have a 11, 9 and 4 year old. Love it! Thank you for the opportunity to win!
My kids are 11, 10, 8, and 7 and I think OM’s gentle, nature-massed approach would work well for my family.
My 3 boys are 9, 8, & 3. They LOVE being outside and I’ve asked them long before now what would they like to do in school to learn better. They requested more educational games and art. I think this would be great as my two older boys have many “learning challenges but are able to learn” with lots of hands on, discussion, and they ask many questions about nature and think this would be a good & different approach for all of us! I’m always seeking better and new ideas for us. I say, “us” because I’m learning a lot right along with them.
Gentle, hands on meaningful lessons. 🙂 Would love to do a program like this with our 5th grader, so many other 5th grade curriculums are full of busy book work & lose the “wonder” aspect encouraged in the younger years.

Hi . My name is Iveth and we are about to start our 1st year of HS. I have 2 daughters (12 and 8 years old ) and I was so lost in all the curriculum information and options until I found yours. !!!!!! For the last weeks I has been researching in every web site trying to find the rigth program for us , and after read all the information and made a lot of phone calls, I always come back to my fist option : Oakmeadow ,. , I have to confess that I am already in excitement- stress-panic mode hahahaha about the approaching homeschool opening day , but having a strong and organized curriculum is like a lifesaver for this first time mom , and at the same time is good to know that I can let my kids enjoy the education process without miss any important subject in this new learning experience. I really really want to win the price , it could be awesome if I can take away the stress-panic part and just let the excitement . Please pick me !!!!!!!!

Hello
My name is Destiny and this will be my first year homeschooling my son jaydin. Jaydin is seven years old and he will be going into the second grade.
Homeschool is a whole new world to me. I find myself being nervous, scared, but over all excited about homeschooling my child. I want to do what is best for my son and over all I want to make sure that this is a positive experience for the both of us.
The one thing that has been a bit overwhelming is choosing a curriculum; there are to many to choose from! After spending hours on the internet researching curriculums, lesson plans, field trips, and homeschool groups, i started to feel a bit discouraged. Although there were so many curriculum to choose from it seemef that each program was lacking something that I felt wad important to my childs academic success. The curriculums were either to religious, to much work, confusing, lack of accreditation, to expensive, or it was just plain boring. I have a second grader! Learning is supposed to be exciting and fun while at the same time academically challenging. I almost called it quits with my internet search until I stumbled across Oak Meadows school. I spent almost an hour on their website learning everything about that program. I fell in love! I said to myself FINALLY, I found a curriculum that is perfect for my child. I love the fact that it waldorf inspired and they have such a strong emphasis on play and creativity. I loved the fact that this program is more “old school”, we live in a technology driven world that it seems that our children lack creativity, drive, and they have little to no imagination because they no longer are outside playing or playing with toys. They are so wrapped up with their ipad, television, computer and video games. Oak Meadows provides books filled with amazing stories that can broaden a child’s curosity about his or her world. The program provides materials that are hands on, so not only is the child reading about science but he or she is able to experiment with the new concepts that they have learned. Oak meadows makes learning fun but at the same time they are still challenging the child academically! We can clearly see that oak meadows main goal is to raise a well rounded student, they encourage play, creativity, music, arts and crafts while at the same time providing a strong, rich and challenging curriculum. This project based program gives education and lesrning a whole new meaning. The best part is its accredited which is very important to me. I know my son will love this program he excels in science and math and he is also a hands on type of learner. He will have so much fun doing projects and learning new science and mathematical concepts. My son also enjoys arts and crafts he will love painting and playing with clay. Although my son isnt the biggest fan of reading and language arts I feel that he will enjoy reading the books that oak meadows have chose. Most importantly my son is going to have a blast learning!
My goal is to raise a strong intelligent Christian young man. I want my son to do well in school and have so many opportunities. It is important to me that he lives a happy and successful life. The only way that my son can be successful is to get a great education. I strongly believe that oak meadows is the best program for ny child and I am more than confident that this program will contribute to my sons success.
Thank you for reading!
Destiny
My daughter is 5. She’s really into circle time, art activities, and music right now. I know Oak Meadow is well-regarded in these areas.
I also liked both pages on facebook! I hope I win! It seems like an amazing program for my second grader!

Liked both on Facebook.
My daughter is 9. I think Oak Meadow would be a perfect fit for her because of the approach the program uses. Science, Nature Studies, handwork, etc. It’s all things she’d love to do and excel at, but I didn’t know how to incorporate them in to our day.
I have a 13 year old son and a 10 year old daughter. We transitioned from the Robinson curriculum a year ago (to a more traditional schooling approach) and while i do feel that we need more structure, my kids have not taken well to it, (particularly my 10 year old, who has a very artistic/musical nature). I think Oak Meadow could be the happy medium that I am looking for.
